My husband and I did this in Nov! It was the best time ever!!! Fiammetta was amazing, and we were lucky enough to have her to our selves! Learning about making the dough for pizzas and tiramisu! And making it, which both were so delicious! The wine, 🍷 so much! We laughed so much and had the best time! We will be back in Rome and I hope to do this again, or visit with her again! I can not rave about this event enough!!! We have made this at home and can not rave about it enough and being able to bring a part of Italy (our favorite place ever) home with us!!! Thank you so much!!! Hope to see you again on our yearly visits!

What an excellent experience! This is great for a group of friends just having a good time. Who knew making pizza would be so much fun! The staff were friendly, courteous and welcoming. This is a must for all while in Rome!
This experience far exceeded our expectations. It was a very personal experience as we were put in groups of 5-6 with all the wine we wanted, and samples of local cheese and sauces with no pressure to buy. Our table of 5 came in 3 pairs and a single, ages 79 to 27, but really felt like family by the end of the night. Can't recommend highly enough!!!!
The experience was phenomenal!
Matt our instructor was professional and patient with the group which made the experience enjoyable.
While the female instructor was exceptionally kind, personable, and lovely, this experience felt more like an assembly-line demonstration than a true cooking class. I was also disappointed that we had to sit at a restaurant table with strangers, and the overall organization fell short. I was hoping to learn the actual skills—such as mixing ingredients, learning exact measurements, understanding baking times and temperatures, and running the ice cream machine—so I could replicate the process at home. Instead, the dough and gelato ingredients were entirely premade and measured out in advance, with staff taking over most of the hands-on steps. It is impossible to take what the class offered and apply it at home as you don’t know how to cook the pizza, how long to run the gelato in the ice cream machine, etc. It didn't compare to the sushi, miso soup, and ramen classes I did in Japan where we actually did EVERYTHING ourselves. You can’t call this a cooking class when we didn’t actually cook anything :-(. I am extremely disappointed and saddened the class wasn’t an actual cooking class.
A very fun activity to spend some time off your feet. We really enjoyed our time learning how to make pizza and gelato, and everything we made tasted great! Time went by quickly while chatting with other guests, and Luca, Lucas, and Chef Dino were helpful and entertaining.
My only note was that it was on the warmer side doing the pizza class, and the pasta class in the same building had better A/C so temper your expectations.
Not as much hands on as I’d like. Lots of down time. Just didn’t seem like an Italian experience. I’d skip it and do a pasta excursion to Frascrati instead.
We didn’t even make it past the welcome… first there was vomit in the women’s sink, the we were crammed into a booth with strangers, there wasn’t nearly enough cooking stations for everyone… no thanks. We got up and left before it even started. And it smelled disgusting in the “restaurant”. We got sandwiches down the street. Don’t book this it’s a crappy tourist trap
Fun tour...pizza, gelato, and bottomless wine with an Irish-Italian. My wife, 2 adult sons, and I had the best time.
Mattea and Valentina were amazing chefs! They were so personal and generous our entire cooking experience. Our family of 4 adults had such an enjoyable time the whole afternoon. And the food we cooked was the best! Thank you for such great memories!
The first piece of advice, don't eat before you go. You'll miss out on all the yummy food. Your host (we had Francesca) will guide you through the two culinary dishes with flair and enthusiasm. Allowing you to feast on Italian made produce, sold if you want to buy in the experience. Pino, the pizza chef, expertly guides you on how to craft the perfect dough, turning it into the most enjoyable pizza you've tasted. As a family we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience, would try the pasta experience if we were in Rome again.
We had the absolute best time at this pizza-making class! It was the perfect blend of fun, learning, and delicious food. The hosts were incredibly energetic, welcoming, and patient with all of us as we learned the secrets to making authentic Roman pizza. Rolling out the dough and picking our own toppings was incredibly fun, and eating our creations straight out of the oven was unforgettable.
We absolutely LOVED our Tiramisu and Pizza making class in Rome!
It was so much fun and we made lifelong memories. The whole experience was welcoming, relaxed, and hilarious — our teacher was one of a kind! I’m so embarrassed I can’t remember his name, but I’ve included a photo so you’ll know him when you see him. He was incredibly friendly, full of great tips, and kept us all laughing the entire time.
The cooking tips were fab and we actually learned proper techniques we’ll use at home. The quality of the food and wine was superb — and eating the pizza and tiramisu we made ourselves was the best part!
100% recommend. If you only do one food experience in Rome, make it this one.
Fantastic. We had a great host (Francesca) who made things fun and high energy. Everyone had a role in the family and the food was fantastic. Considering you get three hours of entertainment plus wine plus dinner plus dessert it’s a great value.
This class was fun and music was great. We had gelato as a group. The dough was premade for us and we were able to put our own sauce and toppings on it. It was a very big class so that’s why it takes the full 3 hours. The appetizers and wine they gave were so good! The Gelato flavors were fresh and rich!
Truthfully, we didn’t actually get to “cook” because everything was measured out for us already for the gelato (first thing we did). Then the staff took it to the ice cream machine. Also, We had to share jobs with others in class, for example, one cuts, while another person takes the temperature etc. the pizza was just assembled by us (we added the toppings) and we only got to mess with the dough for a tiny bit. Overall, it was not a true cooking experience so I think it was over priced. If I had paid way less then it wouldn’t be a big deal, but it was expensive and not worth it. We didn’t even get to cook the pizza in the oven ourselves. The staff is super friendly! I’m just talking about the experience on the cooking class part. Wish I didn’t pay so much for what we did.
We had an absolute blast taking this class! Highly recommend! Very fun, educational and entertaining!
I travel for work, and for my third time visiting Rome, I was looking for something a little more interactive to do than just another history tour. I was originally supposed to be a part of the 3:30 Pizza/Tiramisu class, but had to switch to the 6:30 where I luckily met a great group of people to share the night with as a solo traveler. Our instructor was Valleria. She was a wonderful teacher who balanced showing us the steps with allowing us to get out hands messy--literally! She had great knowledge of our class and could expand on Italian cuisine and culture as a whole. She took care of all of us from greeting to goodbye. Her sparkling wit (and the wonderful meal at the end, of course) make the night truly unforgettable. Would highly recommend sharing a evening with her making delicious pizza and tiramisu! I personally would like to take the gelato class the next time I come back to Rome, but I feel this is a class everyone should experience no matter how many time they're able visit the city.
Very basic course, demonstration and not hands on experience, nice atmosphere but you cannot really learn how to make pizza nor icecreame…
This is a really fun way to escape the summer heat and enjoy lunch. The crew is excellent they have such enthusiasm for their jobs. The food and wine were plentiful. This is a hands on introduction to pizza and gelato making not a serious cooking class. We had a great afternoon.
We had an excellent time learning how to make pizza dough and gelato
We met people from South Africa, Brazil and LosAngeles
We had a fantastic time learning to make pizza and tiramisu with Matia. It was a lot of fun, and we even had wine. He explained everything very well.
It was the best experience we had in Rome . A must do for everyone . I hope I am getting the name right Matt , was so good and made it so much fun . Loved it a lot . My kids had a super fun time .
This was a lot of fun and we made some new friends. Who doesn’t like pizza and wine! Our leader was awesome!
We had an amazing time at this pizza and tiramisu cooking class! It was such a fun and inclusive experience, and our instructor, Dominica, was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome. The food turned out absolutely delicious, and we left with great memories and recipes we can’t wait to make again. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing time at the pizza and gelato making class! It was one of the highlights of our family’s trip to Rome. The instructors were patient, engaging, and made the experience fun for both adults and our two young kids.
The kids loved getting hands-on making their own pizzas and learning how authentic Italian gelato is made. Everything was well organized, interactive, and relaxed, and we walked away with new skills, full stomachs, and wonderful memories.
Great instruction and terrific and product. Teacher was great! Made sure we understood all steps and sent us home with great recipes.
This was a very fun and engaging Pizza and Tiramisu making class... Matt (Mateo) was an awesome host, chef and teacher, walking us through each of the steps during our cooking class, while also making sure our glasses stayed full throughout the experience. We had a great time with a couple other people joining the class, making it very relaxing, while we prepared dough from scratch, and then set up our pizzas with fresh toppings. The result of our work was to then enjoy the delicious pizza (which came out amazing) and Tiramisu in great company.
Definitely worth looking into this tour if you want an immersive experience that gets you out of the typical tourist sites.
Absolutely brilliant experience. Mateo the chef was brilliant. A definite must do when visiting Rome.
This cooking class was amazing Valeria was awesome she was very detailed in her presentation thank you
Loved this!! Met wonderful people and our pizza chef and teacher were so fun and kind! Can’t recommend this enough! A must do when visiting!
