This is a "must do"! Our guide, Faizan, was wonderful, knowledgeable, and gave us lots of interesting information that made the experience more enjoyable. People should be aware that there's a lot of uphill walking and stairs to climb but very worth it.

VIP tour to castle

This is the only way to see the castle. The VIP tour was worth the money. Ursela was a wonderful tour guide. She gave us a really great bit of history of Germany and the area on the way to the castle and the way she tells the story of Ludwig is enthralling and interesting. Since the bus was a small group of 26 she was able to get our group off the bus at Neushwanstein Castle and then onto the bus up the hill ($3.50 euro extra per person) cash only) to Maria’s bridge and tell us where and when to take the best pictires. She had us to the castle tour on time and clear concise instructions where when to meet back to bus for next Castle visit and town visit. She really made it so interesting. I usually fall asleep but couldn’t although she did leave some time on the way back for us to take a short nap. This was an amazing day and she had it so organized and stress free. I would highly recommend this tour especially with Ursula and the snacks on the VIP bus were very good. The bus driver was good also Mr Seanut!

Great Castle Trip

My wife and I went on this tour today. It was great. Elizabeth our guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. She provided us with an interesting talk on the way to the castles. Her talk was very informative. We arrived at Linderhof Palace ahead of the crowd making the sight seeing very nice. The Groto was spectacular. Elizabeth was very clear about the best way to view all of the attractions and very punctual. Argon our driver took very good care of us with the snacks and drinks. He was a very safe driver. The guides at all sites were very good. Neuschwanstein Castle great as well. An excellent day trip over all

Wonderful Day Trip!

Tour guide and driver were very friendly. Francesca was very knowledgeable and shared many details we found both interesting and informative. The route we took was beautiful and the bus was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a little free time in each location to explore on our own and eat lunch. Definitely recommend this trip!

Fun Tour with Amanda as a Great Guide!

A great way to eat your way around Munich. Go hungry, there is plenty of food, along with beer, a sweet wine, Schnapps or water and soft drinks if you prefer. Our Guide Amanda was excellent. Knowledgeable, interesting and overall fun. Recommend this tour.

Blame Ludwig, not the tour, stunning but not accessible

Best experience for a family on the go as our family enjoyed the traditional food in the nearby village, souvenir shopping and seeing the castle from the shoos. That said, there are many steps and a tight timeline, so I wouldn't call it accessible. Both our daughters, one blind, the other a wheelchair user who also relies on crutches, wouldn't have been able to manage it. That's less a reflection on this excursion provider and more on the fact that King Ludwig II wasn't thinking about accessibility back in the 19th century!

Fantastic boat tour, great price and convenient location for the start and finish staying at the Radisson. The table service for drinks was great & efficient. Michael the tour guide made the tour his narration and sharing his personal experiences of living in West Berlin during the existence of the wall added to the depth of the guided tour. 100% recommend and well worth the money.

This is an excellent tour, covering the dramatic history of this fascinating city. A ‘must do’ tour!

After learning modern history at school, I really wanted to do this tour. Tom, our fabulous guide took us through the timeline of Hitler and the beginnings of his political life. Tom’s knowledge was very good and kept moving us to the various locations relevant to the parts of Hitler’s time in Munich. Just fascinating and the tour lived up to my expectations and more! Highly recommend this tour to appreciate and understand how Hitler came to power.
