- Knees and shoulders must be covered in order to enter
- Visitors with a certified disability of more than 67% are entitled to free admission. If the visitor is not self-sufficient, one accompanying person is also granted free admission.
- Please note that this activity involves extended walking, stairs, and areas with limited or no elevator access. For this reason, it may not be suitable for guests with serious mobility difficulties
- Guests using wheelchairs or mobility aids must follow an alternative accessible route and therefore cannot join the standard group itinerary(if you selected the guided tour option) . Access to St. Peter’s Basilica from the Sistine Chapel is never permitted with wheelchairs and mobility aids. Please contact us before booking so we can assist you with the most suitable option.
- Strollers are allowed inside the Vatican Museums only if foldable, as they may need to be folded and carried during certain parts of the visit
- We're sorry, but late arrivals will not be able to join the guided tour (if selected in the option) due to Museum regulations.
- Please note that skip-the-line access cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals, as priority entry is valid only for the reserved time slot.
- Please note that a live guide and the St. Peter’s Basilica are not included in every booking option. To include Basilica access or a guided tour in your experience, you must select the specific option that clearly mentions a live guide or St. Peter’s Basilica at the time of booking. We kindly recommend reviewing the selected option and its inclusions carefully before completing your reservation.
- The ticket price includes the official Vatican Museums entrance fee (€20+€5 per adult, €8+€5 per child aged 6-18), plus applicable taxes, booking fees, meeting point assistance and operational costs

Don’t use their app to listen to your tour information. Rent the museums audio tour instead. Otherwise quick and easy skip the line was worth it

Grand with audio guide. Ended up doing the “kids audio tour” as a base. The queue to get in was fast with these tickets and with kids I think was a good option

The museums were amazing, however, be aware that to see it all, it is approximately 5 miles of walking. We didn’t have nearly enough time due to cruise ship debarkation and travel time. It was very crowded and very, very hot. I would not opt to do this in the summer again. A cooler day would have made a difference.

There's something really magical about the Vatican museums. The fact that it's 7 museums in 1 is really interesting. We were among the first ones in at 8am, and we were so early that some parts of the museum weren't even open yet. Our tour featured a recorded audio guide but we didn't have headphones so we skipped that part. We loved being in the museum so early, as we were able to beat the crowds and the heat. We were not rushed out of the Sistine Chapel and were able to enjoy every corner of it at our leisure. It truly is a site to behold. Every room in the museum is filled to the brim with amazing masterpieces, even the ceilings! Even my teenagers enjoyed it, and most of all being able to be in and out without a ton of other tourists was one of the best parts of it.
Ticket pickup was easy and we had a guide take us right to the front of the line to enter the museum. I was told to have passports, but we didn't need them. Still, I would just have them on hand in case. After all, the Vatican is its own country!
Can't say enough good things. Next time I come back I want do a guided tour including the basement!
This tour did not include St. Peter's Basilica, but the Basilica is free to enter so if you want to go, you can! (We did not opt to as it was the last day of our trip). Also, on Wednesdays at noon the Pope makes an address, so it's probably busier on Wednesdays so keep that in mind!
The tour price here seems overpriced, but I couldn't get any tickets online at all, so that's probably why.

This is an amazing experience with so much to see! I definitely recommend booking it. A couple of things to note… this is a very, very packed place to visit. We experienced thick crowds which made it difficult to really spend time looking at a lot of the exhibits. Also, this is not an air conditioned location (except the Sistine chapel). It’s packed with people and very little air flow. Because of this, I’d recommend going at any time except July to September. We went in July and I think it would have been more comfortable when it’s cooler.

It was a fairly quick process, and I did not have to wait in line with those without a ticket. I would recommend getting a guide or making sure you have earbuds for a self-guided tour to learn more about what you are observing.

Had appt for the Vatican for 12:30pm. Went to Viatore office 11:00pm. As I stepped inside (the other 9 people outside) the white male quickly asked me to step outside called another employee and indicated" stay outside for security let no one in" I'm black and so are all the parties with me. I purchased ten(10) tickets. I wasn't let back in the building stood outside and the "security" white male told me to come back at 12:15pm. I thought I would get them tickets upon showing up didn't think I had to show up 15 minutes before my appointment. The way they asked me to "step"outside and speak with me "outside" was embarrassing. The office area was not full of people and was only attended to when I was outside. I will not in the future do any business with Viator UNLESS it is my only OPTION.

We had a tour scheduled for 2 pm, and my phone rang at 1:05 pm from the company to tell me that my time slot had been moved to 1:30 PM. So, my husband and I hustled to their office. We arrived, and the group had already left! Furthermore, the office staff was very rude to us. When we finally caught up to the group, there was little communication and directions. We were given an app that did not work on my phone. It worked on my husband's phone but was very unclear and not helpful, providing very little information about the museums/exhibits within the Vatican. We relied heavily on chatgpt to guide us through the exhibits!
I requested a partial refund due to overall dissatisfaction, and of course, it was rejected. Customer service is terrible. I'm very disappointed in the company, as well as Viator.

The tour was overcrowded with large tour groups blocking the corridors. The audio was hard to use as the numbers did not match the rooms you were in. We were herded through the museum with no time to actually take in everything. The Sistine chapel which was our highlight turned into guards telling us to move on. I think we spent only 5 minutes in the chapel as we were pushed out with the amount of people visiting. Very disappointing. The tour group was very disorganised.

ESL (English as a second language), our guide was full of information, passion and knowledge. Unfortunately this would be lost to the background noise (the ear pieces provided were for one ear only, barely stayed on ear and not great for clear sound). Was challenging to understand or focus on his speaking. Add in ESL and it made for a long and hot (35c) day for a 2.5hr tour. For the price very disappointing.

Alex is who we compare all other tour guides to. He is 10/10. He moved quickly but gave real reasoning for moving through certain rooms to focus on more important art work. Loved his passion and extensive knowledge.

Alex was our guide. Very passionate and knowledgeable given he studied this subject in university. Great dry sense of humour ! Very detailed about the stories around the artifacts and sculptures with nice backdrop anedotes . Worth the tour to understand the history . Skip the line is a must .

Guide added little value. Just skip the line! A fixation on the details of painting detracted from the overall experience that spans history, culture religion and many disciplines of art. Weather also has a say in the experience. Read the room! Seek some shade or cut the monologue.

Frederico (aka Fred) was an INCREDIBLE tour guide. A great sense of humour, incredible knowledge and a genuine love for what he does. This was infectious and made our whole group invested and wanting to learn more. We were really impressed with his knowledge but also how attentive he was to the group ensuring everyone was comfortable but also respectful of such a busy area. We are so glad we opted for the guided tour - well worth the money and you leave feeling much more invested!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with insights that I would have never known about the Sistine Chapel. The office was very close to the Vatican Museums and she was very careful to make sure we were all with her at every waiting point. The experience did feel a little rushed but with all there was to see, I can understand why.
