Join a group of up to 30 people as you’re led through security. After that, you’re free to explore the Colosseum on your own.
Picture battles between Roman gladiators as you wander at your own pace—with no rush. Your tour includes access to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Both are located nearby, so you can head over on foot whenever you’re ready.

- Following the new directives of the Colosseum, the ticket to the Colosseum is nominative and therefore it is mandatory to provide the FULL NAME OF ALL PARTICIPANTS. (INCLUDING INFANTS)
- After the security check you’ll be free to explore the Colosseum with our incredible AI VideoGuide App
- After the visit of the Colosseum (around 1h), with the same tickets, you will be able to visit the Palatine Hill, Roman Forum and Imperial Forum still accompanied with our Videoguide App!
- The Colosseum requires mandatory entry procedures and mandatory security check that must be carried out. This may delay the tour departure especially on national holidays, weekends and during high season.
- Everyone, also children/under 18 must carry ID passports or a valid identity document (also a digital copy), because the Colosseum staff may ask to check them at the entrance.
- The Colosseum area is an open archaeological park and for this reason is not equipped with sun/rain covers and shops. The local operator is not responsible for any kind of discomfort due to this.
- Please wear comfortable shoes and bring your own bottle of water (no glass bottles/no alcohol).
- The local operator is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Roman Forum/Imperial Forum due to strikes, events, bad weather, etc.
- It is forbidden to enter the Colosseum and Palatine Hill/Roman Forum/Imperial Forum with with BULKY luggages, handbags. Please be aware that there is no luggage storage and that we cannot keep your stuff. Take only the necessary stuff: camera, plastic bottles, documents, wallets etc
- It is strictly forbidden to enter the Colosseum with knives and any kind of cutting object. Pay attention not to bring with you this kind of stuff.
- This ticket does NOT includes the access to the Arena (except if you booked "Vip Arena Ticket" option).

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this—waiting for a refund after a cancellation is really frustrating, especially when you’re already past the promised timeframe.
From what most tour companies state in their policies, refunds are usually processed within 7–10 business days after cancellation, depending on the payment provider and bank processing times . However, delays beyond that can happen if the payment is still being processed by the bank or payment gateway.
Here’s what you should do now:
Check your original payment method (card/PayPal) for a pending or incoming refund
Look for a confirmation email from the tour company with a refund reference
Contact them again via email + WhatsApp and request:
refund transaction ID (ARN or reference number)
exact processing date
If they don’t respond within 24–48h, contact your bank and ask them to trace the refund using the transaction details

Do not book with this App. The company canceled on us at the last minute after we traveled all the way from the US! Find another way or be stuck wondering around looking for alternatives. The excuse was they were too busy. Very disappointing and not acceptable when dragging your family around to Rome!

It was not suitable for elderly person with difficulty walking. Very crowded. People very close so my wife felt she was going to be knocked over. Only one lift near enterance so at exit had to walk all the way back against the crowd, which she found frightening. We did not continue to Forum or Palatino Hill.

We bought tickets to the Colosseum through this company, however, we were never informed that we would need earphones as we would be using an app on our phones as audio/video guide. This meant it was impossible for us to use the app inside the arena, so we toured the Colosseum with no audio guide. Also, our booking stated we had arena access, however, when we tried to access the arena we were told our tickets did not include access. Disappointing experience.

This was very disappointing, after a great tour at The Vatican.
Ticket collection is far from the entrance. There is no guide or assistance. They literally provide your ticket and an AI app. I would not recommend. Book a proper tour guide.

The entry was quick and hassle-free, with no long lines to slow me down. Visiting the Colosseum in person was a surreal experience. The sheer size and beauty of the amphitheater were even more impressive than I imagined, and standing where gladiators once fought was truly emotional. This was an absolute waste of money. They charge you all this money to allow you to download their app. You can not skip the line, the cellular reception in the Colosseum is limited and you keep losing the app. Do yourself a favor and skip this tour.

Ticket office was about a a half mile (10 minute) walk from the Colosseum. Easy to find with Google maps.
We had a self guided tour, down load the app prior to picking up tickets, once you receive your tickets, they will give you the code to access the app. If you have trouble or haven’t downloaded the app prior to picking up your tickets, the ticket agent will help you. Overall easy process.

Not enough time. The stated amount of time listed on the tour was cut short. Did not have time to do. All that is paid for. We ended up staying there and had to pay a train ride to get to spend a little more time at the sites. I wish j had just taken the public train there and back and explored on our own.

Loved the virtual reality experience! The VR headsets provided us with a visualization of what the ruins would have looked like and sounded like back in the day. It was fun and interactive. Would highly recommend.

So is so generic a simple YouTube search will give you a better result. Geofencing worked, but the videos were not good. My wife and I both felt lost trying g to figure out what it was trying to explain at the points it was.

There was a large protest/strike in Rome that impacted the tour. When we finally were able to get to the local agent they had no idea that there were hundreds of thousands of people in the street with police and military closing the direct route to your local office.

Unfortunately, there were protests in the area blocking the roads and cab strikes. I messaged the company the issue and arrived 15 min late. Despite explaining, I was told my tickets were expired and was not given an option for partial refund or to rebook on a later tour. While I understand the protest is not the company’s fault, I feel we could have had the opportunity to work out a better solution.

We did the Colosseum with Arena tour. It was great overall. We had a lovely time. I don’t think the “Arena” part was worth it as you only have one access to the main level to take a picture of the underground parts. It was a lot of extra money for very little and you can see everything from other vantage points for the lesser fee. We also didn’t use the AI app that came with (I’d rather hear a real person talk than an AI video) so we just explored. Overall though the people at the ticket pickup spot were great and the visit was worth it!!
