A MUST do on your first night.

What an absolute treat this was on our first night in Rome. We wanted something easy on our first day. Some in our tour had a misfortune and had to leave the tour. However our guide Luca - was phenomenal. He was very engaged and easily and expertly showed us all the things promised. Wonderful!

Our guide Kate was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. She made her favorite comment, "Nothing is new!" (referring to the way history repeats itself) in many appropriate places along the way. Her photo album of past and present helped us interpret current locations. In addition, Kate was respectful to the needs of our group, affording us places to stop for shade and use the restroom. She was WONDERFUL!

Spectacular tour and tour guide

A spectacular tour from start to finish. Henry, our guide was full of information regarding everything we saw. We appreciated his obvious enthusiasm for the subject. He was most solicitous of my wife who has artificial knees and had trouble keeping up with the group. He often stopped to allow us to catch up, helping her take the elevator and even taking her arm to help her down a particularly steep incline. Excellent tour and Exceptional tour guides. Highly recommended.

Loved and Learned

The Vatican is huge and the museum collection is vast. You cannot see everything in one tour. It’s impossible. What you can, and should, do is have a guide that understands how art and Papal history collide and that is the gift we received in our tour. Our guide taught us and quizzed us. I’m happy to say that my family and I passed and we will never forget that Michelangelo lived for 89 years. 🙂 I will come back and I will request the very same tour because it was just that good.

Absolutely amazing. Was well worth it.

Roberto was fantastic. We had such an amazing day. Roberto picked us up and drove us out to mazzano Romano where we stopped at the local shops. We even had samples of meats at the butchers where all the meat came from their farm. The cooking location was amazing and Roberto was such an amazing teacher and chef. We can’t thank him enough for such an amazing day. Can’t wait to come back and do it again.
