We really enjoyed this trip. Our guide provided lots of interesting facts about the city and its different areas. It was great to cross the Golden Gate bridge, visit Sausalito and the woods were fascinating. The ride down the steep streets was an added bonus.

Booked this tour out of the rest because they offered hotel pick up & drop off, and the convenience of that was what I needed since I had my 7y/o with me. Michael, our tour guide, was very well-versed on the fun-facts of Muir Woods and Sausalito, as well as the neighborhoods we drove by. The stop on the northern side of the Golden Gate Bridge was a great place to snag pics of yourself with the bridge. Muir Woods was also a wonderful experience, so serene and peaceful. The gift shop at the woods closes at 4pm, so we were not able to make any purchases since we opted for the afternoon tour. Also, I do wish we would have had more time in Sausalito (there’s an option to stay longer and take the ferry, but after a long hike in Muir Woods, we preferred the ease of having Michael drop us off at our hotel). I booked the tour on Viator, and the only option was to book it as a National Park Pass holder, which I am not…so I did have to purchase my ticket at the welcome center-which I expected I would need to. It was $15 for adults, and children are free-please check on their website what the age is. I would highly recommended this tour, but I would opt for the morning option next time and stay longer in Sausalito and take a ferry back. Either way, we still really enjoyed ourselves!

Great tour guide, very knowledgeable & made the trip fun. Pick up arrangements were changed at the last minute which was a bit of a problem as I never got the messages until I logged on to the nearest hotel WiFi.

A few things: Van has AC, restrooms are at all the stops, and this is a great tour for a half day! We enjoyed pictures and views of Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods (about 1.5hrs allotted for this), and a walk in Sausalito (about an hour here). Our tour guide was personable, knowledgeable, and very funny! Would recommend this tour to anyone looking

This was my favorite part of my trip to San Francisco. Peter was very knowledgeable and took us to the best spots. He gave us plenty of time and clear directions. Also his recommendations for restaurants in Sausalito were excellent. Don’t hesitate to book this outing. You have plenty of time to see everything and the ferry ride back from Sausalito is lovely!

Tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. I only docked a star because the van was a rental and not the usual vehicle. I appreciate that they decided to continue with trip and not cancel due to vehicle issues.

This wasn't a great experience and I would not use this tour company again. First, three of us were booked for a Saturday afternoon tour of Muir Woods and Sausalito that we had reserved months in advance. I received a call the night before saying that we were the only ones who had signed up for the afternoon tour and trying to pressure me to join the 8am tour where he did have other customers. I told him we had other plans in the morning and declined. During the tour, driving over the Golden Gate Bridge, the tour driver noted how it was a popular spot for committing suicide. While this is true and widely known, I don't think it's a great thing to mention in a tour, especially with a kid in the car. Then as we headed through the Robin Williams Tunnel, the driver again mentioned that the comedian had committed suicide. Why on earth was this necessary? Do not recommend.

The tour was closer to 5.5 hours but so worth it. Communication prior to the tour was great and our guide, Michael, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about so many things on the tour that really added to the site seeing!

Unfortunately the rain made it impossible to see and enjoy the beauty of the woods. I believe that we should be refunded half of the cost. Because of the inclement weather the tour should have been cancelled. It was unfortunate.

Great day out. Amazing views of Golden Gate Bridge. Tour guide was excellent. Muir Woods were fantastic, peaceful and incredible to see the redwoods. Also saw a deer, chipmunk and woodpecker. We took the option to go back on the boat which was great as saw the sun setting over the Golden Gate Bridge. Highly recommend
