Alessandro was fantastic! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and great at adapting the tour to our interests. This was by far the most efficient way to see all the major highlights and get a feel for the city. It really helped us decide what we wanted to explore more in depth afterward. Highly recommend, especially for your first day in Rome or if you’re short on time.

Out tour guide, Alessandro was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and made the entire experience wonderful. My husband and I had been to Rome before, but we learned more on this one day with him than in all of our other trips combined!! He was great at answering all of our questions and pointed out things that we never would have noticed on our own. The pride he has in his city was evident and we lived sharing his city with him. When we return to Rome, we will make sure to seek him out again! And our driver Alberto was great. We were all amazed at how well he navigated the streets of Rome in his van and always managed to find the perfect parking spot!

Alessandro was a wonderful tour guide. He took me and my college aged children to the top sites in Rome. We had previously seen a few that were on the planned tour, so Alessandro added in some others that he thought we would enjoy - and he was right! Alessandro found a great restaurant to accommodate our dietary restrictions. He even helped us find the perfect store to make a special purchase to remind us of our trip to Rome. Alessandro also gave us expert advice on the best way to see other sites in our remaining time in Rome. It was a pleasure to spend the day with Alessandro and to benefit from his deep knowledge of Rome and the rich history of Italy. This was a very comprehensive tour of Rome even though just a single day of 7 hours. We know so much more about the city and Italy in spite of reading all we could prior. Claudio was a fantastic guide and chauffeur making sure we maximized our time and filled in massive amounts of interesting facts and history of both Rome and Italy including the culture. Fascinating tour and well worth the price. We saw so much that we thought would not be possible in a single day. November was a perfect time of year. Crowds were small. It took us only 10 minutes to get in to the pantheon because Claudio knew of a special cash only line! Plus Claudio took us to a wonderful place for lunch that was both reasonable and very very delicious! Best tour ever! Thanks Claudio!!!

Marco was beyond professional and knowledgeable!! He treated us as instant friends! He got us close to all the major sights so we didn’t have to walk much in the Rome heat!! We had one day to spend in Roma so booked this tour in order to see the highlights of the city. Marco was an excellent guide. He was kind, knowledgeable and knew the city well. We appreciated him being able to do his best at avoiding the crowds and pivoting when needed. Even if you are spending multiple days in Roma, this is a great way to get to know the city better and then decide where you want to spend more time. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Alessandro was an excellent tour guide and driver. He was very willing to modify the tour to see things that we had booked on a different tour, and to be closer to some sites to accommodate a participant who was having difficulty walking too far. The sights selected were excellent and we felt that we had a comprehensive overview of important sites. I highly recommend this tour for a one day visit, or even if you are in Rome for a few days. It was a wonderful experience and allowed us to get close to a wide variety of beautiful sites.

Overall, the tour was really good. We saw so many places and learned a lot. However, we were doing this as a cruise excursion and trying to coordinate getting to Rome was extremely difficult. Alessandro kept changing what he was saying about pick up from the port and how much it would cost. In the end, he didn’t end up picking us up as we agreed and we had to take the train. The coordination of details before was extremely difficult and definitely did take affect the overall experience.

Dear Julia, you can't buy CHAMPAGNE with the BUDGET OF A BEER. I was immediately clear and honest, as I usually do, about the extra cost to pay for the transfer from Civitavecchia, and you immediately accepted without questions, and the messages we exchanged can testify! Then the day before the tour you voluntarily decided to misunderstand my words to get more than what you paid for! I was ready to come and meet you at the port, but it was your husband Brian who then decided not to pay anymore the extra cost of transfer and instead come in Rome by train! WhatsApp messages and Viator account can both testify! But I am a professional and I apply the same rules to everyone, and I don't understand why I should have made an exception for you! The reviews that my clients and friends have given me are worth much, much more than your UNFAIR words! Of course I hope to never meet people again... like you, I consider you just a bad experience of my wonderful profession!
