Arrive 10 minutes early at Via Cesare Balbo 19, near Hotel 77—look for the “Rome with Chef” sign. Late arrivals won’t be admitted or refunded. The meeting point may change slightly; if so, we’ll notify you in advance. Both locations are within a 5-minute walk.

- This experience isn’t suitable for infants. If they join, they must stay on an adult’s lap since no separate seat or workspace is available.
- Please note that due to the menu we prepare during the class, we are unable to accommodate participants who have coeliac disease, gluten intolerance, and/or follow a vegan diet. We also cannot accommodate lactose intolerance as we use dairy products.
- If you have any dietary restrictions please let us know in advance so we can figure out how to best accommodate your needs.
- Participants under 18 will be served soft drinks instead of alcoholic beverages.

The cooking class was such an incredible experience—honestly the perfect way to spend an evening. It struck that sweet spot between fun and genuinely educational, without ever feeling too serious or overwhelming.
Esqui & Gio MADE this class, their energy was amazing, and it felt like one of those “core memory” travel moments.
The spritzes? Next level. Every single one was delicious and thoughtfully made—definitely not your average drink situation. And the pasta… unreal. Not only did we get to enjoy it, but we actually learned techniques and tips that made everything feel approachable to recreate later, which made it even more special.
If I had one small suggestion, it would be to offer take-home recipe cards. They were too good not to remember, and it would be such a cute touch to bring a little piece of the experience home.
Overall, such a fun, memorable, and worthwhile activity—would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to add something special to their evening. 🍝✨🍹

What a great night thanks to Jem! I’m a terrible cook and Jem made it a fun and informative experience. Pasta was delicious and sitting at table with other travelers was a great way to finish the class. Very generous servings of pasta and lots of spritzes too. Highly recommended and hopefully you get Jem as your cook and Z as host!

If you are looking for an upbeat, high-energy, and completely delicious experience, Kelly and her team are it! From the second class started, the energy was incredible. Kelly gave clear, step-by-step instructions and was right there with hands-on help whenever anyone needed it, making everyone feel completely comfortable.
To top it all off, the spritzers were flowing the entire time! Not only did we get to enjoy them throughout the class, but they also shared the exact directions so we can recreate the perfect spritz at home.
Such a great class, fantastic hosts, and an amazing vibe. Thank you, Kelly and team! I can't recommend this enough!

Kelly was awesome! She really knew a lot about cooking (maybe she went to culinary school), she was very well spoken in English and she was just a great time! She was super fun and attentive to the group. She made this a good experience for the whole group and connected us together as well as to Italy. I would come back to do this because of her. Etge was very sweet and greatest us when we arrived. She kept everything running smoothly together with Kelly.

This was one of the best experiences of our entire Mediterranean cruise! The class was so much fun and had the perfect mix of hands-on cooking and a social atmosphere. We learned how to make fresh pasta from scratch while mixing and enjoying three different spritz cocktails along the way.
The instructors were energetic, funny, and made everyone feel comfortable, whether you had cooking experience or not. It felt more like spending an afternoon with friends than taking a cooking class. The cocktails were delicious, the pasta turned out amazing, and the overall vibe was upbeat and interactive.

The class was well run and the resulting meal and cocktails were all delicious. I could tell the instructor and assistant and assistant (Beliza and Sare - sp?) were fully concentrated on giving us a wonderful experience. It was a very fun learning experience and atmosphere, plus quite memorable.

We had an amazing time at this cooking class! Chef Jem was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience both fun and informative. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and he did a great job guiding everyone through each step while sharing helpful tips along the way. We learned how to make authentic carbonara and cacio e pepe, and we also got to enjoy making three different types of spritz, which was a fun addition to the experience. Kelly and Kimmy were great! Kelly was really helpful and patient in working with us regarding the making of pasta. Kimmy made sure we had what we needed at all times to make 3 different type of spritzers-with a to go cup ready for the 3rd one!
Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a fun night, with an authentic pasta dinner and drinks to boot!

Loved loved loved our cooking class with Kelly! Kelly was funny, sweet, and a lovely teacher! She encouraged us all to talk and make friends and by the end of class all three of us couples who knew nothing about eachother, ended up exchanging socials! And walking out of there together, a few of us even went for drinks after! The portions were large and the music was music-ing and the drinks were flowing! The food ended up being yummy and the vibes and atmosphere were amazing! Shoutout to Kelly being the best teacher, and shout out to Mary for keeping our drinks full all night!

We booked the Tipsy Pasta cookery course on a bit of a whim and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed and genuinely fun. Jem, the chef, and Gabi, the host, were both excellent, very welcoming, easygoing and good at making everyone feel comfortable straight away. It never felt formal or intimidating, even for complete beginners like us.
The evening itself was great fun. Plenty to drink from the start, lots of laughs, and the food was genuinely very good. I think we got through about five fairly generous cocktails over the course of the evening. Jem explained everything in a really relaxed and approachable way, and we actually came away feeling confident we could make the pasta again at home. The recipes were delicious but also realistic enough to recreate afterwards.
What really made it work was the atmosphere. Everyone was chatting and enjoying themselves within minutes, and it felt very natural rather than forced. We haven’t done things like this before, but we’d absolutely do it again. It’s a really good way to start an evening and felt much more memorable than just going out for dinner. Definitely ask for Jem and Gabi if you can, they made the experience what is was.

Absolutely the MOST amazing class ever!! Sunny was hilarious, kept everyone engaged, and somehow got all the guys participating nonstop. I was laughing the entire time while still learning so much. This is an activity we scheduled for our last day in Rome and I am so glad we did! This class was the perfect size for everyone to feel included and interact with each other. My friend, who is not a fan of cooking, even had a great time. The instructor was very hands on and personable with lots of knowledge. The transitions during class were well timed and allowed for laughter, drinking and conversation. The recipes were easy to follow and the end result was delicious. I would highly recommend this class for anyone interested or on the fence about doing it!

Beliza was an amazing cooking instructor!! She helped everyone in the class and was patient when things went sideways. The drinks were fun to make and she kept the fun going the whole time! The pasta you make gets cooked and we got two choices of sauce. I chose carbonara and it was delicious. This whole experience was definitely worth it
