Our tour to Muir Woods was incredible. Walking among those towering redwoods was breathtaking, peaceful, and unforgettable.
Jeffrey was a fantastic guide. He's funny, friendly, and clearly knows his stuff, and he kept the whole group laughing and engaged from start to finish. He took us to some great spots we probably would not have found on our own and kept adding more to the list.
He was also considerate. I was running late, and he waited for me without any fuss. He answered every question we had, gave helpful recommendations for the rest of our trip, and made sure everyone's interests and comfort were looked after.
Highly recommend this tour, and ask for Jeffrey!

It started with a tour of hot spots in the city and then we headed to Muir Woods. Muir Woods was beautiful, I wished we could have stayed there longer because 1 hr was not enough time. Parts of the city tour could have been cut back to give us more time at Muir Woods. Overall, wonderful trip and excursion!

Jake was a great guide who was both informative and entertaining. He also had great dining recommendations that led us to delicious food at reasonable (for San Francisco) prices. The length of the trip was just right at every stop. We were able to see the magnificent trees without the challenging hiking described in some of the all day tours. The city tours on the way to and from the woods was as thorough as the hop on/hop off bus, just without the hopping.. But, it gave a good overview of what you could go back to for a more in depth visit. Highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour of the city, golden gate and muir woods. Our guide Kevin was amazing, very knowledgeable, great driving on the winding roads. Lucky to see some deer, a coyote and turkeys at Muir.
super great! learned a bunch of fun facts along the way. we had the earlier time so we stopped in sausalito and took the ferry back which was really fun and i’d recommend it! cute place to stope and grab lunch!

I liked this one because you got a little bit more time at the woods instead of shopping time in Sausalito. Dylan was knowledgeable about the area and was a great tour guide.

The walk was excellent but should of had more time at the woods.. spent a lot of time upfront touring San Francisco which was ok but would of liked to spend that time at the woods

Muir Woods was my kids' favorite part of our first time in San Francisco. Our guide, Kevin packed such fun information and trivia into the tour. You can tell he loves San Francisco and you can never go wrong with a guide that loves his city. He made us love San Francisco more!
We appreciated all the other things on the route before heading to Muir Woods. Chinatown, San Francisco neighborhoods, Lombard Street, Little Italy, a stop ti see the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts.

Our tour guide (Ro) was friendly and fun!! The trip was everything I hoped for and more. He drove us thru San Francisco with stops at beautiful locations and told story after story of what we were seeing. Ro is an expert at what to see, do, and eat in the city. We then crossed the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Forest - We had plenty of time at each stop to see everything. Nice job!!!

Great Experience once find them but Kevin had phone numbers and would not leave without everyone! Kevin is very knowledgeable of San Francisco's history and you can tell how proud he is of his city! We were running a little late so, he even got me back in time to meet my cruise that was leaving at 6:30 pm even though we didn't miss any of tour. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The tour combined a very informative and entertaining drive-by of many of the main San Francisco sights with the drive to Muir Woods. We had a good amount of time at Muir Woods to walk the paths and be among the grand redwoods. We choose to get off the bus in Sausalito for lunch and the ferry back to San Francisco.
Our guide, Kevin, was great. A native San Franciscan who knew and loves his city. He both informed and entertained. A great experience.
Entrance to Muir Woods is not included. If you have a National Parks pass don’t forget to bring it.

This isn't a bad tour, but the vibe wasn't for us. It started with a drive past famous homes and sites before the first stop at Golden Gate. Our guide had a shtick of SF jokes (everyone drives a Prius, real estate is so expensive, people all have dogs instead of kids) that got old and we still had 3 hours to go.
Muir woods was a peaceful spot for a walk through redwoods, but you need to do a longer hike to get to any lookout spots--not a knock against the tour company but something to note.
Overall we wished we'd taken a car on our own since the non-stop banter was not for us (sort of like spending 4 hours with a radio DJ...)

My daughter and I took the four-hour Muir Woods tour through Viator and it ended up being a highlight of our San Francisco trip. Our guide, Jeffrey, was exceptional: personable, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. I expected simple transport and a nature stop, but Jeffrey gave us a mini city tour on the way, with stories and context as we passed through Chinatown, North Beach, the Presidio, and more. He even made a photo stop at Billionaire's Row with gorgeous views. At Muir Woods, he made everything smooth, with clear instructions and plenty of time to explore at our own pace. If you want to experience Muir Woods without dedicating an entire day, I highly recommend this tour, especially with Jeffrey.

Our reserved Muir Woods entry time can occasionally change, and when we receive a later time slot, we use the additional time to explore more of San Francisco rather than having guests wait around. This can mean seeing neighborhoods such as Chinatown, North Beach, and the Presidio, along with an additional scenic photo stop.

Amazing sightseeing tour with Dylan. His stories about growing up in San Francisco and local knowledge was great and had nice couple of local San Francisco stops before Muir Woods. Perfect amount of time to see the Muir Woods and the opportunity to stay in Sausalito was great. The ferry from Sausalito back is easy and gives you chance to see Alcatraz Island and Golden Gate Bridge as well.

This narrative tour includes not only beautiful Muir Woods, but a historical and picturesque tour of San Francisco districts located near the Golden Gate Bridge. Taking the shuttle was so helpful since there were some winding roads going to breathtaking Muir Woods. Grab this opportunity to see the inspiring redwood trees if you are able; it’s an incredible majestic experience. Tour was very organized and Roger communicated some very helpful tips along the way. Roger was such a fun, informative guide, so welcoming with a big heart! We did not realize our Muir Woods experience would include a city tour as well. We had already done one with another company but Dylan Tours and Jules as our guide was FAR SUPERIOR. Wonderful tidbits about neighborhoods and city life here, interesting route, and fantastic narration with Jules. He was not the pretentious memorized tour guide but made it casual as if you were just driving in his vehicle and he talked you through a tour of the city. Muir Woods was the advertised focus of the tour, but the entire tour, lasting 5 hours, was so much more. Thanks to Dylan Tours, Jules, and others on the trip for a wonderful San Fran experience. When I return I will definitely go to Dylan Tours first for my next guided experience.

Our tour guide was Jeffrey. I was traveling with my Mom and daughter. Jeffrey took us through so many neat neighborhoods on our way to the woods, it crossed off several of the things we wanted to see during our trip!
