Expect pickup between 9:30am and 10:15, depending on where your group and other groups are staying that day. I offer pickup from hotels and home shares anywhere in the downtown area (Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, SOMA etc.) I cannot offer pickup outside of downtown or outside of San Francisco (at airport hotels, for example). If you will be driving into SF for your tour it's easiest to meet at the RIU Plaza Fisherman's Wharf. There are many flat rate lots in the area where you can leave your car while you are on tour. If you will be taking transit, plan to meet at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero. It's directly above the Drumm Street exit from the BART/Muni Embarcadero Station.

Itinerary

Following pickup from your San Francisco accommodation, set off with just your guide and a small group.

Over the course of half a day, hunt down some of the city's best sights and attractions. Take in the panoramic views from atop Twin Peaks, gawk at the monumental Palace of Fine Arts ,and visit some of the city’s quirkiest neighborhoods.

With your professional guide at the wheel, learn fun facts and tidbits about the people and places that make San Francisco so unique. Your guide can easily adapt your tour to visit the attractions you most want to see (or that many locals don’t know even about), sometimes even incorporating events that happen to be taking place that day.

After a half day out, return to your San Francisco hotel.

A Great Tour of San Francisco

Eric was very knowledgeable and very interesting. It is obvious that he enjoys his job a lot so he makes effort to take you to 'out of the way' places with great views, great stories. He knows everyone by name and makes it a comfortable environment. The open-air vehicle is great for taking IG-worthy photos. You go to SO MANY places in 4 hours. He even gives great lunch recos and intel on lots of other city highlights. Highly recommend if you want to see all SF has to offer.

A great way to see quite a few tourist attractions from SF in a time bound manner.

Had taken a similar tour back in 2012 when one of my close friends had come to visit me. It was a big learning experience back then! A great introduction to the city, its culture, history & heritage. So, now my best friend was going to visit me & it was his first trip to SF! So, taking a similar tour again seemed quite sensible. We were be able to cover all the top tourist attractions in a timely manner & later revisited the places which interested us the most! Efficient way to manage time! One thing I do remember was that the volume was a little low for me & I missed out on a few of the amazing stories from the tour. I will definitely be requesting him to increase the volume for me, the next time take this tour :) Overall it was an Amazing experience & nicely managed!
