Great tour of Rome!

This tour was a fantastic introduction to Rome. We took the tour on the same day we flew in and it really helped us acclimate to the location of everything and determine what sights we wanted to return and see. Alex was a fantastic guide! One of the highlights was when she took us to her favorite gelato spot — and it definitely did not disappoint! Great catacombs excursion! I would do it again.

Really great trip here. Super creepy at times. I didn't read the description...just knew I wanted to go to the catacombs to see where the early Christ-followers had been buried. I would go to this again. Really great. The trip was in 3 parts. The first was the creepy part - some group of monks had taken some bones of early Christians and done some strange artwork with them. You'll never see anything like that again except maybe in a haunted house. The guide was great all the way through and knowledgable, but not over-intense. He was light and made the trip fun and sometimes funny. The catacombs were awesome...worth the trip. Then a 3rd stop was at an old church with an even MUCH older house under it. Cool stop showing how the early church met. Great excursion. I highly recommend it!

What a great way to get introduced to Rome - and really Italy as a whole. The tour was well paced, with a nice balance of relaxed conversation and interesting history and culture. Our driver, John, was knowledgeable without overdoing it, and he made the experience feel personal rather than scripted. He also navigated the city smoothly and safely, which definitely added to the overall comfort of the tour. I’ll be raising a glass of wine tonight in his honor. Colossal!!

Of course, the Colosseum and the Forum are fantastic, I’ve been there before. You did spend a whole lot of time talking about the palace, I would’ve preferred a little more information on the forum for my friend who had never been there before. But for what we purchased, you did a fantastic job. Sometimes some of the very technical archeology information was a little too much and unnecessary. But aside from that again, it was wonderful. I still give it a five stars. Everyone was timely and polite and gracious and able to walk the long long distance that we walked. It was exactly what we expected. Grazia!

I had a wonderful time with this tour. Our tour guide Alessandra helped us make it inside the Vatican as swift as possible considering how hectic the entrance can be. In this tour you’ll be able to take a shortcut to get you to the Sistine chapel and another for Saint Peter’s Basilica. It’s a nice detail considering how many people visit the Vatican everyday. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient with everyone. Highly recommend.

Great tour and hope Olga is your guide

Very informative and the guides are incredible. It was a treat to have Olga as our guide for the Vatican portion of the tour. This tour is full of incredible facts and gives you plenty of time in between to grab lunch and make it to the next tour. I went in June, so be aware of the heat because it is a lot of walking and can be very hot.
