Alessandro was an amazing guide! His historical expertise added so much to our tour experience! He helped us to see more sights than we could have on our own. He knew all the locations for magnificent views of Ancient Rome as well as experience the local flavor! Because of his vast knowledge, he was able to get us into many areas not always seen by others. We could not have seen all the beauty of Rome without him. We highly recommend his driving tour to experience Rome!
Informative, kind, attentive. Took time for those w disabilities to catch up. Was always there w a helping hand. Willing to step in and help take photo opportunities in difficult to get to areas. A true gentleman!
This has to be the absolute best way to see everything on your list and more.. all in a day! Our guide was Claudio and he was absolutely amazing! His knowledge of Rome was superb! I was hesitant at first due to the cost but I have absolutely no regrets. There is no way that we could have seen the sights that we did on our own! We plan to return to Rome and hopefully we can have Claudio as our guide again.

Claudio was the best! What felt like the hottest day ever we were kept busy and entertained throughout. The tour was a good pace, we were able to skip things we’d already seen and got new things added, like the keyhole. We also had a great lunch in a shady area! If your time is limited in Rome, this is the best way to see the sights.

Wonderful and very educational day. We visited many of Rome’s highlights, and the tour was customized to our wishes. We had already visited the Vatican and St. Peter’s basilica, so we saw some added attractions including St. Mary’s and St. John’s basilicas. Our guide, Claudio, was so kind and helpful. He took very good care of us, answered all our questions, and was a real gem to spend the day with.

Great experience and great tour guide. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot while seeing all of our wish list locations! Our guide was fantastic with rearranging so we could experience the cannon and also gave great recommendations for restaurants and shopping and other beautiful sites to see.

It was one of the best tours we have ever taken. Alessandro was excellent! I would highly recommend him, he was very knowledgeable and accommodating for everything we asked him. The 12 highlights of Rome is a great way to learn about the sites and history. Breathtaking views, the 12:00 firing of the cannon, pictures of the historic city and a great conversation about the significance of each site are all in store for you. We had our lunch break Checco Er Carettiere, recommended by Alessandro, and it was quite delicious. We are very glad to have had Alessandro as our tour guide.

Interesting tour with lots of history. The guide was very knowledgeable about all the sights. Although I was unable to physically exert myself to walk to every location due to disability, the historical information was fascinating.

Alessandro was amazing! He picked us up right on time and drove us all over Rome. We saw tons of highlights, then he took us to an authentic Roman lunch and then drove us around some more. We learned tons of history about the city and he could answer any questions we had. I would recommend this tour to any of my family and friends!

This was an awesome tour. Our guide (Claudio) was great. His knowledge of history and how to best maneuver through the crowds was the key.
The best decision I’ve ever made on a vacation. Claudio couldn’t have been nicer or more respectful towards everyone in my family. My mother, sister, wife, daughter, nephew & father in law. Such a wonderful experience! My nephew who’s 15 years old said he’s going to miss him after we got dropped off. My wife said he’s reminds her of her dad. I highly recommend. Claudio again was fantastic!
Claudio was a great guide filled with substantial knowledge. I recommend this experience and urge you to ask a ton of questions because that made the experience that much more enjoyable.

Fortunately, we decided to indulge in the 12 Highlights of Rome tour through Viator/ . It was an amazing private guided tour with native Roman and accomplished historian Claudio! He assured us he was ours for the day and that he would take us to what we wanted to see. He recommended a lovely locals restaurant for our lunch and surprised us with many lesser know wonders as well. We are at a lose for words to fully express how Claudio made our tour and time in Rome extraordinary!

Alessandro was fantastic! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and great at adapting the tour to our interests. This was by far the most efficient way to see all the major highlights and get a feel for the city. It really helped us decide what we wanted to explore more in depth afterward. Highly recommend, especially for your first day in Rome or if you’re short on time.
Out tour guide, Alessandro was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and made the entire experience wonderful. My husband and I had been to Rome before, but we learned more on this one day with him than in all of our other trips combined!! He was great at answering all of our questions and pointed out things that we never would have noticed on our own. The pride he has in his city was evident and we lived sharing his city with him. When we return to Rome, we will make sure to seek him out again! And our driver Alberto was great. We were all amazed at how well he navigated the streets of Rome in his van and always managed to find the perfect parking spot!

Alessandro was a wonderful tour guide. He took me and my college aged children to the top sites in Rome. We had previously seen a few that were on the planned tour, so Alessandro added in some others that he thought we would enjoy - and he was right! Alessandro found a great restaurant to accommodate our dietary restrictions. He even helped us find the perfect store to make a special purchase to remind us of our trip to Rome.
