A good tour

We had a fabulous tour guide Martina who was very easy going and knowledgeable. It was a great company to book through and we do recommend this to others. The tour itself we enjoyed but weren't overally blown away by it, even the sistine chapel surprisingly. Huge crowds also made the experience a little unpleasant unfortunately.

Wonderful Tour

So happy we had a tour with Emma. She has a wealth of knowledge that enriched our experience at the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. She was able to navigate us through hoards of other tourists and groups without breaking a sweat, while leading us to the famous artwork and statues we had come to Rome to see. Highly recommended!

I relished on enjoying the artwork at my own pace and knew about some of the gems I wanted to encounter face to face. Otherwise a guided tour would have served me better. Thanks! Very pleased !

Amazing!

A true bucket list experience. Loved every minute. The rep for the ticket company was extremely helpful and efficient, although it was not made clear that we had to meet him at an office to collect the official tickets. However, once we found him it was plain sailing and very fast through the queue!

Worth upgrading to small/private tour

Absolutely amazing experience. It's very crowded so worth the upgrade to small group or private tour to make it easier to move around. Our guide Sara was incredibly knowledgeable with animated stories for practically every piece. It was a huge enrichment to the experience to have the stories and histories explained. It helped to better appreciate what we were viewing. Amazing and unforgettable.

Best Guide Ever

Faith our tour guide was by far the best tour guide that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is incredibly knowledgeable, interacts with the entire group and made the topic wildly interesting. On a scale of 1-10 she is a 15 !!! The best, the best , the best !!!! This tour guide was very helpful and informative. He gave us directions of where to go, options of what to choose, and also directions on how to use the app. He made it very easy to navigate the area so we knew what we were doing. He also sent pictures so we had no trouble finding where to meet. I would look for him again to get a ticket from this tour guide.

Be aware the Vatican is very popular and queuing can be long and and perhaps you should consider buying a ticket that jumps the queue I did this and I think it’s worth it The tour is worth it although there is a lot of information to take in you are free to roam afterwards at your own pace

A taste of Pompeii and Sorrento.....

My family of three enjoyed this trip with our guide, Mikkela who was very friendly, kind, knowledgeable and a very fast walker. Set your expectations correctly for this trip and you will enjoy it. This was our first visit to Pompeii, and it was very interesting and impressive. We didn't realize the city was so vast. The time spent here was jam packed. The Pompeii specific guide mentioned one could spend 2-3 days and 4-5 hours per day since there is so much to see. The tour guide provided a timesaving option for a take-out pizza lunch to eat on the bus after the Pompeii visit. We opted for this and shared a pizza which was just ok and enough to keep away any hunger pains. The Limoncello factory 15-minute stop was not of interest to us, so we took pictures of the Sorrento coast and had a lemonade slushie (delicious) rather than tasting the liquors and candy. This was also our first visit to Sorrento so for this stop we followed the guide down to get a view of the beach and then my husband and I relaxed on a terrace with a drink and enjoyed the view. My daughter did some window shopping in the town. We were fortunate to take this tour in March when the weather is nice but it is not peak season when Sorrento would be so crowded. The tour was well organized and fast paced. The bus was comfortable for the 12-hour trip and the driver very professional.

Wonderful Tour and Great Guide

Our tour of the Vatican was wonderful! Loreley was a great guide: friendly, informed, and informative. She was really effective in moving us through the crowds and making sure we saw everything we came to see, and she clearly enjoyed sharing her knowledge. In the Sistine Chapel, we had a great private conversation about the frescos and about what it must have been like for Michelangelo to paint them. It was nice to be sharing ideas with someone who knew the Chapel so well. We were especially pleased that the tour left us to explore St. Peter's Basilica on our own with no time limitation. We probably spent two additional hours exploring this extraordinary church. EcoArt was great to do business with. They were contact with us throughout the process of planning the tour and meeting Loreley. They let us know early on that the Last Judgement fresco was being restored and we couldn't see it, so there was no surprise when we got to the Chapel. They checked in with us just before the tour to ensure we know when and where to meet. They were also easy to communicate with when we were worried they we would be late for the start of the tour (there was a downpour that morning) and kept in communication. We would be happy to tour with EcoArt and Loreley again.
