Our driver/guide, Adriano was brilliant. His knowledge of Roman history was amazing and his tour took us to places we wouldn't have had time to see on our own. I wanted to see the Appian Way which wasn't scheduled but he was happy to drive there down to the first ever milestone and told us the story of "Domine Quo Vadis". He was such a nice guy with fantastic knowledge and I would recommend his tour to everyone. We even stopped for a coffee half way.

Even though the tour specifically stated entry to the trevi fountain was included, our guide didn't let us go in, saying that it would take too long. We were pretty disappointed, and feel misled by the tour description. Also, I would not recommend the golf cart tour in general, as the cobblestones in Rome made the tour a very rickety experience. It's hard to enjoy the tour when your whole body is shaking the entire time from the cobblestones, and it was also hard to hear the guide from the last row.

Until a few months ago, access down to the level close to the Trevi Fountain basin was open and included in our tours. However, due to recent changes and increased restrictions, going down now often involves very long waiting times. In practice, it can take up to an hour, which significantly reduces the time available to see other highlights of Rome during a golf cart tour.
For this reason, our guides now prioritize giving guests a broader and more complete experience of the city. It’s also worth noting that the view of the fountain from the main square is actually the best vantage point — it’s completely free, offers a full perspective of the monument, and allows for better photos compared to being closer at basin level, where space is limited and angles are more restricted.
Regarding the cobblestones, they are indeed a characteristic feature of historic Rome, and while they can make the ride a bit bumpy, they are also part of the city’s charm and authenticity. We understand, however, that this may not be comfortable for everyone, and we appreciate your honest comment.

I was very excited that I got to do a tour that allowed me to see Rome without compromising my comfort!We did this tour in their new 1920s look alike golf cart!!! Heads were turning! Paulo (Dino) was amazing and so knowledgeable ! Took to so many cool photos….Definitely recommend to all!!

This was a great way to get around Rome and see LOTS of sites in a short time. Really enjoyed it. It is a VERY bumpy ride, so if you have back or neck problems I would not recommend.
