Prompt pick up and very well organized. If you want to see Pisa and Florence efficiently, this is the tour is great. I was happy to travel with my family in the comfort of a van and not have to figure out the train system. We saw the “must sees” in both cities. I highly recommend this tour with Malak.

Itinerary

Your day trip to Pisa and Florence begins with hotel pickup in Rome and transport for you and your group by bus to Pisa. Explore the sights on Piazza dei Miracoli on your own for about an hour with your prebooked tickets—including the cathedral, baptistery, and cemetery—plus snap photos of the famous leaning tower from outside. Then board the bus to continue on to Florence.

Once you arrive in Florence, spend an hour of free time stretching your legs and shopping before meeting your group and guide at the Accademia Gallery to take in Michelangelo’s iconic “David”. Afterwards, take a walking tour of the city to cover A-list sights like the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria while learning about Florentine history and architecture. Board the bus for a final stop at Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the view over the city before the drive back to Rome.

Florence and Pisa Private Day Trip from Rome

Cannot recommend enough choosing the private day trip to Venice. Especially if you only have limited time. Incredibly easy travel with at the door pickup. Rishi our guide and Fabio our driver were both 10/10!! Rishi was patient and knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating to ensure we were able to do everything we wanted to do.Fabio was an excellent and courteous driver. Giovanni was a perfect addition in Florence sharing the incredible history behind the statue of David. Each step was carefully thought out and informative. My son Michael, Scott and I had a perfect day together! Thanks to the whole team for the great memories! I would definitely do this trip again when back in Rome.

First off, pick up and drop off straight from our accommodations was fantastic! Our feet were killing us with all the previous days rome walking. Juliana and her partner the driver were fantastic! Small Group of 4 for us this day. They take bathroom and snack breaks while on the road to destinations. The day was convent and planned perfect for a "can't miss" site seeing tour. This was one of the best experiences my family and I had in Rome. Rishi (tour leader) and Emanuel (our tour driver) went above and beyond in making our experience enjoyable, comfortable and fun. Group size was small with only 4 of us (My wife, two kids (9 & 11 years old) and I). Elizabeth was an amazing guide at Pisa. She even offered to take our pictures and knows where the best sites to take them. Giordano, Italian driving at its finest. 😁 and he even opened the door for us. Giovanni was our tour guide in Florence very knowledgeable and nice. This is a very small group tour, which is nice and if you’re lucky like us, it was a private tour for me and my husband. They picked us up from our hotel and brought us back there safely. 🥰

The tour was excellent - time to see both Pisa and Florence. The tour operator was extremely helpful as my wife had hurt her knee and couldn't walk far. The tour guide helpded her around Pisa so that she got to see the sites there and in Florence, she was able to see Michaelangelo's 'David' and then return to the car while the group continued on the walking tour.

I was shocked to find out in Pisa there is nothing to see other than the church, baptistry and the leaning tower. That was underwhelming. Florence was lovely!! The guide we had for the statue of David was knowledgeable. If you are in a hurry this is a good time crunch way to see things otherwise book the events separately and enjoy more of Florence.

My family went on the small group tour to Pisa and Florence. Our guide was Malek. She was great! She met us promptly at the hotel and was a gear guide throughout the day. She was helpful and pointed out the best spots for photos, and we learned a lot about the history! I would highly recommend this company and this agent in particular. The driver was amazing too and navigated all the narrow streets very easily.

It was amazing trip to Florence and Pisa on 12/09/25! It was a small group tour on a minivan with my Aunt Lina and Uncle Pablo, from US and we were joined by Andy and Aphro from the Philippines. Our Tour Guide was Nariman Saeedi. He was amazing on his job. He is very knowledgeable and caring to his guest . We had a taste of Florentine steak from a well Rated restaurant and the steak and experience was amazing. He took us to an authentic leather goods shop, tasting experience from Nino's. He took great pictures of us with the Leaning Tower of Pisa , we saw a view of Florence from the top- Piazza Michaelangelo. Tour of Pisa and Florence was great! We ended up with a very small group of only four. In addition to just seeing the wonderful sites our guide recommended a restaurant where we had the florentine steak. It was delicious. It was a full day experience.

The transportation and our driver and guide assistant in the van were good. We had a nice experience in Pisa, but once we arrived in Florence the tour felt VERY rushed. The museum with the Statue of David was incredible, but we were there for maybe 20 minutes. The guide told us the rest of the art there was unimportant and not worth looking at, which I found to be a ridiculous statement. Each stop after felt like a mad dash through the city for photo opportunities, and we had no time to appreciate what we were looking at. The guides also did a bad job of keeping the group together. We always felt like we were getting lost in crowds. Overall this didn’t feel worth it, and Florence is something you need more than a day trip to see.

We completely understand your perspective: Florence is extraordinarily rich in art and history and cannot be fully appreciated in just a few hours, so your comments are entirely understandable. Our intention, and that of the guide, was to allow the group to see as many of Florence’s iconic landmarks as possible within a limited timeframe, offering a broad overview of the city. For this reason, time at certain sites such as the Accademia Gallery can unfortunately feel shorter than some guests might wish. We are particularly sorry if any comments made by the guide were perceived as dismissive of other artworks, as it was certainly not our intention to diminish the artistic value of the museum. We also take your feedback regarding group management and the difficulty of navigating through crowded areas very seriously, as these are important aspects that we continuously strive to improve. We truly hope you will have the opportunity to return to Florence in the future with more time to explore it fully, as we wholeheartedly agree that it is a city that deserves far more than a day trip.

It was a long drive for the little time you spend in each place. Don't expect to spend much time seeing Pisa. Florence was nice but again not much time getting to see things. Definitely recommend more than 1 day there.

It is a very long drive to Pisa and back so you don’t have a long time there. If you want to go up to the top of the tower, be sure to tell your guide and you might need to break away to have enough time to do it. It is $20 euros per person to do it, a lot of stairs to climb, but the view is amazing. Angela/Malak was wonderful.
