Roberta was friendly & knowledgeable. We happened to run into her later in the day & she was so helpful!!

This was a fascinating tour to the DOMUS under the fountain. The archaeology was super interesting, and the water works were fascinating. By having an early appointment, I was able to finally access the Trevi fountain, as was my friend who was with me. She lives in Italy in Perugia and had never been there. It was an excellent tour and I would recommend it.

Our tour guide, Erika, was very informative. We were glad we did the underground version as well as above.
Claire_A, Jun 2026
The tour was very well organised and straightforward for the tickets for the trevi & icecream. Alessia was very knowledgeable and explained everything in interesting detail. The domus being underground was a welcome respite from the heat. And accessing the trevi afterwards was very quick and efficient

It’s a pretty interesting experience to go underground and learn about the water filtration system and that the same system implemented many years ago is still being used today. However, the guide that we had was what made the tour interesting. She was knowledgeable and explained everything in detail and with patience, if it were not for that, the tour itself would not have been as great.

This was very interesting to see. It is a still-working ancient Roman aquaduct. You should know that you have to stand during the entire tour, without walking very far.
If you've spent a lot of time in Rome and want to see something different, I recommend this. The tour guide was very good. It's just not a top sight to see in Rome.

Erika was very knowledgeable, energetic and passionate about Roman history and history in general. She made everyone feel welcome. I wish I had her as the Colosseum tour guide!

Erica was an excellent guide. This was a perfect 1 hr tour with just the right amount of interesting facts. If you are into archaeology and history, well worth the price.
Adriana_P, Jun 2026
The underground domus tour was amazing. But once we got to the trevi fountain they said our tickets were not valid for that and we had to pay to go in and see the fountain. Out ticket was supposed to include both, but they didn’t accept it. Disappointing.

Guide was extremely knowledgeable about the topic. Her delivery was well paced, interesting and entertaining.

Our guide Naomi was amazing! She gave a very detailed tour. You can tell she is passionate about her job! Our daughter said this was her favorite tour!

Obviously we booked for the Trevi Fountain but ended up on a surprising tour! The aqueduct's were a last minute tour we booked before our vacation! We decided it would be all worth it for the tickets/access to the front of the Trevi. But honestly learning about the history of Rome’s aqueduct’s was so so interesting, our guide was a very nice blond woman who definitely knew what she was talking about. It was very cool to see underground of the city with the different lasagna layers of Rome, and super cool to see the original ducts. We spent our time in Rome drinking/refilling our water bottles at the old public fountains so it was great to learn the history! And of course then there’s the gorgeous Trevi, it’s “just” a fountain but honestly it’s a work of art. Seeing it in person is nothing compared to the pictures, we also loved the “Lovers Fountain” off to side - great excursion overall!

Tour guide was good. Gelato was good. Underground tour was ok and the fountain was just too crowded and had to get to.
Barbara_R, May 2026
This was a good experience! Erika was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She was fun too. We learned a lot about Rome and the aqueducts.
Michael_H, May 2026
Noemi made the tour!!! We were blown away with this tour and our fantastic guide Noemi. Book it with Noemi. Wow. We wish we had her as our history teacher during our grade school years. She provided facts, information and humor all in one! We never laughed and learned so much on any tour we have EVER taken anywhere. You won't be disappointed. It's so cool that this aqueduct was not discovered until 1999.
Ken_P, May 2026
Great information and perspective. Short tour and nice option for the skip the line at the Trevi Fountain. Our guide was friendly.
Karen_P, May 2026
Wonderful tour guide, she did an excellent job of describing all of the underground history for the fountain.
Maria_R, May 2026
Naomi was so amazing!!!! She was at the meeting point way ahead of the scheduled time, helping not only the people on her tour but also others with doubts or questions, too. She was very knowledgeable, and her way of sharing the story behind both the Underground Aqueduct and the area around it, and how it relates to the Trevi Fountain, was just awesome!
Nigel_R, May 2026
Interesting tour in a manageable group. Unique archeological experience. Limited walking in a comfortable setting
chris_b, May 2026
A quick extra experience right near the fountain. It’s a small tour but has a lot of information. It allows you to have tickets already secure for the lower section of the fountain.
John_P, May 2026

CLARES_K, Apr 2026
We had Erika yesterday. She was a fantastic tour guide and even kept out two children aged 10 and 8 engaged. It was a perfect length and we really enjoyed seeing the Trevi Fountain at the end! Thank you
Marcia_H, Apr 2026
Great experience! Exceed expectations. Erica was an excellent guide and professional. Highly recommend.

Angela_D, Apr 2026
Totally worth every penny. Guided tour was exceptional. So informative. Pass to get to the front of the fountain, plus ice cream voucher.
Brilliant.
Highly recommend.
Tanya_H, Mar 2026
Fascinating historical perspective of Rome, in addition ticket for up close to fountain. Our guide was the best, she loves history!
William_T, Mar 2026
This was a fascinating tour! It’s short but worth it. Roberta was great. The access to the Trevi Fountain was a nice bonus.
Joshua_W, Mar 2026
Roberta was fantastic. Knowledgeable, easy to understand, and funny.
The Trevi Fountain is beautiful, but please be aware that that section of the experience is entirely self-led. They just give you your tickets and send you towards the entrance.
Marci_Z, Mar 2026
The sights were incredible, but our tour guide was long winded and couldn’t read the room. It was 1.5 hours longer than scheduled, spent more time outside talking than inside at the actual art. There was a definite language and culture gap. He was very knowledgeable, but would not attend a tour by our guide again.
