- Please note: this is a private tour. The list of sites is a menu of options—not a fixed itinerary—and it isn’t possible to visit all of them on a 3-hour tour. At the start, your tour expert will discuss your interests and plan a realistic route. You’ll see as many sites as time allows.
- most tours operate with a six-seat golf cart—four seats face forward (including the driver’s position) and two seats face backward.
- Hotel pickup is offered only in the city center. Please check the hotel list or contact us if you’re unsure. If no pickup location is selected, the tour departs from the Rolling Rome office at Piazza del Gesù 47.
- Please note: this is a sightseeing tour and does not include entry to ticketed sites such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, or Pantheon. We’ll stop by these landmarks for exterior views and photos, but we will not go inside during the tour.
- The tour runs rain or shine. Our golf carts are equipped with rain covers for wet weather.
- For large groups, we can operate multiple golf carts—each with its own tour leader—and keep them coordinated and close together at each stop.
- No reconfirmation is required upon arrival. If you have any questions, please send us a message at the time of booking.
- All golf carts are street-legal and equipped with seat belts and side protection.
- We can accommodate a wheelchair for free only for bookings of up to three participants.
- For safety reasons, each golf cart can accommodate only one baby seat, which must be installed in the middle seat next to a parent.

Leonardo was amazing. He kept all of us fully engaged and was great with the kids. Showed us all the places/highlights as well gave lots of information about it. Gelato stop was perfect for the summer heat!

Cesare was an awesome guide, taking us to so many great, out of the way places, as well as the popular spots. He gave so much great information and history along the way, answering questions, and keeping things fun, even in scorching heat. It was such a fun experience and I would recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic tour with Suzanne who was engaging, knowledgeable and efficient. She arrived at the arranged pick up site on time and we were amazed at how many sites she was able to take us to see. There were built in stops to grab drinks or snacks and we never felt rushed. We especially loved that Suzanne was able to take us to the perfect vantage point at many of these sites away from the crowds; this led to not only us learning so much about Rome, but also some unforgettable family photos as well. We will definitely be recommending this tour (and Suzanne!) to family and friends that we know are travelling to Rome!

Angelina was so fun to tour Rome with on our first night there! It was my daughter’s first visit to Rome and we had limited time to see the city so this was perfect. We saw all of the highlights around the city - the Vatican, Pantheon, Spanish steps etc. and the night time lights made the city seem magical. She tailored the tour to cover what we knew we wouldn’t otherwise have time to see, Angie also stopped so we could wander briefly and take pictures at sites, and at the end, she suggested a great place for dinner (delicious and reasonable!) walking distance from our hotel. Fun night that I would definitely recommend especially for first time visitors to Rome!

If you want to be able to see Rome and not get frustrated or annoyed by the long walking or scorching heat the golf cart experience is a must. We had such a great time seeing the sites our tour guide Eugene was amazing and so knowledgeable. We enjoyed every moment of this tour. Would recommend it to all my family and friends if ever they are in Rome!

The evening tour is wonderful! Lorenzo was our guide and took us to places we didn’t know to ask about. He was very informative and interesting. Fewer crowds and cooler temperatures were very welcome!

Was the best excursion of our trip. Would recommend this tour over specific site tours. Exceptionally good for elderly people. Were I to go back to Rome I would hire the Golf Cart Tour for eight hours every day I was there. Our most excellent guides took us everywhere we wanted to go with good cheer and knowledge about everything.

Our guide was knowledgeable, and funny. We saw a lot and learned a lot. With the crowds, it was nice to cruise around. The only issue was it is a little overpriced. I wish he would have explored some other spots (our fault for not being more structured, as we didn't know). He could have also offered to take more photos, instead of waiting in the cart. Overall, great experience!

This golf cart tour was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip to Rome! Our guide, Giulio, was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. He was funny, entertaining, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal.
We were traveling with my elderly parents, and Giulio could not have been more thoughtful or sensitive to their needs. He made sure they were comfortable throughout the tour and allowed us to experience so many wonderful parts of Rome without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. That meant so much to our family.
We saw amazing sights, learned so much, laughed a lot, and got to experience parts of Rome we never would have discovered on our own. Giulio even went above and beyond by making a lunch reservation for us at a wonderful restaurant, which made the entire day completely effortless.
He took care of everything and made us feel like we were seeing Rome with a friend rather than simply taking a tour. If you are considering a golf cart tour in Rome, BOOK IT — and if you can request Giulio, absolutely do!

After traveling from Sicily overnight this was a great way to see some of Romes attractions without having to walk in the heat. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us time to take pictures and explore places with a few minutes at each stop. He was also amazing by booking us a dinner reservation at a non tourist area where the food was amazing and told us about 100 tiramisu which was an amazing spot to get dessert.

Our tour guide Francesca was incredible!!! Very knowledgeable and super friendly. She was very accommodating allowing us to stop or detour as needed. There is no way we would have seen as much of Rome as we did without it. We highly recommend this tour—well worth the money for the information, the places you see, and not having to walk, plan, or drive!

My wife and I were married 50 years ago and we wanted to celebrate our Anniversary in Italy. She was still recovering from a broken femur from 7 months ago and her walking is still limited. Then I saw this tour by golf cart. It was absolutely amazing. Julia picked us up at our hotel with a smile on her face and asked us what preferences we had in what we wanted to see. It was a perfect beginning of putting us at ease with what would become a beautiful, informative, funny and extremely enjoyable morning. Julia was so knowledgeable on all things Rome yet at the same time personable as we shared things about family, dogs, and raccoons (she loves them). As the toured ended, she was so gracious to take us to the Trevi Fountain we wanted to visit and eat nearby. Before departing we got hugs and perfect directions (on flat ground) to the subway to return to the hotel. It was a day we’ll never forget.

We had such a fun time on this tour! Great way to hit the city’s main highlights without getting stuck in the huge tourist crowds. Julius was our guide and honestly he made the whole thing. He was awesome, super knowledgeable and easy to hang out with the whole way through. Would definitely recommend!
