This was a very fun experience!! I was nervous but the cooking lesson wasn’t too hard. The instructor was very clear and kind when giving the lesson. The lesson was detailed on what to do and the chef gave us insight on Italian culture. The food and company was wonderful. We got to meet so many interesting people from different backgrounds.

What a great experience! Our group of 4 was part of a larger group (about 20 people total) but even then it was very engaging. Great directions from the instructor, easy to follow, and we had all that we needed. The result at the end was delicious. Great way to relax and unwind, while tasting some authentic food.

What To Expect

Choose from a range of start times throughout the day when booking; then, make your own way to the conveniently located cooking facility near Piazza Navona.

Once you've met your chef-host and fellow students, grab your apron and start with a lesson in making tiramisu. Next, learn to make two types of pasta from scratch: fettuccine and ravioli. Your instructor guides you as you make your ravioli filling from seasonally available ingredients.

After you've finished your cooking, sit down with a glass of wine to enjoy the fruits of your labor. End your experience with the tiramisu that you made yourself, as well as coffee and limoncello.

Instructor Lauri was good but the event was very structured. No wine or any drinks while you made the pasta. We were laughing and having fun and were told to quiet down cause it was disruptive to the group. Once the pasta was made we were rushed out of the restaurant, to the point where we ordered another glass of wine and they just took our glasses away. One wine was free with the event, the rest you had to pay for. No bang for the buck here. Not a fun group activity. Probably a good family event for those with children. We were not happy with the experience. .

We booked this class the day before and what a great decision it was! Leo was an incredible instructor, easy going, knowledgeable and up for a laugh! We had the absolute best time! It was a main highlight of our 4 week Europe holiday. We had never made pasta before, but know how to do it now and will be making it back home. The food was all incredible, even better than restaurants we ate at in Rome!
