This truly was the highlight of our trip! Not only was Luca FUN he is extremely knowledgeable. I learned new things and I am someone who loves to cook. We were there as a family, 18 and 20 year old kids and both loved it as well along with my husband. Luca had us laughing the entire day, great personality and when we got to the farmhouse he and Erika made an amazing team. I could not recommend this experience more!!!! Take this class, you’ll be so happy you did. Luca, we love you!

What wonderful time we had with our chefs Cris and Erica! They are enthusiastic and passionate about cooking. We learned so much from this hand-on experience, and the food we prepared in the beautiful countryside was absolutely delicious!

We decided early on that whenever we would travel to a new city we would take a cooking class. We’ve taken multiple cooking classes in multiple cities and multiple countries. This particular class was one of the best ones we’ve ever taken for multiple reasons. First, we had a great group - friendly, interactive, fun, and actively participated. Second, the Tuscan food is ah-MAZE-ing, delicious, and plentiful. And lastly, our host Luca was one of a kind. He was fun, funny, interactive, knowledgeable, and engaging! He treated the class like his own reality tv cooking show and let me tell you - I would watch the show every day! This was one of my favorite classes/experiences I’ve done and would book again on my next trip.

This was soup to nuts! Shopping in the market to making a full meal with desserts! Learning that less ingredients is more in many circumstances! I can only hope more people get to experience this with our hosts, Chris and Erika! They were wonderful together and very knowledgeable!

This was, without question, the highlight of our time in Florence and the one experience I would recommend to every visitor, kid friendly as well!
From the moment we met Cris and Erika, we knew we were in for something special. They are genuinely some of the warmest, kindest, and most welcoming hosts we've ever encountered. Their passion for Tuscan food, Florence, and creating memorable experiences shines through in everything they do. They made every guest feel like family and were incredibly patient, encouraging, and fun throughout the entire day.
The experience started with a guided tour of the local market, which was fantastic. Cris and walked us through the stalls, explaining where the fresh ingredients came from and how they are used in traditional Tuscan cooking. We loved all the samples provided by the vendors and appreciated the insider tips on what to buy and bring home. It added so much context to the cooking experience and gave us a deeper appreciation for the ingredients we would later use.
Transportation was seamless and comfortable. Getting to and from the farmhouse was effortless, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the day.
The farmhouse itself was breathtaking. The outdoor cooking space felt like a luxury Tuscan kitchen straight out of a magazine, surrounded by postcard-worthy views overlooking Florence and the countryside. We found ourselves stopping constantly to admire the scenery.
The cooking class was both fun and approachable, even for beginners. Cris and Erika guided us through creating an incredible four-course meal, teaching us how to make fresh pasta and tiramisu completely from scratch. Their instructions were easy to follow, and they struck the perfect balance between teaching and letting everyone get hands-on experience.
By the end of the day, we not only enjoyed one of the best meals of our trip, but we also left with skills and recipes we can't wait to recreate at home. More importantly, we left with wonderful memories thanks to Cris and Erika, whose hospitality truly made this experience unforgettable.
If you're visiting Florence and can only choose one excursion, make it this one. Hands down, it was the best thing we did in Tuscany.

This was a wonderful experience. From the tour of the Mercanto Centrale to the beautiful views to the delicious food. To add to the fun our tour guide/chef Luca was hilarious and knowledgeable. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic cooking class outside of the city.

What a fun, delicious, entertaining and all around fabulous time we had cooking with Luca & Erica!!!! From the moment the "tour" began, we knew it was going to be a blast!!! Everything was so organized and well planned! The "cooking team" made sure it all ran smoothly, from the first slice of bread, chopping the tomatoes, cooking the sauce, preparing the meat, making homemade pasta, and finally a fabulous tiramisu.... what a day!!!
DELICIOUS! And to top it off, the setting was gorgeous!!! A great cherished memory!

Wow! What an amazing day with Luca! This tour was worth every penny and then some. Luca was an absolute fantastic host and tour guide. From beginning to end everything was exceptional. Luca was extremely entertaining and knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Tuscan/Italian cooking. Our family had a wonderful day shopping at a local market and then traveling to a beautiful Tuscan farmhouse to prepare a delicious lunch with an awesome group of people! Erica was amazing as well. A wonderful day experiencing cooking in Tuscany! Luca and Arla are amazing hosts and a wealth of knowledge. It was amazing to hear all the background to different dishes and the regions of Italy. The Tuscan Farmhouse where we cooked was a massive highlight, it’s so beautiful it’s hard to believe! The food was delicious and it felt great to eat pasta we had all made in the class.
The only downside for me was that the day we did the class there were 23 people in attendance. It felt a little bit too crowded and didn’t allow as much hands on cooking action for some of the smaller dishes. It would be good to consider even lowering the class size to 20 or just under to really allow people to be immersed and get time to cook! However this was such a minor detail and I would do it all again if I could, in fact when I’m back in Tuscany I will hopefully do the pizza and gelato class!

Our Tuscan cooking experience with Luca and Erica far exceeded my expectations. The setting was absolutely beautiful — the architecture, the landscaping, and the overall atmosphere made the experience feel very special. We went in mid-May, and the temperature was perfect.
Luca was incredibly entertaining and kept the class fun from beginning to end. Erica was wonderful as well, and together they created such a welcoming environment.
Making homemade pasta for the first time in my life was definitely a highlight, and I loved every minute of it. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tuscany.

Our instructors, Luca and Erika, were both fantastic. They were personable, knowledgeable, patient, and made the class both fun and engaging for everyone. Their energy and enthusiasm created a relaxed atmosphere that made the experience enjoyable regardless of your cooking skill level.
The farmhouse location itself was absolutely beautiful and added so much to the experience. Cooking in the Tuscan countryside felt like something out of a movie and made the day even more special.
One of the best parts was getting to enjoy everything we cooked ourselves, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and delicious, and it was rewarding to sit down together and enjoy the meal after preparing it.
Overall, this tour was the perfect mix of food, culture, scenery, and hands-on fun. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence who wants a true Tuscan cooking experience.

Luca made this entire experience fantastic. Going to the Mercado was absolutely hilarious, the way he interacted with the Mercado shop workers and those attending the class was so fun. Learning through stories is such a great way to experience culture. At the villa the entire crew ran such a tight ship in the background but also made it very relaxed and inviting to get hands on as a student. Good wine, good food, and good company. Cooking with love!
