Fun experience for all!
Excellent presentation and hands on experience. Our guide was Manuel who was most patient with our clumsy attempts and quite funny overall. He managed to provide some interesting tidbits about pizza making while demonstrating the process for dough and pizza making. The resulting pizzas were very good! Highly recommended for both children and adults, even those of us with less than normal detexerity. Great fun for all!

Wonderful Italian Cooling Class a must
Julio, our chef and teacher was a pleasure! He engaged the class with enthusiasm, was easy to follow his instructions, and made the whole process very fun. I’m glad I booked this experience. The class supported each other and laughed together. After making your pasta and tiramisu, you get to eat your food together!

Over the Top!
The pasta making class exceeded all of our expectations. We were greeted by our chef Giacomo. He was knowledgeable, patient and funny. He explained and demonstrated how to make the pasta dough, roll the dough and finally make into desired shapes. He made everyone feel comfortable, even when things were not going right. Humor was added when he showed us what a ravioli explosion was. Chef gathered us around while he cooked the pasta and explained cooking times and how to test for readiness. Now was get to enjoy the food that we made as we gather around the table and enjoy conversations with the Chef Giacomo.

Incredible Florentine Cooking Experience with Chef Luca!
This is a “don’t miss” experience in Florence which is great for families with older kids. I was traveling with my 13 year old son who is an experienced cook and was a bit skeptical about what he could learn in a tourist cooking class. Our main instructor was Chef Luca who lead us through the Mercato Centrale in Florence and taught us about shopping for Tuscan ingredients. We then headed to the site of our cooking class in the hills outside Florence. It was a beautifully situated estate with plenty of room for our class to spread out and learn the techniques of pasta making, as well as preparing the other dishes on our menu (bruschetta pomodoro, ragu di Manzo, roasted pork loin, and tiramisu). Chef Luca was a star and made the experience enjoyable for my son & I from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone spending time in the Florence area. Thank you, Chef Luca!

Italian food is arguably one of the most beloved cuisines in the world, so Italy is proud (and protective) of its culinary culture. Italy cooking classes let you connect with diverse regional cuisines that range from the Alpine specialties of the north to Mediterranean crowd-pleasers in the south. Tie on an apron, roll up your sleeves, and go hands-on to learn how to prepare authentic risotto in Milan, pici pasta in Tuscany, pizza in Naples, couscous in Sicily, and much more—washing down each triumph in the kitchen with perfectly paired local wine.
