Overview
Put a Bolognese slant on an Italian food experience, with this small-group cooking class, hosted by locals who are passionate about their cuisine. After a welcome aperitivo of pignoletto wine and Bologna snacks of mortadella meat and crescenta focaccia, you’ll make tagliatelle pasta from scratch to accompany a homemade ragú. A self-made Casoni spritz is among the extra perks. Just note: This class isn’t suitable for children or anyone with special dietary needs.

- The ragù preparation is not included in the class due to limited time; however, the ragù is 100% homemade.
- This experience can accommodate vegetarians, but it may not be suitable for people with severe allergies or strict dietary restrictions
- To ensure the best experience for everyone in the class, guests arriving more than 30 minutes after the scheduled start time will not be able to join the cooking class. Late arrivals miss an important part of the introduction and preparation, and joining the class at that stage would disrupt the experience for the rest of the group.
- The experience can accommodate vegetarians, but may not be suitable for people with severe allergies or strict dietary requirements.

This was one of the best things we did during our 4 week trip to Spain, Italy, and Greece. Stephania and Stephania were great teachers and so much fun! Working together and getting to know the other “students” was the best part, and the drinks certainly didn’t hurt any as we made our tagliatelle together! The food, the wine, and the laughs made this a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to make our spritzes and pastas at home.

It's engaging and informative! The food was AMAZING. My partner says it was the best meal he ate during our 2 week Italy stay.
Luca and Martina were amazing. From when we were greeted at the beginning to all the way when they hugged and kissed us goodbye, they were friendly, informative and funny. I’m not a cook, and even though I made it, the food was amazing (and the drinks). Felt welcomed just like you would if you were at nonna house for dinner. Highly recommend.
The cooking class was very informative and fun. Kate and Martina met us at the entrance and were great in leading us through the class with detailed instructions. In the end, we received the recipes for everything we made. It was clear that they were very experienced and were able to support everyone with different levels of cooking experience, and also they made effort to get to know each of us.
Valentina and Gabriele were fantastic. Our family had an amazing time. Highly recommended, 5+ stars, food was delicious!
Kate and Valencia were fantastic! I would highly recommend doing this activity. Learned a lot and was a great way to learn a bit more about the Italian food culture.
Traveled from Florence to Bologna. Easy to navigate to the location. The ladies were wonderful and patient with the group. The food, drinks and activities worth the trip. Would highly recommend if you have never made pasta.
What a great activity! Kate and Klara made the class fun and the flow between prep, cooking and eating was perfect. Overall a wonderful experience I would do it again the food we made was REALLY good!!

Francesca and her partner were great!! Patient and helpful, they showed us howto make pasta and spritzes. And then the best part? We ate what we made. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn about Italian cuisine and have fun at the same time.

This experience was so fun and easy going! My friend and I had Francesca as our teacher. She was amazing! She had such witty fun humor and you could tell she loves cooking. She was so welcoming and never made you feel like you were doing something wrong! Even at the end of class she gave us recs on where to go in the city. You could tell she wanted us to have the best experience we could have in Bologna.
We had a fantastic time! Claudia and Lucrezia were phenomenal teachers, and made the whole experience incredibly fun and informative. We had a lot of pasta (and drinks!) to eat and plenty to take home. Altogether, it was a great way to spend time on a Sunday morning.
Claudia and Luclezia were amazing!! Learning to make Aperol spritzes and tagliatelle pasta was great fun. They were entertaining and funny too. We asked tons of questions and they happily answered them all. I could not recommend them and the class any higher. Great job!!!

This was such a fun experience! Really great instructors, alcohol and jokes flowing the entire time, and a really fun group. The food was delicious and my partner and I learned a lot. 100% must do experience, really fun and really good value. We loved it!!!

Great, easy pasta class perfect for your entire family. Pasta cooking along with spritz making. A little dessert, coffee, and aperativo served afterwards. The class moves quick. The two hours goes by even faster!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Both the instructor and her assistant were warm, patient, and made the class so much fun. Everything was hands-on, interactive, and easy to follow.
What made this experience truly unforgettable was how incredibly kind they were to my son, who is on the autism spectrum. They naturally adapted to his needs, made him feel included, and gave him an experience he absolutely loved. As a mother, that meant more than I can express.

Lucia and Jaya were our hosts and instructors. They were very organized, knowledgeable, and patient with our group. We will never buy store bought pasta again. Although we did not make the ragu, they shared the ingredients and plan to send us the recipes.
We loved the company of our classmates from different countries and enjoyed eating our very own homemade pasta.
Highly recommend doing this to anyone visiting Bologna.
