This was a fabulous experience! Alice, who led the cooking class and took us to the local market, was wonderful! Super personable and an educated/accredited chef herself, she provided our small group (5) with plenty of cooking tips as well as history of certain foods in Italy. The market tour was super and we got to taste various eevo’s, balsamic, truffle products, pistachio cream and more. Loved learning how to make a lasagna that doesn’t collapse once cutting into it after it’s done in the oven as well as tiramisu from scratch. I highly recommend this program and Alice!!

Fantastic Experience with Chef Jon

Kim_B, Mar 2026
Our pasta cooking class with Chef Jon in Florence was a wonderful experience. He had great energy from the start and made the class fun, engaging, and relaxed. Chef Jon was a fantastic and very patient teacher, guiding us step by step as we learned how to make fresh pasta. His instructions were clear and encouraging, which made the whole process approachable even for beginners. It was obvious that he truly loves what he does, and that passion really came through during the class. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and left with new skills and great memories. Highly recommended.

Passionate and Refined Chefs

Absolutely wonderful experience with Tommaso and Jon. Both are very talented and take this business seriously. Will do again when we visit next time, hopefully with the same chefs.

This is probably the most knowledgable and experienced chef we've encountered in any of the cooking classes. John is a master storyteller too.

Exploring the market with a chef that grew up in Florence was so much fun and informative. Spending our early afternoon cooking with Tomasso as our chef was the best experience. The company was great and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

We had a great time making pasta and tiramisu!

Michelle_S, Dec 2025
We had a great time! We made pumpkin ravioli, another pasta and tiramisu! It was all delicious. We also toured the market to purchase the ground beef and sample some of the olive oils and balsamic vinegar. We ate what we cooked at the end of our class, and drank wine!

We are so glad that we booked this small group class (9 people) . We had Chef Tommaso, he was excellent!! He kept the group involved and kept us entertained. His assistant was also excellent, ensuring all the needed supplies were available and our work area clean. I would highly recommend this class, it started at 9am and ended at 2pm and we all walked out with a full belly, from our day of cooking.

So much fun. Really enjoyed learning how to make pasta, bolognese sauce, tiramisu and of course yummy wine. Tommaso was a wonderful teacher.

Definitely don’t miss this one!

Stacie_L, Oct 2025
This cooking class was amazing! Even my husband learned to cook pasta. The tour of the market was also incredible with truffle, tasting and balsamic vinegar tasting. If you can get Federico as your chef, he was the best!

Thought you knew how to make pasta?

Christopher_G, Sep 2025
This is a very informative cooking class. I try to do a cooking class on all my vacations and this one was fabulous. You will learn from an accomplished chef specific techniques for making pasta and Italian sauces. The trip around the market is also fun. Alyce was our chef/host and I cannot say enough positive things about how she conducted to activity.

Amazing experience and chef!

Great cooking class with...

Rayan_E, Sep 2025
Great cooking class with anicoló. The only downside was the guy who greeted us (Jon) who was impolite, we came in early as specified by the instructions, he could've been nice in saying they're not ready to host us yet but he chose the rude way, his colleagues were extremely nice and kind and dealt with the matter professionally. Otherwise everything was great.

Great experience

Roisin_S, Sep 2025
We thoroughly enjoyed this experience, our head chef Jon made the experience fun interactive and so enjoyable. We would highly recommend this class for anyone visiting Florence.

What an incredible...

Brittany_W, Aug 2025
What an incredible experience to learn to cook pasta and make gelato in Italy. Our chefs Frederico and Niccolo were great. They made sure we knew what we were doing step by step and kept the class interesting and engaged. At the end they offered a free photo of your group with a QR code to a recipe booklet that had the recipes for the dishes we made as well as a couple of other ones. If I could give this review a 10 I would. Highly highly recommend!

Great cooking class!

Jillian_B, Aug 2025
Excellent chefs (Alice and Roberta) helped us cook two different pastas (ricotta ravioli, and tagliatelle), two sauces (tomato and basil, and pesto), a delicious vanilla gelato. Food was great (better than some restaurants we attended!), chefs were knowledgeable - great night and great fun!

Highly recommend this...

Calla_M, Jul 2025
Highly recommend this cooking class. It really is a full cooking experience, so make sure you can commit at least five hours of your time before signing up. The experience includes tasting ingredients at the local market, as well as cooking every part of your meal. Our chef, Alice, was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Overall, a great experience, thank you Towns of Italy!!

.must do

Tony_T, Jul 2025
Fedrico was great. Lots of fun but very thoughtful in his teaching. Didn't just tell you how to do but the history behind it and how grandma did it. Shared how you can personalize to preference. He was very patient for those who may have been slower or with a kid in our class who needed a little extra help. I definitely recommend.
