We got off to a rough start. The tour operator grabbed the wrong bag of radios so several of us did not have ear radios through Pompeii. Our guide through Pompeii was absolutely amazing though. Positano was wonderful. I would have liked more time to explore the town. We had a wonderful lunch but it ate up a lot of our limited time in Positano.

Sarah was our guide and she was fantastic in giving us information and taking us to the locations we chose, plus the ones she found for us. She asked us what we wanted to see and she got us there and she sprinkled in some amazing locations along the path. It was a great way to either start or close a trip in Rome. We had a fantastic golf cart tour of Rome with Max! He was knowledgeable, energetic, kind, and brought the city’s history and landmarks to life with interesting facts and stories along the way. He also helped our group capture great photos and knew all the best picture spots. This tour was perfect for our multigenerational family, from a toddler to older adults. The golf cart was equipped with seat belts and weather protection, making it comfortable and safe. While the ride can be a bit bumpy, it’s by far one of the best ways to see a large number of Rome’s highlights in a short amount of time. A few tips: confirm the meeting point the day before, wear comfortable walking shoes since some stops require a short walk, and be punctual at both the start and each stop so the tour stays on schedule. We also appreciated the flexibility to skip a few sights when we were short on time. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. We would gladly book again!

My family of 4 had a fantastic time on the tour. The vans that we drove in were very comfortable, the tour of Pompeii was excellent, and the meal in Sorrento was delicious. Our Guide Made The Tour Phenomenal

The entire experience, start to finish, was phenomenal. Our guide was amazing. My wife is from Denmark and when he was told this ge spoke Danish to her at every opportunity. For a woman who English is a second language, this made her feel included and a real part of the small group. Our guide also spoke English in a tone and pace that was easy to follow, while digesting the history and magnitude of the site. Fantastic simply fails to capture how well he did on this tour. He was knowledgeable beyond reproach, and very personable.

The tour was quite comprehensive and moved at a good pace. I liked the size of the tour group and our guide (Marco) was engaging and fun. Meeting at Crown Tours was simple to find our group although an hour before the tour is a long time to stand around. The tour office has no where to sit, some air-conditioned space inside, no washroom facilities and although I understand the desire to have the group present and ready to go in advance of the tour, it was a long wait with little shade.

Roberto was fantastic. We had such an amazing day. Roberto picked us up and drove us out to mazzano Romano where we stopped at the local shops. We even had samples of meats at the butchers where all the meat came from their farm. The cooking location was amazing and Roberto was such an amazing teacher and chef. We can’t thank him enough for such an amazing day. Can’t wait to come back and do it again.
