Your day trip to Pisa and Florence begins with hotel pickup in Rome and transport for you and your group by bus to Pisa. Explore the sights on Piazza dei Miracoli on your own for about an hour with your prebooked tickets—including the cathedral, baptistery, and cemetery—plus snap photos of the famous leaning tower from outside. Then board the bus to continue on to Florence.
Once you arrive in Florence, spend an hour of free time stretching your legs and shopping before meeting your group and guide at the Accademia Gallery to take in Michelangelo’s iconic “David”. Afterwards, take a walking tour of the city to cover A-list sights like the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria while learning about Florentine history and architecture. Board the bus for a final stop at Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the view over the city before the drive back to Rome.

Our full day private tour was exceptionally led by our Tour Leader, Nariman and conveniently provided by our driver Roberto. They were professional, thoughtful, and accommodating every step of the way. Nariman’s wealth of knowledge and recommendations made the experience personable. The minivan was clean and the AC was perfect. They cultivated a friendly ambiance for the entire family. We recommend the experience, A+!

I almost canceled this excursion because of the long drive from Rome, and I am so grateful that I didn’t. It ended up being our favorite tour of the entire trip!
Our driver, Artur, was outstanding. The ride was smooth, comfortable, and safe, and with a rest stop halfway both to Tuscany and on the return trip, the drive was much easier than expected.
Our tour leader, Nariman, made the hours fly by. He is incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating history, stories, and fun facts throughout the journey that kept everyone engaged. He also proudly called himself the “best photographer,” and he absolutely lived up to that title! He happily took countless photos for everyone throughout the day and made sure we all had wonderful memories to bring home.
Pisa completely exceeded my expectations. Pictures simply do not do it justice. The Piazza dei Miracoli is breathtaking, and every building is stunning. One of the most unforgettable moments was inside the Baptistry when our guide requested a demonstration of its incredible acoustics. A staff member stepped into the center and sang, and hearing her beautiful voice echo throughout the building gave me chills. It was one of the most moving experiences of our entire vacation.
Florence was equally amazing. Before we even arrived, Nariman made restaurant reservations for us so we didn’t have to waste our free time waiting for a table. That thoughtful gesture allowed us to enjoy over two hours exploring this incredible city.
Our Florence guide, Luis, was fantastic. His passion for Florence, its history, and Michelangelo was obvious in every story he shared. He didn’t just recite facts. He brought the city to life and made us appreciate what we were seeing so much more.
The perfect ending to an already incredible day was when Artur drove us up to Piazzale Michelangelo for the panoramic overlook of Florence. Standing there, looking out across the entire city, was absolutely breathtaking and the perfect finale to an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to Artur, Nariman, and Luis for creating memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re debating whether this tour is worth the long drive from Rome, don’t hesitate. It was the most memorable excursion of our vacation, and I would book it again in a heartbeat.

Nariman and Roberto were INCREDIBLE!!! The tour is incredibly long at 14 hours, including 7 hours of drive time, but with these two leading the way, it didn’t feel that way. Nariman is incredibly knowledgeable and hilarious and has a way of brining people together for memories that will last a lifetime.

Our pilot driver Roberto is really a gentleman. Greeting whenever meeting. And what shall I say about our tour guide - Nariman. He knows soooo much about Italy even though he is not from Italy. Really gets excited like a kid about art, geography. He guides you for your shopping too. And lastly, he is a gem of a human being as he brought water bottles in this summer for the entire group and really took awesome care of our baby. He is baby approved tour guide.

This was a great trip to Florence. Our driver, Luigi, and our tour guy Maria, were awesome. They were very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were very flexible with time while keeping us on schedule.
This was a tour t with my wife and my two kids, 12 and 14 years old and they learned some great history facts.
I will highly recommend tour and would love to have Maria and Luigi on my next one.

This is definitely a life-goal. I was able to see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and the David sculpture. Our guides were so knowledgeable and passionate about their jobs. Maria was my main your guide and she was lovely. I went with my mom, and she's not as young as she used to be. But Maria kept checking in on her. And she noticed that I was the only one who took pictures of my mom, and so Maria offered to take some pictures of me. A simple thing as that is so valuable for me because she was gentle and really paid attention.
Anyway, I recommend getting whatsapp as well in case you need to contact the tour guide. I went to explore a little and couldn't see the group. Luckily, she had messaged the night before, so I was able to contact her and met up with her quickly.
I forgot the tour guide in Florence, but he was great as well. The driver was an awesome driver too.

Everything was top notch, starting from Rome to Pisa, Florence and back to Rome!! Excellent tour guide in Florence!! Maria gave us so much information while driving and took us through Pisa we enjoyed all the information she gave us while on our trip!! An excellent choice of restaurant she picked for our lunch, she even walked with us through Florence and it was very hot!! I can’t say enough about Luigi he is an excellent driver loves music and telling stories to us! We had the opportunity of Luigi on two different trips!! Luigi is the best of the best! We had the BEST time! Our guide Maria was absolutely incredible! She was so knowledgeable, so friendly and took so many photos for us without us even asking! We had a wonderful time on this small group tour. They picked us up and dropped us off at our air b&b. This was so helpful and convenient. On the way to Pisa our guide, Nariman, gave us facts and information about what we would be seeing and about Italy. It was helpful and very informative. When we got to Pisa, Nariman showed us around and made sure we heard the acoustic sounds in the Pisa Baptistery. This is a must! I was not expecting it and it was a pleasant surprise! Nariman made sure we got our classic Pisa photos! He even helped make sure we were in the right positions. Then we headed to Florence. We had an amazing tour seeing all the sights and learning new information. Then Nariman took us around to see the extras! This was what made the tour! We had a great day and want to go back to Florence again!

We had 5 people booked on this so we got a private car. We were picked up early and had a driver and guide that were with us. It took 3 1/2 hours to get to Pisa with a gas station Cafe stop. Then another hour and a half to Florence. In Florence we ate lunch and had about 2 minutes to shop before meeting another group and local guide. There were 9 of us total. The tour was great. My only regret is that we didn’t have much free time. Afterwards it took about 3 1/2 hours to get back with another stop. I would definitely recommend this tour especially if you have a group of 4-5 people!

This was a great way to fit two cities in without having to block out two plus days to do them. Being picked up and returned to the place we were staying at in Rome was extremely convenient and made the morning easier even with it being an early start. We saw everything with plenty of time that we had wanted to see and do. Plenty of time to shop in Florence and explore. The guide was great and it being a smaller group was amazing.

Really great tour. We were staying at the Hilton Rome Airport, which wasn't on the hotel pickup list, but the tour operator added it for us, which was wonderful. Picked up right outside our hotel in a spacious, clean minivan with a driver and guide. We were guided around the basilica next to the Pisa tower, then given free time around the tower itself before returning to the van to go to Florence. Once there we had free time to shop (Italian leather!) and have lunch before joining our guide for a walking tour of Florence, including of course viewing the amazing David statue. The return drive to Rome was a little delayed due to a traffic accident, but our driver diverted around this so we lost very little time. All in all a very good day, with pleasant, personable guides and driver.

Long and compressed but very worthwhile tour. Our main tour guide Elizabeth was a delight, her and our driver Luigi were incredibly accommodating for the long commute from Rome to Pisa/Florence and back. Plenty of time was alloted for free time (meals) and everything logistical was completely taken care of. Our local guide for Florence, Stefan was also a delight and super knowledgeable about everything as we walked and talked. Was great to learn a snippet of the history of these amazing towns and see some incredible sights such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Accademia Gallery in Florence.
Highly recommend based on our experience, it was great!

Most everyone knows the "Leaning Tower of Pisa", but there is much to learn to fully understand how and why it was built. I thoroughly enjoyed the education I got from our tour guide, Ricci. Spending just a little extra to have a personalized tour for just the 4 of us, and being able to go at our speed (slow), made for a fun day. Florence is so rich in history and beauty, there is something for everyone to like about it. I dare say you will not be disappointed if you choose to use one of your days to explore this wonderful area of Italy!
