Fantastic worthwhile tour! We first visited the sister restaurant to be introduced to all the fresh fruits and vegetables and fish that we will be cooking. We then went back and had an appetizer plate of cheese, meat and wine. We then learned to make homemade pasta and tomato sauce. We followed it up with making salt crusted, fish, sardines stuffed with assorted breadcrumbs and other things, we took the leftovers from the breadcrumbs, added tomatoes, onions, capers, etc., and made another course. We skewered them with sliced oranges to be offered. After that, we made an eggplant lasagna topped with delicious breadcrumbs and mozzarella cheese. All of these courses were served to us, followed by a cannoli and Lemoncello. It was an amazing experience with our chef Alexandria, who made the whole event an experience we will always remember. We highly recommend it

This class was a lot of fun! Learned to make a number of different dishes and a lot of backstories along the way. Paulo and Antonio were amazing teachers! Great experience, highly recommend if you have the time. Come hungry since there’s lots to eat!

My husband and I did the Sicilian Cooking Class. It was great. We make fresh pasta, coated a sea bass in a salt crust, made swordfish rolls, and eggplant parmesan. The chef was very helpful and the other cooks that helped were also great. The food turned out fantastic!!

Would’ve liked more participation from the instructor. No need to go to the market a waste of time. He really didn’t spend that much time with the people thank goodness we had a nice crowd and enjoy the company. Was expecting a little more from the class. The chef kept walking away from my many times and leaving us all alone. He was very nice, but I think it could’ve been more participation on his part.

Paolo was amazing ! Good time and good food and wine for all ! Very organized — after a trip to local produce market, we learned how to make pasta, eggplant parm and breaded swordfish - a very nice start to our first trip to Taormina ! Lots of fun!

Lots of food and fun! Mary, Mauricio, and Giovanni made this a really great experience. Be prepared for hands-on active participation and enjoy the results of your labors. We made baked sea bass, swordfish rolls, veal rolls, eggplant Parmesan, and pasta! Delicious cannoli and limoncello provided. Highly recommend this fun activity!

A tremendous experience with the most talented bunch. Chef Francesca was brilliant - funny, talented, informative and knowledgable. She knew her stuff and her delivery was excellent. The team around her were all fab too. We had loads of fun, made and ate loads of delicious food, drank great wine and wore (and kept) a cute apron too. We were a group of 3 in a total group of 10, perfecto. 👌🏼

So much fun and so much food as well - all delicious. 100% recommend doing. All three chefs were amazing (Chef Giovanni - owner of restaurant, Paolo and Francesca made the experience so fun. Chef Giovanni acted like we were there working in his kitchen for his guests (which were us). First we went to the fish market which was very informative and then back to the restaurant to get cooking. We had plenty to eat throughout the entire experience - fruit and cheese with wine to start, sea bass/sea bream fish dish, pasta, swordfish dish, more wine, cannoli and more wine. Overall great experience and so much fun. Don’t miss.

It was very hot with little airflow in July. Dripping sweat while cooking. The food was OK but heavy on fish dishes. Not a fan of sardines. Swordfish tasted a bit undercooked. Eggplant dish was decent. Pasta was not the main dish and did not taste very good. I would not attempt to make any of these dishes at home. It was kind of disappointing because we were hoping to make some good pasta and sauce that we could replicate at home. Maybe we went with wrong expectations? We didn’t make any pasta sauce. I would recommend the pizza making class instead. Great service and good company. Good wine and charcuterie.

Couldn't recommend this experience enough. There were 5 of us that went on a Saturday during a long weekend trip to Taormina and we were joined by 2 others on the day. We started with a coffee at the restaurant, then it was a short walk over to a small market where Chef Paolo showed us around, and then we returned to start cooking. We were all surprised by how many different things we learned to cook - starting with pasta making and then also making several types of Sicilian starters and getting two bigger dishes into the oven - with plenty of breaks for drinking wine and snacking on fruit and cheeses, before we sat down for the full meal at the end. Chef Paolo made the whole experience really good fun and gave us lots of info about Sicily as well as the cooking, and was also really accommodating of a vegetarian in our group, who didn't feel like anything was missed. The rest of the staff were just as great as they helped with bits and pieces and accommodated us coming into the restaurant kitchen to see everything that goes into their prep. We all thought it was the best thing we did during our time in Taormina!
