Find your way to L.go di Villa Peretti (Terminal B of City Sightseeing Rome service) at 6:45am to meet your guide and group. Tour departs at 7am sharp.
Board the bus and relax during the journey to Pompeii, where you'll arrive around 10:30am. Sip from provided bottles of orange juice and water, then break up into smaller groups according to language (Italian, English, French, Spanish, German and Russian) for the Pompeii tour. Get a 2-hour guided tour of Pompeii in your own language (languages above are available, as well as Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese if requested 48 hours in advance), then enjoy some free time to explore on your own or shop for souvenirs.
Transfer to the restaurant for lunch at 1pm, then travel to Naples for a 1.25-hour on a City Sightseeing Naples bus.
Return to Rome for drop-off at your original departure point at around 8:30am.

Pompei is an amazing place to visit, unfortunately there is not enough time to see the sites as it’s a 3 hour drive each way from Central Rome. The tour guide was kind, friendly and spoke different languages. If you’re serious about visiting Pompei more time there is needed to fully explore wonders of this Archaeological site!

Pompeii is very nice and the houses teaches lots about life back then. The bus ride was long but the food in Naples was great. The vibe was nice as it displayed the grit of Naples.
However,I think there should be more clarity with pickup point - location was changed day before and when on vacation most may not be checking phone often. You should send messages via WhatsApp and Request a reply message to ensure that the customer actually acknowledges the pickup point change .
Also, was unclear that we are expected to download an app at Pompeii in order to follow along- which didn’t work in the end anyways. Had to use ChatGPT and Google lens to fill in the gaps which is absurd. Also in Naples I found it odd that we were left to wander the streets with little direction (2 recommendations) on what to do for the time there. Again, Google to the rescue for that. For the price paid for the tour these are simple things that should be a given to encourage people to book with a tour group vs booking directly (which is cheaper)
I gave it 3/5 but it was a great day overall but felt that the only benefit was a comfortable bus ride but definitely could be improved in the future.

We would like to clarify that the departure point was changed the day before solely due to roadworks and logistical requirements. For this reason, all participants were contacted directly in advance to ensure they were informed of the change.
Furthermore, your tour tour included transport and admission to Pompeii, while audio guides or guided tours were not included in the package purchased. As for Naples, as indicated in the tour description, free time is provided to allow participants to explore the city on their own.

Very nice experience. The Bus guide (Nicollo) and the Pompeii guide (Fiorella) were very knowledgeable and knew what they were talking about. The journey went on very smoothly. All in all a very enjoyable experience (not to mention that Naples and Pompeii are very beautiful)

Our tour guide in Naples was wonderful. I think her name was Erika. We had a leisurely walk through Pompeii and saw the most important sites. When we arrived in Pompeii, we had about two hours to wander the city and had a wonderful lunch of Margarita pizza.. the meeting point was very convenient and the tour was very organized. The bus driver Giovanni was great and the tour guide car. Nicolo was awesome. Nicole was very personable, very attentive to our needs and made sure that we were very comfortable during the trip. I would highly recommend this tour!

Pompeii is amazing!
The bus (Roberto was our driver) ride was smooth with perfect midpoint stopping place. Guide was professional and friendly. Bus speakers could be improved for clarity of information given by Nicoli

Excellent guide for the trip overall. Just enough time in Pompei where the small group English tour was excellent- just long enough for kids to stay interested. Naples was interesting although very crowded! Comfortable tour bus was an important plus. It was a long day but we appreciated being able to see these sites in one day trip. Highly recommend.

For the time we had, we were allowed to be pretty independent and make the most of it. The 2 hours at each place isn’t really enough to do it justice, but we got a taste. Max (driver) and Nicolo (guide) were great, and twice were very accommodating of the parties who showed up very late to departure. The one downside was the rest stop which is a very high priced, low quality experience. They do not stop at a place that is included in the toll road but actually get off the road to go to a separate place where they are ready to sell you wine, oil, and limoncello. I wish we could have done a normal roadside stop.

Sara was a great tour guide!! She worked very hard translating the day’s schedule in 3 languages and took the time showing each family maps of where we were going, keeping everyone informed all day long! This tour to pompeii and naples was a lot of fun! I highly reccommend it!

Pompeii
The meeting point was a disaster. We stayed in front of the gate of the park for 30 minutes, the English guide was late for 15 minutes and after she arrived there was a mistake in the list of the names. She had to do some phone calls before starting the tour. I had to leave without completing the tour because of my bus leave time.
Napoli,
The bus dropped us in the hop on hop off station. We had to pay tickets for just 40 minutes tour. It doesn’t worth. I think it is faster and cheaper if you booked a train ticket from rome to Napoli and navigate by your own. The hop on hop off station is in front of Napoli train station

Everything was timed perfectly, everyone arrived we left for Pompeii about 7:10 AM. We visited Pompeii with a 15 min stop before arriving to allow everyone to use restrooms get coffee, drinks or snacks. We we’re given 2.5 hrs in Pompeii if you don’t procrastinate you can get your money worth. You need easy 6 hrs a day for 3 days to see every part but let’s be honest we didn’t pay for that amount of time so let’s be reasonable. We left on time and went to Naples - given another 2 hrs and 45 mins and was nice. Note to everyone - Google Brandy pizza in Naples, it’s the birth place of Margaritas pizza and only 8 mins from bus drop off in Naples it’s on Spanish St. pizza is €10.00. They serve many other dishes as well, a must go. Overall I give the excursion 5 Stars, all six of us enjoyed ourselves. Very memorable we’re from New Orleans but live in Atlanta Ga & Dallas areas now.

Sara tour coordinator gave us a time to be back and sent us with Ryvetta who was excellent. The tour took longer than expected and bus was ready to leave before we were back. Sara called and yelled at us. Not good experience. We stayed in coffee shop in Naples and waited for bus fearing we would miss bus So, Pompeii was incredible. Naples was a waste of time and money. Tour should not send people with a group and expect us to get ourselves back before completed.

It was a good price, but it’s a 3 hour ride there then you only have two hours to look around you kinda need a whole day then it was hour to napels which also was only 2 hour stop so couldn’t really do much other than food but it was an ok trip staff were great and friendly.. just need to be longer at the stops it’s says 15 hours but all together it’s a 10 hour trip if you think that’s for you book but trip should be extended longer it was a bit rushed altogether

The guide we had on Pompei was excellent, however, it was disappointing that the travel guide from Sightseeing Roma did not provide any commentary on our bus trip to and from Pompei and Naples.
The tour of Napels on the hop on and hop off bus was also disappointing as they did not appear to cater it for our group, rather as it was a normal hop on hop off bus trip advising us what we could at each stop.
Pompei tour was great and our guide was very informative and interesting.

The absolute WORST experience of our entire vacation. We met the bus at 7:00AM but didn't leave until 7:25 because we were waiting on another person. After our scheduled stop we were told to be back at 9:00 sharp. We were then informed we were to wait for the idiot that got on the wrong bus. So 29 people waited on 1 person for 35 minutes. While in a very crowded Naples we are finally heading out of town when some woman starts freaking out that she left a package in the bathroom. The driver is told to do a u-turn and go back. It set us back another 45 minutes. Instead of getting back to Rome at the scheduled time of 7:30 we pulled in at 10:05. The entire day was painful and we never book with this company again. They should return our money.

Have done this excursion before and it was awesome. Not so much the case this time. Tour guide at Pompeii was difficult to understand. Lunch was very cheap. Too long driving through Naples. Not worth the money. I recommend Pompeii but not on a full day.
