Julia did such a good job teaching and explaining. We had so much fun in our hour of class time. It was just something fun to do as we all LOVE our gelato!! Even the teens enjoyed themselves. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Quick and literally sweet.

Communication error between Viator messages and class operator made our class time confusing. We had not had a time change confirmed and Viator kept sending original time tickets to us. So, we assumed our time was one thing and class operator assumed another. We followed the Viator time and missed the class. Our class teacher was very sweet and did our class again anyway for just me and my daughter! It was fun! It was a great quick break out of the heat and inside learning about Gelato. We will surely come again next time we are in Rome with other people.

This class was very fun, the gal teaching was wonderful and knowledgeable. We made delicious Gelato! The only drawback was the price. Definitely overpriced; should be half of what they charge.

Julia was a great instructor and a great person! At the beginning the class didn’t start on time and we were a little confused if we were in the correct spot, but then everything worked out and it was a wonderful class! And get ready to eat gelato! So much gelato!

When in Rome, make gelato! There are lots of things to see in Rome, obviously, but with it being so hot out, this was a super fun experience. Vanessa was awesome and clearly takes pride in what she does. She explained the importance of certain ingredients and highlighted the art of making great gelato. Let’s be honest, you can find gelato anywhere in Rome, but you are missing out if you don’t try this gelato. If you don’t take this class, be sure to stop in and at least taste some of their gelato. It is to die for and the quality of the ingredients can’t be matched by other gelato places nearby. I don’t typically like Cherry, but it was incredible when we mixed it in our gelato. Also, the pistachio will knock your socks off!

Very basic

We were full of expectations, but actually it was a bit disappointed. First, we came to an english workshop and actually we were the only English speakers there, the others were Italian, so he did translate to English, but 80% of the time he spoke Italian so it wasn't so nice. We do learned how to make an ice cream, but it was really basic: the mix of milk, cream and sugar as a base, using an ice cream machine and than adding chocolate to make a chocolate chips ice-cream. I was there with my 13 years old daughter, and she wasn't enthusiastic at all. The place is a bit crowd and you need to stand during this hour. We paid for it 55 euros each, and i think that it was very expensive for this experience. The owner is very nice guy, has good English, and for sure he is a professional in this field of ice-cream production. He is very creative with his owm flavors of ice-cream that he has in his shop.
