We had a wonderful private tour and learned so much about the Vatican! Even with Sistine Chapel being closed, due to the conclave, the day was full of interesting facts and places. The additional skip-the-line tickets to Santa Maria Majori were such a blessing to us. Thank you for a great tour!

Santi was the tour guide for our group of 6, which was great because we had someone dedicated to ensure we got through the lines smoothly, found our way from each destination of the tour and navigated through the busy crowds. I expect not as busy as summertime but still busy. Santi was practical and kept us on track so we could enjoy all the main highlights. It wasn’t clear upon booking confirmation how early to arrive at meeting spot. I recommend arriving at least 30 minutes because it is a good 15-20 minute walk to the designated Vatican entrance from the meeting spot and we found ourselves walking very quickly (something to keep in mind especially if you have elderly in your group like we did). Overall, I recommend a dedicated tour guide as going through the Vatican on a busy day can be overwhelming and hearing/learning about the Vatican from the tour guide adds so much to the experience!

We paid $$$ for a 3 hr private tour. Senti was our guide. He did an ok job but after 2 hours he left us and pointed to the Basilica and left us alone. It felt like he couldn’t wait to be done. Would not spend $752 for private tour for 2 people.

We all were overwhelmed by the beauty and magnificence of this glorious treasure. Andrea,our guide, was the best! He was so knowledgeable about the Vatican Museum, Michaelangelo and the Sistine Chapel. I am the oldest in the family group and he made sure I was comfortable. He is a treasure as well! This tour was private and we did indeed "skip the line ".

Roberto was an excellent guide. He was a wealth of knowledge and shared very interesting facts about the key pieces we had time to see.
Skip the line means just that. We passed hours of waiting. At the end of the tour, I was pouring rain. I was looking for a place to get some good Spaghetti Carbonara and he called a friend to make sure his place was open. The restaurant was on his way so he walked me there and I traduced me to the owner. And meal was great.

Sante, our private tour guide, made our tour completely perfect. He is a wealth of knowledge and prepped us well. He knew many nooks and crannies to get us into where we were away from the crowds. Therefore many of our photos do not have other people in them. We got into a couple of private places of the Vatican museum so we could view the stunning art at our leisure. Sante answered every question we had and is a true historian of Roman culture and Christianity; explaining the priceless art in understandable terms for us novices!

Luigi the guide was formidable. He has a vast knowledge of the history of the Vatican and the Vatican. He gave us a detail explanation of everything we saw. He was courteous and friendly. We we’re able to stay closed to the thumb of Saint Peter!!
