Your cooking workshop begins in a charming restaurant in the heart of Rome, just steps from the iconic Piazza Navona.
Join a local Italian chef and your group for a hands-on experience where you learn to make fresh fettuccine from scratch, as well as a classic tiramisu.
Follow traditional Roman recipes with guidance from your instructor—no previous cooking experience is required.
After you’ve cooked, sit down and enjoy a meal with your classmates. Pasta dishes are paired with your choice of red or white wine. Your workshop ends with a limoncello or Italian coffee.

Sadly my flight had a 2 hour delay and I wasn’t informed within the 24 hour cancellation time. So instead of having five hours to arrive I only had three hours and knew I would be 45 minutes late. I did attempt to switch my class to the next class but the representative refused unless paid an additional 30€ or reschedule for the next day for 40€. I guess business is business. Don’t recommend booking unless sure you can make it because they don’t have any exceptions. Not sure if this is the restaurant or Viator but exceptions with proof should be considered.

We are truly sorry about the delay of your flight, and we completely understand how stressful travel disruptions can be, especially when they are outside of your control.
At the same time, our cancellation and rescheduling policies exist to respect the work and organization behind every class. Once a reservation is confirmed, spots are removed from sale and our chefs, assistants, ingredients, and stations are prepared specifically for each guest. Even if another class still has availability, moving a booking last minute creates operational costs and affects the planning of the experience.
Unfortunately, arriving 45 minutes late would also mean missing an important part of the class, including the guided preparation steps that cannot realistically be repeated separately without impacting the rest of the group experience.
We always try to help whenever possible and offer alternative solutions, but we also need to maintain fairness for all guests and for the staff working behind the scenes every day.
We truly appreciate your feedback and hope that despite this inconvenience you still enjoyed your time in Rome.

I booked this tour for my mum as a surpise, the chefs were brilliant, Lori and Lonnel and the class lasts 1.5hrs, however, after making the pasta it felt a little too Commercialised. A restaurant cooked the pasta in a kitchen whilst we sat and waited with the whole group on a long table, you do not learn how to make the sauce, and the staff serving the pasta weren't very friendly, I had to ask 3 times for a soft drink, I was gf (and was told I'd get different pasta but could take part in the class) and they gave me the gluten pasta initially, until I questioned it, when both of our pastas arrived they were only slightly warm, after the class the chefs leave and you're left in the hands of the restaurant which felt Commercialised compared to more intermediate classes I've taken in the past.

Regarding the service after the class, we are honestly surprised to read your comment. We collaborate with one of the most established and well known restaurants in the historic center of Rome, and they usually maintain very high standards. That said, we will absolutely share your feedback with them to improve coordination and guest experience.
As for the structure of the class, it is clearly explained that sauces are not prepared together due to Italian hygiene regulations and safety standards, as well as to keep the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. Our focus is on teaching you how to make fresh pasta and tiramisù completely from scratch, by hand, following traditional methods that you can easily recreate at home, just like our grandmothers used to do. This is what makes the experience both accessible and truly authentic.

We enjoyed this class very much! Paris was our chef instructor and she gave clear easy to follow instructions with demonstrations. She also checked our work as we went and gave meaningful feedback. Mary was an amazing instructor! Leo hosted a terrific class! We made fettuccine and ravioli in a simple way that I cant wait to try at home. No special equipment needed. The tiramisu making was a nice bonus. They cooked up our pasta for lunch and it was nice to relax and talk with the other fun folks in the class. I highly recommend Leo's pasta making class!!! After all the walking around at the landmarks this was a nice relaxing day.

Carlotta (I think that's how you spell it), was extrememly friendly and welcoming. My partner and I absolutely loved our experience. Carlotta was very good at explaining how to make the pasta and very helpful along the way. Would definitely recommend this experience, even if you have no interest in cooking, it's still quite interesting to see what work goes into the meals you'll be eating while in Italy. We had an amazing time, the cook/teacher was super friendly, had lots of patience to explain us the recipes and tricks in detail until we had all learned it, and made us have fun while cooking. The food ended up being super delicious, especially the tiramisu!

Maria was great! Very engaging and entertaining. We made fettuccine and tiramisu, glass of wine during dinner with limoncello after. Very good. The length of the activity was perfect and dinner was served quickly once we sat down.
