Go to the right place

JuanCarlos_M, Apr 2026
Since there are 3 Davinci museu.s in Roma, it is easy to get confused and visit the wrong place. Please be more clear about the address.

Amazing museum. Some say it is a small museum but I thought it was fantastic and enjoyed every second of it. Took me about an hour to wander through it

Enjoyable

Lisa_G, Dec 2025
Small museum, but packed with inventions and a hands on experience. The ou will learn a lot about Leonardo the artist, the engineer, the craftsman…

This is was a cute exhibition, a little small though. Would recommend that you pay for the audio tour because without it you go through the exhibition pretty quickly.

Leonardo da Vinci Museum

What a very smart man, so many inventions which are a part of everyday living now, from ball bearings, flight, submarines, suspension bridges, laminator and the list goes on - well worth a visit😁

Some concerns but enjoyed.

Eileen_R, Apr 2025
Overall very interesting. The walking tour audio was a little confusing. Suggest numbering them to match a voice information. Some of the exhibits were under construction or not available to physically try.

Leonardo da vinci exhibition

Patricia_S, Dec 2024
We liked the exhibition, it had several replicas of Leonardo's work. They welcomed us well, we opted for the audio guide and walked through the rooms. The location is easy to find, close to the flower field.

Excellent display

The entire museum was very interesting. Enjoyed the most all the model displayed. Especially the war machines.

Awesome place!

It was very interesting and informative! Get the guided tour, those are always better. Also the models of Leonardos inventions is great!

Leonardo Highlights

Dennis_M, Sep 2023
This was a very good display of Leonardo da Vinci’s works. I was impressed by the number of items displayed! I had an audio guide device which helped to explain and understand the items displayed.

Not well indicated

We went directly to da Vinci Museum to ear that we had to walk 25 minutes to get the tickets!!! We bought all our tours with Viator and the agent was on the site to give us tickets. In that particular case, we don't know all the Piazza names so we didn't figured that we had to be at 2 different places to get the tour. The Opera had our name at the entrance, Viator should do the same with the di Vinci museum or have someone to meet the clients there on a time set.

My son loved it!

It is a very interesting museum and my kid loved it. It was easy to book with Viator and an easy walk from Piazza Navona. Recommend

I have visited the **Leonardo da Vinci Museum: the Universal Genius and His Works at Piazza della Cancelleria 1 in Rome and I must say that it's absolutely fantastic! They have described the universal Genius in a great way, clear to visitors of any age. It's possible to understand his art, his science and engineering even through 3D holograms and you can touch almost all the inventions. At the end of the exhibition there is one extra surprise: an underground tomb in real flawing water dating from 43 BC! In fact, all the building that hosts the exhibition is just beautiful by itself.

Pretty cool, you can try almost everything and location is next to many other sightseeing so it doesn't take much time to find it or walk to it plus they have A/C there

When i arrived in Rome i heard about the exhibitions , so i when to see some exhibitions and i found a GREAT exhibitions close Campo di fiori, the exhibition by Leonardo Da Vinci . This exhibitions is very interesting because is inside at Vatican building , the machines are FANTASTIC, you can play, read and see the mechanic function in the holograms, is funny to because you can make a Leonardo bridge and is possible see also one original catacomb by 43 a.c. if you wanna see the exhibitions by Leonardo Da Vinci go to Piazza della Cancelleria 1 - Campo di Fiori

Kelly P, Aug 2017
There are actually 3 three Leonardo da Vinci Museums in Rome. One in Piazza del Popolo not this one, another near the Vatican on Via della Conciliazione not this tour either and Palazzo della Cancelleria this listing I walked in to the first and second before finally deciding to just pay again for the one I was in since it was getting late. The museum near the Vatican was interesting if you're a da Vinci fan. There were large wooden movable models of many of his machine drawings and replicas of many of his art pieces. You don't need advance tickets for any of these museums. The desk fee was 12 euro. There was no line and actually only 1 or 2 other people in either one of them.

Geraldine O, May 2017
Really fascinating museum which shows da Vinci's inventions actually made. Quieter than other attractions so you can really get a good look round.

Sinceramente no...

Eva_S, Sep 2021
Sinceramente no recomendaría. Precio excesivo para un museo que se ve en 30 min. No hay audio guía infantil en español. Está bastabte dejado, ni siquiera tienen baño para visitantes.

Response from Host, Nov 2021

Recomendo!
