My husband and I did this in Nov! It was the best time ever!!! Fiammetta was amazing, and we were lucky enough to have her to our selves! Learning about making the dough for pizzas and tiramisu! And making it, which both were so delicious! The wine, 🍷 so much! We laughed so much and had the best time! We will be back in Rome and I hope to do this again, or visit with her again! I can not rave about this event enough!!! We have made this at home and can not rave about it enough and being able to bring a part of Italy (our favorite place ever) home with us!!! Thank you so much!!! Hope to see you again on our yearly visits!

This class was so much fun! Highly recommend with kids. Julia was a lovely host & guide, and the restaurant was a nice setting and centrally located. Both the pizza and tiramisu were delicious. It's a great way to break up your typical touring and have lunch or dinner at the same time.

Fun experience with the family. Met some really great people visiting Rome for the first time as well in our class. The pizza was cooked to perfection and was the highlight for me and my son. My wife and daughter really enjoyed the tiramisu.

It's a great experience Mattie was funny and very informative instructor. Great to do with a party or friends, and the pizza and dessert was delicious.

I really enjoyed this class. You do make your own personal pizza. However, the tiramisu and dough making process is done as a group with setup for one. The pizza dough you work with for your personal pizza is already created prior to getting there. That makes sense because of how long the dough should sit. We had an amazing group! The course space was tight, so it may be difficult to navigate if you have different abilities or are larger in size. Still had a great time.

I booked a 10 AM pizza/tiramisu making class with my children ages nine and 11. It was the perfect way to start the new year. We stopped at the Trevi fountain before starting our tour. Carlo was our chef/guide and was so much fun! We started with making tiramisu and the pizza making was afterwards. It was great to have our lunch ready by noon. I highly recommend this experience if you are travel traveling with children. Couples also seem to enjoy this experience as well.

We love our pizza and tiramisu chef, Julia! She was very personable and gave us individual coaching as we needed. She made the environment, fun and easy. It was one of the highlights for us in Rome! Thank you, Julia!

Nicely done. Matteo was friendly and knowledgeable. Class size was perfect - not too many people so all could learn and interact.

Mattia was amazing. Polite, friendly and a great teacher. Tiramisu was wonderful. Pizza making was a fantastic time. All the ingredients were delicious.
Lori_J, Oct 2025
Our cooking teacher was Mattia and he was very knowledgeable and fun. He worked really hard to ensure we had a great experience. He managed 12 people on his own, keeping our wine glasses full and interacting with everyone. We sat, drank and ate for about 3 hours. Lots of fun and would do it again.

I booked the course as a surprise for my boyfriend. We had a wonderful evening. Mattia was a an incredible patient and skilled coach, help us with every step and answered all of our questions.
Making the Tiramisu was easy and getting a feeling for a good pizza dough was incredible.
Both tasted very good in the end.
There could have been a little more wine, but at the end, it was ok.
We recommend everyone to try this experience. We'd love to do it again.
A big thank you to Mattia.

On our recent trip to Italy, I booked two cooking experiences for my family to enjoy, one for pasta and this one for pizza (because of my two sons who love pasta and pizza.)
This event turned out to be a private cooking lesson - because my family were the only four people in the class. The class took place in the back of a working pizzeria, which was a little awkward at first having people eating a few tables away but since we were there between lunch time and dinner, we soon enough had the back of the place to ourselves. The host (I apologize but I have forgotten her name) was very charming, knowledgeable and helpful. She had all of us involved in making Tiramisu and homemade pizza. It turned out to be a lot of fun and a great bonding experience for my family! We cooked, ate and laughed together through the whole experience and our host was terrific!

We a fun experience!! Our teacher Julia was the absolute BEST!! The restaurant was so nice and we learned so much. We loved that we left with the recipes to try at home. What a fun day!

Fiammy was so knowledgable and was happy to share her tips and tricks. She also kept it fun the whole time. Wine was free flowing and topped up regularly. The pizza and tiramisu was amazing. Took our teenagers and they all loved the experience!

We made the best of our time in this class because we try to stay positive during our travels, but do not expect an Italian culinary experience.
The class was taught by a young gentleman that had no cooking experience and did not work at the restaurant. He said he worked in the tour companies office but liked being around people, so he did classes on the side.
The class started late and seemed a bit disorganized. We had one unexperienced gentleman trying to do everything. He had to set up the class, act as the waiter, teach the class, bus the table, clean up, etc. No one from the restaurant assisted at all. The tour company is using part of the back dining room of the restaurant. We actually had other diners sitting just a few feet away as we were doing our class.
We were introduced to the ingredients but no real insight into explaining the ingredients and their Italian heritage (lady fingers, marscarpone, 00 flour, some of the cured meats etc).
The tiramisu was average at best, the pizza was good. Plan your night accordingly, we were suppose to start at 6:30 and did not finish our tiramisu until 10:30.
One positive was the free flowing wine they market in their ad. But be cautious if you have children (we had two with us), multiple guests were very intoxicated after 4 hours of drinking!
Lisa_A, Jul 2025
The cooking class was a lot of fun. I had a lot of specific questions and Fammy was lovely. I only have 2 suggestions. The class was held in the back part of a restaurant - not owned by the class organizers. A very large party/tour bus came in about half way through the class and was seated right next to where we were learning. It was difficult to hear - and kind of weird because they were taking pictures of us. Second, I still have not gotten the pizza dough recipe that I have requested 4 times. We were told not to worry about writing things down - so I didn't. I still don't have it. The instruction and food was great!

This was such a fun class!! Mia was a great host and teacher! We were celebrating our daughter's 15th birthday that day and they went out of their way to make it special for her! I would highly recommend this class! We had 12 people ages 10 to 73 and everyone had a blast!

Superb!! No words can describe what a fun time we had! Probably the best tour we took in Rome! Our teacher Elena was so great!! She was engaging and energetic. Our whole family had a blast and the pizza and tiramisu turned out so delicious! Wine included and the cooking experience was the best!! Don’t miss this while in Rome and great for kids and adults alike.
