Put a Bolognese slant on an Italian food experience, with this small-group cooking class, hosted by locals who are passionate about their cuisine. After a welcome aperitivo of pignoletto wine and Bologna snacks of mortadella meat and crescenta focaccia, you’ll make tagliatelle pasta from scratch to accompany a homemade ragú. A self-made Casoni spritz is among the extra perks. Just note: This class isn’t suitable for children or anyone with special dietary needs.

This was one of the best things we did during our 4 week trip to Spain, Italy, and Greece. Stephania and Stephania were great teachers and so much fun! Working together and getting to know the other “students” was the best part, and the drinks certainly didn’t hurt any as we made our tagliatelle together! The food, the wine, and the laughs made this a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to make our spritzes and pastas at home.

Luca and Katerina were amazing! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome with their kindness and warm hospitality. They were helpful throughout the entire class, guiding us step by step while keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed.
There were four of us in the class, and it was such a memorable, hands-on experience. We learned a lot, laughed even more, and truly felt immersed in the art of making pasta. It was the perfect mix of learning and enjoyment.
I highly recommend this class for an authentic and enjoyable cooking experience!

I am remiss in not telling you about this fun evening much earlier. Vivian and her assistant turned a rainy Bologna evening into a mini feast. There were four participants in the cooking class in a well laid out room. None of us had ever made pasta before, and her step by step demonstration and tutelage changed flour and egg into masterpieces after wine and appetizers. She already had the sauce simmering. We tasted the difference between Campari and Aperol Spritz while cooking our pasta. A delicious meal and relatively easy to do! Recipes are available.

Loved loved loved this activity! Our hosts were so welcoming and engaging, and they kept our group busy and entertained. Roberta showed us how easy it’s is to mix, roll out, and cut tagliatelle, and Lucrezia taught us the secrets of making a good aperol spritz. Plenty of food and drinks for everyone, and we all ended up with leftover pasta to cook at home. Would recommend this class to anyone who loves to cook, eat and drink with other food lovers.

This was a very well organized cooking class. The location was easy to find and we were met by two wonderful cooking instructors., Stefania and Claudia. They welcomed us and encouraged us to share our love of cooking, and we enjoyed getting to know each other while, sharing a meal together . Stefania helped all of us in making our own pasta dough and Claudia taught us how to make a Spritz. We learned about local traditions including a how they made the traditional Bolognese sauce which we used over our pasta . We were also greeted with a fabulous white wine, we enjoyed our Spritz cocktails, we tried an we tried a wonderful red wine and we got to try some Amaro which I have always wanted to try. We ended the afternoon with a café and a gelato paired with a drizzle of a very aged balsamic vinegar from Modena. What a very generous treat that was. Don’t hesitate to book this class. It is very much worth it..
