We had a fabulous experience at the Borghese Gallery. We were upgraded to have a tour guide, and Demetri was exceptional! His knowledge and infectious enthusiasm about the art and artists truly enhanced our experience. If you want an intimate, uncrowded experienced with some of the world’s masterpieces then this is a must see.

Our guide, Guido, had strong art history knowledge and gave us some great insights into the pieces we saw. Our group size was very manageable and we were able to hear with with head sets. Guido was very engaging with all participants- staying as long as we wanted for each room and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend thIs tour and Guido, the guide- he’s simply amazing.

The Borghese Gallery is not on everyone’s itinerary when visiting Rome, but if you’re an art lover it should be. Truly one of the most sumptuous smaller art museums I’ve ever had the pleasure to visit. If it only contained the extraordinarily beautiful sculptures of Bernini, or the paintings of Caravaggio, the tour would be worth the price, but the museum is jam packed with incredible art from Roman antiquity to the classical period. Our guide had an obvious love for the place, was incredibly informative and could answer every question. We highly recommend the tour.

Fantastic tour guide. Informative, great pace and very considerate of others. The museum is well run and organized. The museum lets you get close to the art pieces. The rooms were spacious and not too crowded due to the timed entries. This is the best memory I have of my trip to Rome.

A very beautiful and peaceful gem. The artwork and statuary in the collection matches any I have seen. The museum atte dance is well managed to avoid overcrowding . It was nice not be packed in for once. Our tour guide Frederico was one of the most knowledgeable and pleasant guides we have had in Europe. His knowledge increased my appreciation of the items on display. So glad we spent our time in Rome.

Helpful and informative guide of the Borghese Gallery's collection - particularly useful as we didn't have a lot of time, and we were unable to buy tickets through the gallery's ticket office as they were sold out

The Borghese has breathtaking masterpieces by Bernini that are worth the price of the ticket. Our tour guide was excellent - she took the time to explain each piece in detail and she also knew how to navigate the museum so that we arrived at works when there were fewer people around and we weren’t crowded. It was an excellent and informative tour.

Our tour guide was Silvia, and she was wonderful! Her knowledge of the gallery and the art was thorough and inciteful. She was very enthusiastic, and had an obvious love for the art and its history, and especially for Bernini. In fact, she has awakened in me a love for Bernini as well! Gabriele was my guide through the Galleria Borghese, and I had a fantastic time. Gabriele had encyclopedic knowledge of all the art, and put each piece in the context of its arrival at the Borghese. He tailored the tour to focus on my particular interests, while also making sure I understood how the gallery functioned as a seat of political power. Particularly interesting was both the rivalries between artists, and the rivalries between the great families.
Gabriele made sure I got great views of the most crowded pieces of art, and also managed to get us into the ‘secret’ gardens. This tour was fun and informative, and Gabriele was passionate about the art and history.

Need to know that the contact person with tickets will be outside the museum with a light blue flag.
Also bring your own ear phones to use Bluetooth. Tell people that before they leave home. This is very important. It is impossible to hear holding the phone to your ear.
