In Italy, the "pastificio" is a place where fresh pasta is made and sold to those who want to cook it at home. We have been inspired by the pasta that our grandmother made in the kitchen when we were child. It was a very special pasta and today we made our dream come true because we re proud to teach, right inside our "EX pastificio", the old Italian method for making pasta to hundreds of people who want to learn how to eat healthy pasta according to the true Italian tradition thus transmitting all the love and passion of our families. Today we dedicate all ourselves to organizing cooking classes of great value to teach how to make fresh artisan pasta in a simple and effective way, thus managing to make all the recipes of the lesson at home.

Amazing pasta class!

Amazing experience! Super fun teachers and great vibe. When you enter the music and vibes are set (fun 80/90 music). There was three bottles of wine given throughout the evening to our table (yummy). The pasta was fun and looked easy. The dessert was and quick. Im currently looking for the recipes they were sending out. Great time and would do again. And of course we ate our pastas, and dessert (amazinggg).

The first piece of advice, don't eat before you go. You'll miss out on all the yummy food. Your host (we had Francesca) will guide you through the two culinary dishes with flair and enthusiasm. Allowing you to feast on Italian made produce, sold if you want to buy in the experience. Pino, the pizza chef, expertly guides you on how to craft the perfect dough, turning it into the most enjoyable pizza you've tasted. As a family we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience, would try the pasta experience if we were in Rome again.

The experiance and information Michael gave us was so great!!! The stops were perfect.. I would say the stop at the family deli was the best!! It would have been nice to have a seating area as we enjoyed the offerings. But the tour was one of the top 3 for us.

Excellent walking food tour

We had an amazing experience on our walking tour. Our guide, Tracey, was exceptional and very knowledgeable. The walking is very manageable and the perfect pace between food stops to experience the Trastevere neighborhood. We tried numerous authentic Roman dishes while learning all about them, enhancing our experience. Bring an empty stomach for sure!

Absolutely incredible experience with our chef Leo. We could not have asked for a better experience! We can’t wait to try making our own pasta, ravioli and tiramisu. To note: we did only get 1 glass of wine and had to pay extra for others. Some reviews say you get multiple glasses.

So much history and fun!

This tour was recommended to us by a friend. It did not disappoint! Fabio is a history teacher and he shares his knowledge with us by giving us the history of the food we were enjoying. All of our food was amazing. He even offered vegan options for people that didn't want to eat the pork. We had plenty of wine and food topped off with Gelato for dessert. This is a walking tour, but not difficult. I would take this tour again!

We had Ramona who was incredible! The foods were amazing, asking her questions were helpful. She was very friendly, really knowledgeable, and we could tell we were getting authentic native foods. The Gelato was amazing and very different then most places we went and we learnt from her that’s because we weren’t getting authentic Gelato. Highly recommend!
