Great tour. No BS. Would go again.

Giorgio was awesome. He grew up beside the Colosseum and was very knowledgeable. He took time to stop at major landmarks and take questions and seemed eager to educate. They made the pre-tour process simple and outlined everything needed in advance. We got to skip most of the lines. I took my wife, she loved it. I would highly reccomend to anyone that needs an English tour guide.

Excellent Day Tour of Pompeii, Positano, and Lemoncello Tasting

We had an abbreviated tour of Pompeii - 1 1/2 hours instead of the 3 hours for a full tour. Fine with me but you should know. Our tour guide, Cosmo (Coco) was great - friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. But he only played the Sorrento song, didn’t sing it. (That's a joke he'll understand if he sees this.)

Flavio rocks!

Super well run tour, efficient but not rushed. Took needs into consideration but even if you didn’t need the bathroom at the service station, it didn’t hardly add anything to the day and you could buy delicious looking sandwiches, snacks, drinks, or dessert. The Pompeii guides were very knowledgeable and personable.

Lived my Tuscan dream!

The trip gave me exactly what I wanted but the one hour walking tour was quite challenging for an 80 year old woman with arthritis. And made worse because in the early rush I forgot my cane and my sturdy walking shoes. But so many people were helpful. The “brochure” just says “not wheelchair accessible.” These are hilly hilltop villages. I skipped walking the second one and just sat and people watched. I was so happy to have driven through and seen as much as we did. This was a 12-hour day and very affordable for the experience. Francesca and driver Antonio were delightful. I loved how our walking tour guide Klaus (from Stuttgart) told us how he came to Italy and stayed. He told us about his life in la Toscana. Highly recommend and am looking forward to my upcoming Amalfi tour.

The opportunity and experience of a lifetime !

Be prepared for an experience of a lifetime from a guide with more information than most university professors. There are a few physical requirements for walking the entire tour, heat during the summer, uneven footing throughout and stairs plus loud crowd noise. These are minor inconveniences for the experience but should be considered. DO NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME, JUST DO IT ! If you are lucky enough to have Georgia as a guide it is a double bonus!

This tour was prompt. After the tour you are free to continue to explore on your own. Our guide was originally from Georgia , so her English was fantastic. She was passionate, very educated, and funny. She really took the time to give you the history and the meaning behind what you were going to see. It was a group tour but she made it seem more like a personal experience. Totally recommend.

I think anyone that...

I think anyone that DOESN’T use a guided tour of the Pantheon and Coliseum is doing it wrong. There is just too much to know and see to do it without an expert. The tour was well structured, the guide was very knowledgeable - and we definitely got the full experience without feeling rushed or like we missed out. Walking tours are my favorite for getting true value out of a historic place (vs. a singular sight/cool vantage point such as a mountain or a canyon). This one definitely didn’t let me down and I recommend it to everyone that intends to visit Rome. One thing I’d note for those who use Viator and go on different tours is to look at your options in relation to the premium spots/restricted areas. We did not have direct access to the underground portion or the top of the coliseum (which I believe is relatively new to being open to the public). I think those would’ve been amazing too but they were booked well in advance and we didn’t get the chance to jump into one of those groups. Enjoy!

If you like Roman...

If you like Roman history, you can't get much more Roman than this. The audioguide provided quite a lot of good context for the stuff you see across the three sites that you wouldn't normally get from the placards on site, just be sure to bring your headphones/earbuds of course. Be prepared to do a lot of hiking across the Palatine Hill and bring a water bottle, but overall good value for money I'd say

Villa d’Este is awe-inspiring

Fantastic insight into Roman society 2000 years ago at Hadrian’s Villa (palace) and 1800’s at Villa d'Este, which has been on my bucket list since I learned about Italian landscape design at university. Totally worth the visit despite the punishing heat in August. The hydrological engineering & use of what starts as a tiny water source into multiple fountains & sculptures without use of pumps or electricity is awe-inspiring & spectacular. Definitely a highlight of my trip.
