Really worth it. Our leader met us at the designated spot and walked us all the way to the entrance gate to ensure we were able to genuinely skip the line. She was so friendly and engaging, explained the layout of the Vatican and what to expect and provided a map with suggestions of where to start

Watch for scammers everywhere in Rome. A guy in a viator shirt tried to tell us we had missed our time and needed to buy tickets from him. Obviously the vatican is incredible, climb the cupola if you can.

The tour company messed up the tickets, so my kids went through security, but we were forced to wait outside in the hot sun for 10-15 minutes until they got things straightened out. The kids were scared, because the guards wouldn’t let them come back through to stand with us. Then once we finally all got inside, my ticket was still messed up and it took forever to get through the last security check.

Unfortunately when I booked I didn’t realize it was self guided. There is not much to review. The young women who assisted us to the entrance was quite nice and completed her task efficiently.

What an amazing museum. Be prepared to walk walk walk! There is so much to see. While you need to dress modestly, it is not required throughout the museum long shorts to the knee and a t-shirt are enough to satisfy. Many ladies had a tank top and put a wrap/shall over their shoulders to meet the requirements. If you go to the sistine chappel, be aware photos aren't allowed inside, your timed in it and it is not a straight line, it is a long walk. We did St Peter's the same day, they are two different non-connected entrances. The timed tickets and the guide made entry MUCH MUCH easier. The guides were pleasant, helpful and informative.

Sara our Skip the Line guide was professional, friendly, approachable. A PLUS!. This is all you need for your Vatican museums visit. Do not join a tour group - they're slow and crowded. Just get the Skip the Line tickets and go at your own pace. One thing to know is that she will be standing curbside with an umbrella with your STL Tickets, not inside any building Also the Vatican museums has an excellent food court.

Cool but disorganized

Overall, it was a really great experience and it was really nice not to have to be a part of a tour, mainly because all the tours were no less than four hours….. and often all the tours would cluster together in a very small room. It was very overstimulating, so it was really nice to be able to just walk away and move on when we wanted to. Also, the Vatican itself has headphones and information about the place for purchase to go through the museum if you would rather that than a tour. Little disappointed by the disorganization as far as how many different tour groups and how many different lines that were clustered around the area to get in. The meeting area was not very specific at all, so we almost missed our time slot because all of the tour companies were all clustered together on the same side of the street that the meeting location was said to be. But overall, the experience itself was really incredible and is a must see,

Extremely hard to find the meeting point as its a young man with an umbrella who disappears so you are left to be told to wait for him to come back. The museum was good but there is alot of walking for the amount you actually see.

The tour guide was the best! I had forgotten to switch my mom's name with my niece's name when my mom couldn't come on the trip due to her health. He spoke with a very nice lady at the check-in point who let my niece in with me to buy a ticket instead of making her wait outside in an extremely long line. I highly recommend this excursion.

It is over 3 miles of walking until there is a bathroom and water refill. Men have to cover their knees in the Sistine Chapel.

Much ado about an hour long walk in a hot & humid museum

Tour guide was easy to find and helpful getting us into the Vatican Museum very quickly. But after that we were on our own. So a bit disappointed. Took a while to get our bearings. Took over an hour to traverse the Museum to finally get to the Sistine Chapel. My suggestion. Create a tour that is a “Super EXPRESS Tour.” Takes you directly to just the Sistine Chapel. See the frescos and in and out. Fast and easy. Absolutely NO ONE follows the rules about women attire or photographs. Shameful.

Such a great way to spend less time in line and more time inside the Vatican. Our guide stayed with us until we got inside and told us what would happen at each security checkpoint. He gave us a map of the inside and set us free! Great way to do this, made it very easy.

Great to have a ‘skip the line’ tickets. Going through the Vatican is like following an IKEA store. Too crowded and too hot…recommend going early to avoid the queues and crowds

Beautiful, did with a 9yr old and teens. Lots of walking and it was very warm in the rooms. Lots of walking make sure you are in good shape. You walk for 2 hours straight.

The museum has an amazing collection of treasures, but wayfinding is poor and most exhibits have little signage to identify them, so it's an oooh-aaah experience with less educational value than I was hoping for. An experience with a guide might have been better.

Just line up and save yourself 100 dollars. All they do is walk you inside, you'll already be showing up early to find the guide anyway. Go stand in line instead.

Guide got us into museum,...

Guide got us into museum, we could get audio guide or not abd fo at our own pace which we prefer. Disappointing you have to completely leave museum and walk outside the wall to get around to St Peter's and very long lines, but that is nit Victor's fault. We chose to skip and return to Basicilica early, 7am to skip heat and lines.
