This is a really fun way to escape the summer heat and enjoy lunch. The crew is excellent they have such enthusiasm for their jobs. The food and wine were plentiful. This is a hands on introduction to pizza and gelato making not a serious cooking class. We had a great afternoon.

Fun and good food for all ages.

We had so much fun doing this activity. Our host Cicco, was very entertaining and put everyone at ease. The time just flew past and the best part was getting to eat what we’d made. Even if you’re not an experienced cook, I think you would find it easy to follow. At the end we were given a card with a QR code to download the recipes so that you can recreate them at home.

Our family had an amazing day exploring Tuscany! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history and local insight that made every stop even more meaningful. Come hungry and leave happy!

Brian was an excellent and funny tour guide! He share many historical details around town and genuinely loved his job. There is plenty to eat along this 3 hour tour so come hungry! I don't think anyone should make strict plans after this tour since you will be food coma. You get to walk around the food hots in Trastevere and hit up some of the hard to get to places like da Enzo but its a smaller dish to sample so you have to go back for the main dishes. We are getting tastings as some of these places before it opens. Overall this was a great intro tour to the special Roman foods so you can try to get reservations to some of the places they took us to. The area gets more lively by end of the tour. The last place we went to was a historical landmark restaurant with PLENTY of pasta to go around! Wear comfy shoes due to the uneven streets. Meeting place was easy to find with their purple aprons or bags. The group size was manageable so you can still hear the guide talk. Loved this tour!

A highlight of our trip! Our guide, Dominica, was so friendly and shared lots of information about the restaurants we visited and the history of some of the food we ate. We were in a small group of 5 and the tour was a nice pace. They were easily able to accommodate a vegetarian diet. You get plenty of food, we were very full by the end. Would highly recommend this tour!!

Fun and educational experience

The cooking class was very educational. It gave my whole family a greater appreciation of the work that is put into hand made pasta and tiramisu. Our children, aged 12 and 8, were able to take part in all the activities just like the adults. The only thing they miss is the alcohol. The meal was delicious, especially the tiramisu. Our instructor chef, Martina, was friendly and helpful. We all had a great time. Give yourself an extra few minutes to make sure you find the address correctly.

The guide was fabulous and waited for two people who were over 20 minutes late so they could join. She shared so much history and the food was wonderful! We were so full at the end and it was a great experience to hear from an expert about what we were eating and why. On reviews I read, people complained about the artichokes, but we loved them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I booked a private food tour through Campo de’ Fiori, the Jewish Ghetto, and Trastevere during our honeymoon, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Isabella, was absolutely amazing. Having a private tour made the experience even more special because we were able to ask questions, move at a comfortable pace, and enjoy genuine conversations throughout the evening. Isabella was incredibly knowledgeable about Rome’s history, culture, and food traditions, and she made every stop feel personal and memorable. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We enjoyed authentic Roman specialties, incredible pasta, delicious fried street foods, and some of the best gelato we’ve ever had. Every stop was thoughtfully selected, and Isabella explained the history and significance behind each dish, making the experience so much more than just a food tour. Walking through Campo de’ Fiori, the Jewish Ghetto, and Trastevere while learning about the city’s history and culinary traditions was unforgettable. We left full, happy, and with a much deeper appreciation for Rome and its incredible food culture. If you’re visiting Rome, I cannot recommend this experience enough. What a fantastic experience. Myself, husband, sister and our 3 year old son were taken on this tour by Giancarlo and what an experience. We have had food tours in Italy before but this was by far the best. The food was amazing, the stops were educational but what made this tour stand out was the customer service. Giancarlo was not put off having a 3 year old on the tour and was his best friend by the time we had our Gelato! It wasn’t all about our son either, I told Giancarlo that I had just completed a history and classics degree and he went out of his way to make sure I got my fill off history as well as food.
