What are people saying about San Francisco

Great Tour, great guide!
We enjoyed the tour greatly. Cyrus was a wealth of information, and drove all over San Francisco. And driving in San Francisco is challenging but we never felt unsafe - he was cautious and efficient. We learned about the history of areas and architecture in addition to seeing the famous musician’s places in “The Haight”. We saw numerous great views of Golden Gate Bridge and had many good photo ops. I definitely recommend this experience.

Jim is a wonderful host!
We travelled with Jim in the amazing bus “Pearl”. Jim was very knowledgeable about all of San Francisco. My partner is disabled and he was skillfully accommodating. One of the highlights for me was how well he handled Pearl through the streets. Kudos!

Calder delivered an...
Calder delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. Not only was the tour itself excellent, but he also went above and beyond in every way. He explained the journey clearly, shared extra insights, and showed genuine enthusiasm for nature and plants, which made the experience even more engaging and memorable.
On top of that, I accidentally left my phone and bag on his bus, and he personally made the effort to return everything to me quickly and safely. Truly exceptional service, professionalism, and kindness. Highly recommended!

Bucket List Item - check!
This was such a cool experience! We did this in mid March and I personally did not need a jacket and wish I had worn less, actually. haha We saw a whale and had smooth sailing around Alcatraz and under the bridge. Highly recommend and would do it again!

Muir woods
Wow! Does Buddy have a lot of knowledge about San Francisco and the area around. I learned so much. Very comfortable in the van. Could hear him well with his speaker. Easy to understand his instructions when to get back to the bus after walks through Muir Woods and Sausalito

Must do in SF
This was actually super awesome!!! We did 3 hours which is the perfect amount of time. 4 hours might have even been good. Takes you through all the highlights of SF. I would recommend this to anyone coming out. It’s not normal something people look to do but it was very fun.

Excellent option for Muir Woods visit
Well worth the fee. Adequate time to immerse yourself in the awesome Muir Woods. Quick look around Sausalito - we opted for a cocktail). On the way back we were able to view the Golden Gate Bridge from a high vantage point - great photos. Our guide Roman, originally from Germany, enlightened and entertained us the entire time and then dropped us each at or near our chosen location.

Had an amazing time at this tour.
This was a great way to experience sonoma and Napa valleys. This is perfect if you are hoteling in downtown cos they have a pickup location there (as well as fisherman wharf). It was a comfy bus with abt 20 ppl. Stopped first at a view point of Golden gate for 10 mins. Then an hour drive to winery #1. We went to la Rosche, BR Cohn and maddona for an hour each. And spent about 1.5 hrs at sonoma square for lunch.
We travelled with kids 3.5 M and 2 F. The rosche and maddona were very kid friendly. Rosche had the best views with open sitting area with tastings happening in unrestricted outdoorsy environment. They also had the perfect amount of information to share on wine making (not too preachy). Mark led that and was awesome. They were also fairly generous with the variety and quantity of pours. BR cohn had a similar outdoory area but for some reason seated us in a small area near the parking lot for majority of the duration. They were also a bit restrictive.
We travelled in march so the vines were just starting to bud out. Not much foliage to see unfortunately. We only glimpsed napa valley (maddona). It seemed nicer than sonoma valley.
Tips - no food at any locations. Rosche had some snackers (cheese, pretzels, etc) for purchase. Plan accordingly.
Sonama square had a lot of food options.
Also a nice play ground for little ones.
One the way back- we hopped off at fischerman warf and took a cable car back to union square for the iconic views.

Perfect little cruise!
This was a nice cruise for the whole family. Indoor and outdoor seating, good bathrooms and small concesion with regular and alcoholic drinks. The 1 hour tour was guided with an audiorecording and drive to the golden gate and around Alcatraz. Very enjoyable!

Wow!!!!
What an amazing day! This tour is a MUST. Nino was the most fabulous host/driver for our group and the people on our bus… they absolutely made our day. The vineyards we visited were outstanding. Honestly with the wines and the e people, this was THE best trip I’ve done in a very long time!

Pick this tour!
Brian is a very experienced guide and his passion for SF is evident in all his choices of what to show you and the commentary/ anecdotes along the way. The small van is perfect for getting to all the sites. Brian also provides a snack with thoughtful choices that tie into SF's culture and history

Muir Wods and Sausalito
Even through rain, the Muir Woods is majestic and amazing! We also had a great city tour and learned a lot about San Francisco and the cultural parts of the city. We chose to get off and spend time in Sausalito-which was fabulous. We spent time visiting with a couple who had lost their home in Palisade a year ago. It was a day to remember!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Of all the San Francisco bus tours, the “love” tours that zip around the city from the Painted Ladies Victorian homes to the Twin Peaks viewpoint in Volkswagen vans might be the most fun. If these offbeat treks are a bit granola for you, other bus tours are convenient for exploring the city and surrounding areas in comfort. Hop-on hop-off bus tours offer ultimate flexibility and freedom, while guided coach tours travel to Muir Woods and even as far as Yosemite National Park and the Monterey and Carmel area.
