Meet your pasta class hosts directly outside the Frascati train station for the scenic walk through the old town to a historic wine cellar, where you’ll relax over a tasting of Frascati Superiore DOCG and Vagnolo wines produced in their family vineyard.
After enjoying a selection of wines paired with local appetizers, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get to work preparing fresh pasta from scratch with the guidance of your chef instructor. Opt to prepare one of three classic Roman pasta dishes: cacio e pepe, carbonara; or amatriciana.
End your lesson with a sit-down dinner featuring the pasta you’ve prepared, served with local wines. After dinner, take a peek at the caves hidden below the wine cellar before the walk back to the train station.

Of a 2 week Italy vacation this was a favorite for our group. It was very easy to get to the village from the Rome train station. Niko was very informative about the history of the area. Making the pasta was soooo fun. The wine was delicious and so was the meal. Truly it was the best pasta I have ever had. Next time I’m in Rome I will definitely be booking this again!!

This was an outstanding experience! From the arrival at Frascati train station and the historical tour of the town walking to their location; to their delicious wines (1 white and 1 red) tasted with cheese and meat; watching them assemble tiramisu and then learning hands-on how to make pasta from scratch; touring the ancient wine cellar and finally eating our pasta with one of 3 sauces-- fabulous! They're wonderful hosts with a good grasp of English and we met delightful people alongside us from across the US and Europe. Highly recommend. Grazie mille!
My husband and I had such a wonderful time at this pasta-making and wine-tasting class! From the lively atmosphere to the excellent wine and absolutely amazing pasta, the entire experience was a highlight of our trip to Italy. We especially enjoyed learning a little history of the Frascati area during the walk from the train station to the venue, which made the experience feel even more special and authentic.
The wine was excellent, the food pairings were delicious, and making fresh pasta from scratch was so much fun. Everything came together for a fantastic evening of great food, wine, history, and fun.
We would do this experience again and again, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Rome area. If you're looking for a memorable taste of local Italian culture and a break from the crowds in Rome, don't miss this one!

Beautiful venue, wine was amazing, and she was able to teach even the worst cooks (me) how to make delicious pasta. My cousins and I could not stop talking about how beautiful the city was and how much fun we had the entire time!
What a fun tour- traveled by train 2 stops from Rome to Frascati. A beautiful small town to a family shop to taste their wine and make pasta. Great atmosphere and fun, laughs and a good time. Loved it!
We did several tours during our stay in Italy, and this was by far the most fun! Our table was small enough that we ended up making friends with our fellow pasta makers. Delicious wine at super affordable prices too. Frascati is a fun little break from the crazy amounts of tourists in Rome too.

Amazing experience!! Totally went above our expectations in all aspects. Started with some light history of Frascati, and learned about the family winery. The wine was amazing, and would recommend taking some bottles home with you. The pasta making experience was so fun! Gluten free friendly as well, which was amazing for my partner.
The staff are so welcoming, and they typically have smaller, more intimate group sizes so you really get to learn everything and ask questions.

I cannot imagine any pasta class that would be more fun. The girls are so fun!! And you learn history about Frascati. This was my second time.
However get a class earlier in the day and make sure you have train tickets to and from. The train is part of the experience...

An unforgettable family experience. It's interesting to get to know the place and the family history, as well as learning how to make pasta in a warm, fun and very professional atmosphere.
This was our second time to Rome (two different years, two different cruise trips). Since we did a lot of the sightseeing on our first trip, we were looking for something different to do this time. I am so glad we chose this experience. Although I was nervous to take a train out of the city, it turned out to be a good experience. When we arrive to Frascati, it was a cute little town. We really enjoyed the pasta making and wine tasting with this family-owned company. It was one of my favorite things we did this visit to Rome.
It was totally worth the time and money. Beautiful hostesses. Wine and pasta wonderful. Great new friends.
Picturesque town, amazing wine, fun pasta class and a delicious dinner….what’s not to like? It’s an absolute gem of an experience and the family who does the tour is wonderful.
The pasta making, family winery, catacomb tour were all fantastic. Unfortunately, there was a strike on the train that affected our ability to be on time so the transportation to get there became really difficult and expensive. In hindsight, I would recommend getting to the Roma termini early. There is shopping there. Or head to the town early before your pasta making event to explore a little.

This was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Nico welcomed us into his hometown and took us on a fascinating walking tour, sharing its history from the train station all the way to his family’s home, which has been in their family for generations.
We learned about their family’s winemaking tradition and even explored the incredible underground tunnel system beneath the houses, where wine was once stored in ancient cellars. It was such a unique and authentic experience.
The pasta-making class was fantastic. Nico and his cousin were warm, patient, and passionate teachers. We learned how to make four different types of fresh pasta and chose from four delicious sauces to pair with them.
The meal at the end was simply unforgettable. With fresh truffle added on top, it was undoubtedly the best pasta I’ve ever had.
