Your day trip to Pisa and Florence begins with hotel pickup in Rome and transport for you and your group by bus to Pisa. Explore the sights on Piazza dei Miracoli on your own for about an hour with your prebooked tickets—including the cathedral, baptistery, and cemetery—plus snap photos of the famous leaning tower from outside. Then board the bus to continue on to Florence.
Once you arrive in Florence, spend an hour of free time stretching your legs and shopping before meeting your group and guide at the Accademia Gallery to take in Michelangelo’s iconic “David”. Afterwards, take a walking tour of the city to cover A-list sights like the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria while learning about Florentine history and architecture. Board the bus for a final stop at Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the view over the city before the drive back to Rome.

It was a beautiful day trip to Piza and Florence. While the cost of meals was not included in the excursion plan, there were stops and time allocated for breakfast and lunch. Imane and Paolo kept us informed and moving throughout the trip.
Don't miss Pisa! Florence is a must. Our guide was great, made the experience more rewarding and informative.
Our excursion was wonderful. We got to fit in so many things in one day. We were picked up exactly on time and couldn't have been happier with our tour guides - Agnes and Maxentius (sp?) I would definitely recommend!
My family had a great experience on this full day tour trip. Our driver, Adam, was amazing and our tour guide, Rishi, was both knowledgeable, funny and extremely organized. Our guide knew so much about not just our tour but also about Italy in general which made for a great drive and one of the best days we had in Italy. Our guide in Florence, Ricardo, was also extremely knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. I would highly recommend this trip and our guides.
Long day but so worth it. Pisa was so beautiful and Florence was amazing. Would definitely do it again.
Two great cities to visit in one day. In Pisa we toured the cathedral and baptistry. Had a great lunch in Florence and then took a walking tour with a local expert who was excellent.
Super bummed the day didn’t turn out as planned. Our van had mechanical problems on our way which compounded the exceptionally long 4-hour drive from Rome to Pisa. We waited for alternative transportation which included multiple taxis and a train before finally arriving in Pisa two hours later than expected. That said, our Tour Assistant, JB, was extremely patient and helpful, doing everything he could to alleviate the stress of the situation. Massive kudos to him! I also appreciate that the company provided us a refund for the inconvenience.
I looked on the listing and couldn’t find anything that stated the drive to/from Rome was 4-hours long. Perhaps I overlooked that but it’s super important people know how long it is. 8 hours in a minivan is a LOT!
Pisa and Florence were very nice but no time at a ll to walk around and maybe get a few minutes to shop.
This fantastic trip to Pisa and Florence is designed so you experience both coastal and inland Tuscan countryside and includes thoughtful comfort stops.. Giuseppe, our driver, weaved his way safely through Italian traffic.Thanks for your support Giuseppe! Knowledgeable Anna guided us through the beautiful, the sacred and the unique at the Pisa park.Tell us more Anna! She was also a great help with those crazy Pisa photos. Florence was a travel to Medieval times beginning with a delicious lunch in a calm cool 900+ church restaurant,then a meander through cobblestone narrow streets soaking in old architecture, sacred artworks,the magnificent Duomo and of course the David, both the actual and the replica with the Museim's pre David's and much other famous artworks wonderfully explained by Renata our local guide.The tour was carefully worked so that we travelled through the entire very old town imagining past, vibrant life, seeing the old houses, workshops, churches, 'government ' buildings and Square and ending up at the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge.There was also time to explore on your own and shop for that famous Florence leather. On leaving town the final famous picture spot overlooking all of ancient Florence was superb.

This tour includes quite a bit of travel time in the car but the guide and driver place stops in strategic places to help with that. Ana was a wonderful guide and Renata was amazing as well during our time in Florence. If you want to see both Pisa and Florence then this is a great tour to get the highlight. Seeing and learning about the statue of David was one of our favorite parts of this tour.

I almost canceled this excursion because of the long drive from Rome, and I am so grateful that I didn’t. It ended up being our favorite tour of the entire trip!
Our driver, Artur, was outstanding. The ride was smooth, comfortable, and safe, and with a rest stop halfway both to Tuscany and on the return trip, the drive was much easier than expected.
Our tour leader, Nariman, made the hours fly by. He is incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating history, stories, and fun facts throughout the journey that kept everyone engaged. He also proudly called himself the “best photographer,” and he absolutely lived up to that title! He happily took countless photos for everyone throughout the day and made sure we all had wonderful memories to bring home.
Pisa completely exceeded my expectations. Pictures simply do not do it justice. The Piazza dei Miracoli is breathtaking, and every building is stunning. One of the most unforgettable moments was inside the Baptistry when our guide requested a demonstration of its incredible acoustics. A staff member stepped into the center and sang, and hearing her beautiful voice echo throughout the building gave me chills. It was one of the most moving experiences of our entire vacation.
Florence was equally amazing. Before we even arrived, Nariman made restaurant reservations for us so we didn’t have to waste our free time waiting for a table. That thoughtful gesture allowed us to enjoy over two hours exploring this incredible city.
Our Florence guide, Luis, was fantastic. His passion for Florence, its history, and Michelangelo was obvious in every story he shared. He didn’t just recite facts. He brought the city to life and made us appreciate what we were seeing so much more.
The perfect ending to an already incredible day was when Artur drove us up to Piazzale Michelangelo for the panoramic overlook of Florence. Standing there, looking out across the entire city, was absolutely breathtaking and the perfect finale to an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to Artur, Nariman, and Luis for creating memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re debating whether this tour is worth the long drive from Rome, don’t hesitate. It was the most memorable excursion of our vacation, and I would book it again in a heartbeat.

Nariman and Roberto were INCREDIBLE!!! The tour is incredibly long at 14 hours, including 7 hours of drive time, but with these two leading the way, it didn’t feel that way. Nariman is incredibly knowledgeable and hilarious and has a way of brining people together for memories that will last a lifetime.

Although it’s a very long all day with a lot of driving it was well worth the time to see a couple of locations we had never been to while we were staying in Rome.

Our pilot driver Roberto is really a gentleman. Greeting whenever meeting. And what shall I say about our tour guide - Nariman. He knows soooo much about Italy even though he is not from Italy. This was a great trip to Florence. Our driver, Luigi, and our tour guy Maria, were awesome. They were very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were very flexible with time while keeping us on schedule.
This was a tour t with my wife and my two kids, 12 and 14 years old and they learned some great history facts.
I will highly recommend tour and would love to have Maria and Luigi on my next one.

This is definitely a life-goal. I was able to see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and the David sculpture. Our guides were so knowledgeable and passionate about their jobs. Maria was my main your guide and she was lovely. I went with my mom, and she's not as young as she used to be. But Maria kept checking in on her. And she noticed that I was the only one who took pictures of my mom, and so Maria offered to take some pictures of me. A simple thing as that is so valuable for me because she was gentle and really paid attention.
Anyway, I recommend getting whatsapp as well in case you need to contact the tour guide. I went to explore a little and couldn't see the group. Luckily, she had messaged the night before, so I was able to contact her and met up with her quickly.
I forgot the tour guide in Florence, but he was great as well. The driver was an awesome driver too.

Everything was top notch, starting from Rome to Pisa, Florence and back to Rome!! Excellent tour guide in Florence!! Maria gave us so much information while driving and took us through Pisa we enjoyed all the information she gave us while on our trip!! An excellent choice of restaurant she picked for our lunch, she even walked with us through Florence and it was very hot!! I can’t say enough about Luigi he is an excellent driver loves music and telling stories to us! We had the opportunity of Luigi on two different trips!! Luigi is the best of the best! My teenage grandson said he will miss Luigi!

It was a long day traveling from Rome but the guide and driver made it all worth while. They showed us things we had never seen before and we had been to both locations multiple times.

We had the BEST time! Our guide Maria was absolutely incredible! She was so knowledgeable, so friendly and took so many photos for us without us even asking! Maria knew every great photo spot and was so happy to help take the photos for us! She had so much information not only of Pisa and Florence but areas along the way!
