Impressive and...

Impressive and awe-inspiring tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica! It’s almost overwhelming to be there for the first time! We relied heavily on our awesome guide Eugene to help usher us through the daunting entrance and security set up and to help us understand the significance of much of the art. The museum is so so big and crowded that I think it would have been almost impossible without a guide! It was very hot and the Vatican staff really push you along, definitely no time to linger. Heavily regulated time in the Sistine Chapel (10 minutes?) which disappointed us to be ushered in and out (also really loud in there despite rules not to talk) but then as much time as we wanted in the Basilica. Overall just an incredible experience in total, for sure a must see Ilene in Rome!

Much ado about an hour long walk in a hot & humid museum

Tour guide was easy to find and helpful getting us into the Vatican Museum very quickly. But after that we were on our own. So a bit disappointed. Took a while to get our bearings. Took over an hour to traverse the Museum to finally get to the Sistine Chapel. My suggestion. Create a tour that is a “Super EXPRESS Tour.” Takes you directly to just the Sistine Chapel. See the frescos and in and out. Fast and easy. Absolutely NO ONE follows the rules about women attire or photographs. Shameful.

Rica was an amazing tour guide!

It was very interesting. It was just so hot. And my mother has a mobility scooter. I ended up paying twice the price for a private tour because of the mobility scooter. I really wish you offered tours for the mobility impaired that weren’t twice as much. This happened with my Vatican tour as well. I paid it because I didn’t want my mother to feel bad. But honestly, it was out of my budget.

Well organized tour

We happened to schedule our tour during a heat wave with temps reaching over 100. Our tour guide, Roberto, was interesting, charming, accommodating, and made the best a very hot tour. We had a long wait in the hot sun to get into Palestine Hill. The colosseum talk went very slow but was interesting. Overall, the tour was easy to book, organized, and well done. I recommend not booking tours in Rome in June.

Worth Every Euro – An Exceptional Vatican Experience

Excellent tour from start to finish. The skip-the-line access saved a huge amount of time, and our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely passionate about the Vatican’s history. Loved this experience!! The tour guide walked us right up to the entrance and did a great job explaining what the security would be like entering the Vatican! 2 things to know that I did not realize: - you need to pick up your tickets across the street before you head to the Vatican. So pay attention to the bottom of your Viator confirmation pdf. It has the address. - The tour company tried to reach out to me on WhatsApp the day before and I did not see their messages, which would have been helpful. That said, this was an amazing trip! My teenage boys agreed!

Tiger is amazing!

We were late to our tour for the Pantheon due to another tour that we were on running behind schedule. Tiger could not have been more accommodating. Not only did he call to make sure we were on our way, he also waited 20 minutes for us in order to give us our tickets. This is all in 94° heat. We could not be more appreciative of him and his patience and kindness!

First of all, Giovanni was wonderful! Knowledgable, funny, engaging - just great in every way! I am still in awe of the history, talent and beauty that we saw on this tour. Great tour thank you Sara

Our guide Sara was knowledgeable about more than each stop. She set up the tour giving us a larger picture of the history and events of different periods of the Vatican which helped us better appreciate the important events of the history of the Vatican. We can’t say enough that booking this tour get you in and moving , not having to wait in line for hours. Sara keep our small group of 10 engaged and moving while conscious of need for breaks. Having a small group was the second big plus, after having Sara as our guide. Unlike other tours no one was lost. Thank you Sara and Ecoart.

Excellent tour - recommended

I would highly recommend this trip. It was a last minute booking and we had to accommodate some changes for a family member, but it was no trouble. The afternoon of our trip it was during a biblical amount of rain, but despite the weather, Serena made it engaging and very informative and was accommodating of my sons aged 11 and 8. She had so much knowledge and it really brought it alive, especially with the overlay of pictures that others have mentioned. I really recommend this tour.
