Interesting tour of Alcatraz. Took a civil war tour as well as audio tour. Beautiful bay ride out to the facility. Nice staff on board and on the island. The staff on the land side need to get off their phones.

We bought these tickets because all others to Alcatraz were sold out and we wanted to ensure we get to see it before leaving San Fran so this was a good option for us. We did not make use of the bikes because I'm pregnant, but if I weren't this would be such a nice day to spend your time out in the city. It was easy to get ahold of the tickets, I called them and everything was sorted within minutes. Very nice, helpful staff. Thank you.

The access to the ferry tour with pre-booked tickets in San Fran was okay but didn’t come with instant QR code tickets to download to our phones which created a bit of an issue. The company did ring us in the end to give access on email. A bit of a hassle for overseas travellers with data only phone plans.
The trip was great there and back with fantastic views. The audio tour is brilliant but it was a real pity that so much of Alcatraz is not accessible or in need of repair. It could be so much better if it was cleaned up and maintained for all the visitors to really appreciate the history.

Alcatraz was terrific. We were a little concerned we wouldnt make the ferry in time and they said no problem that they would honor our tickets on the next ferry trip.
We also upgraded to the E bikes for the day and had an outstanding time going over the Golden Gate Bridge, and into Sausalito for a wonderful meal at Soma and returned our bikes about 5 o’clock in the afternoon.

We arrive as requested, got in line and we’re on the first ferry to The Rock. It was easy, fun and a self-guided tour. I went with my daughter and two 10 year olds. We all had a great time, learned a lot, took tons of pictures and spent close to 3 hours on the island.

One of the best Tours I have ever experienced.. The boat ride was fun. The view was incredible.. the audio tour and the guided tour put everything into perspective being able to set foot in the cells and see how the actual prisoners lived was eye-opening. I found the tour to be informative and interesting. The views from the ferry and island were amazing too.

Such a great tour. The audio tour was pretty cool. You get to hear from the prisoners view and see visually what life was like in the cells.The views from the island were also amazing. This is a must do attraction while visiting San Francisco.

The trip to Alcatraz was great! Very informative. Easy to navigate, though there was a significant amount of walking up and down hills that may be difficult for someone with mobility issues. The Bay Cruz was fine. There was plenty of room on the vessel to sit inside or out. We had great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and got some history.
That being said, you need to know that this voucher is for a 3rd party company that is booking 2 separate tours for you. Both of them legit— however takes some navigation. Make sure you call the number listed, otherwise you’ll have to go pick up your tickets at an off site location. Customer service was actually very good. The gentleman I worked with answered the phone every time I called, was polite, and was able to simplify our experience by sending me our vouchers ahead of time. In my previous experience, the Viator voucher has been my ticket. This is not the case for this experience.

Very confusing. First, I didn’t know I was buying big bus tix too. Second, when I bought the tix, I thought what I downloaded was my voucher. Oh no, they still sent me tix which I ignored and erased bc I thought I already had them. Third, it says to meet at 571 post street, then it says ‘do not meet at 571 post’. We had to uber to pier 33 when I could have walked to post street which was the plan and the bus ride to pier 33 was included. But no, everything was changed last minute and it actually cost way more than it was worth. Make sure you know what you’re getting. The cost to Alcatraz shouldn’t cost $350 for two people!!!! Plus the uber to the pier!!!

Apparently there is a fly infestation during sept and oct. I understand that there isn’t much anyone can do about nature but a warning would have been nice. I could not enjoy the day swatting flys by the dozen( not an exaggeration). The workers had nets etc but nothing for the guests. I didn’t even do the cruise that came with it for fear of the flies.

My son wanted to visit the island because of Call of Duty and me because of the history. Seeing his face of amazement and happiness throughout the 2.5 hour walk was pure joy! For me, seeing and being in such a historical place was nothing short of amazing, The audio tour was definitely an added trear to appreciate thr history. We also did Golden Gate Bridge tour and was the seal lion which made the weekend even better! I would say this was a perfect dad and son weekend.

I was able to get a last minute Alcatraz tour ticket through this company. I purchased it combined with a bike rental. The person working there was great He gave me great tips regarding biking through San Francisco and Alcatraz was so interesting. Definitely make sure you listen to the entire audio. I would recommend both of these tours for anyone visiting San Francisco.
