Super fun experience for the whole family

Giulia led such a fun gelato workshop! We learned how gelato is made and participated in the steps before trying our own batch. Super fun for the whole family including teen and tween kids. Highly recommend!

So much fun! This was such a great experience. We started by making Feor de Latte or the base to all gelato. Afterwards, she taught us how each gelato gets its flavor and the process of adding flavors. After making and eating our gelato, we also got to sample the different flavors found in the shop.

Our host was excellent with the children and after learning about gelato, when choosing a gelato place after we didn't miss. Before we had some that were not great and learned that they were not real gelato. I highly recommend this experience!

Chef Joelle was absolutely fantastic! What an incredible experience. This was a cultural exposition to the art of gelato as well as a hands on and engaging process. This was a lovely thing to do. It is quite pricey for what it is but the kids enjoyed it. We didn’t get to to try too Much gelato. Three tastings plus a tasting of the one we made. But it was fun.

Joel was amazing! He took extra time and effort to make sure our kids had a once in a lifetime experience in making Gelato in Rome. He was very careful with allergies and spoke in a way the kids understood and loved it. After being in London, Paris and Rome the kids favorite part of the trip was making Gelato. That says it all. Can't thank Joel enough.

Joe was great! Our kids are 16, 14 and 11, and this was something different, easy and fun to do. It was a good mix of demonstration, Q& A, and hands on help. We even got to try a few different flavors from his shop when we finished. Highly recommend!

Exceptional quality ice cream

Learnt a lot about ice cream making and the team were really helpful. The flavours of ice cream were unusual and really delicious. I had expected the experience to be more hands on and to have a choice about the flavours we were to make. The quality of the ice cream and our hosts knowledge were exceptional though.

Très belle expérience sucrée! Le propriétaire de la gelateria a pris le temps de nous expliquer comment faire une base simple de gelato et de répondre à nos questions. Nous étions deux familles de trois et c’était parfait comme groupe. Très bon rapport qualité-prix comme activité.
