Fun and interesting tour

Great way to get an overview of Rome when your time is short. Lorcan was our guide and he was great. He made sure that our tour hit the highlights that we requested and he also made sure we saw a few of his favorites we wouldn't have even known about. His knowledge of the history and archeology of Rome seemed extensive and he made the tour very interesting. Overall a great way to get a snapshot of some Rome highlights.

Antonino was an excellent guide for our Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii day trip. He was engaging from start to finish and shared an incredible amount of information, not only about Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius, but also about Rome and Ancient Rome, which made the experience even more interesting and meaningful. He was very helpful and happy to answer any questions we had throughout the day. Antonino also added a few extra touches and stops along the way, which made the trip even more enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this tour.

Travelers know - the tour guide will make or break your experience. We were so lucky to have Maria from LivTours escorting us through Vatican City. I’m sure barely touch the surface of her knowledge about the stairs and art works in the museum. She amazingly eased us from one area to another despite the crowd. If you want to know religious/Catholic history and customs I would let the tour guide know. I think the guides may try to keep it art historical. Once I asked a couple of questions in the Vatican Maria was happy (and knowledgeable) to give more Papal and Catholic functions of The Basilica. I booked two Rome tours through Viator and each one was amazing.

Do not miss! Hidden Rome gem!

Barbara , our tour guide was excellent and full of information. It was over 3 hours of packed history. Teens will love this tour!!! The extent that our forefathers went to to protect the dead and the living is incredible. Mike's and Mike's of layered underground tombs. The crypts are a testament to a message that life is precious and we should live every minute. A moving experience and very appreciated.

Claudio was an amazing tour guide! We were looking to get the lay of the land in Rome when we first got there and Claudio gave us such great information and history. I'd give 10/5 stars if I could! We originally booked the underground, and Tours of Rome gave us a heads up well in advance that we could either cancel or do their Full Experience tour (at a discounted price, equivalent), and were very communicative with any questions we had. Cristina was an amazing tour guide, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and even took us on a couple of side quests since we were making good time. The amount that we learned looking back and reflecting was amazing, and her being part of the archaeological community really gives her a cut above a standard tour guide. Couldn't recommend this tour company in general, and if you get to go on a tour with Cristina, you're in for a massive treat!!

Our tour Guide Kasha was friendly, had good English language skills, and was knowledgeable about Rome’s history, architecture and social/religious/political events. She wove antidotes into these historical narratives.. The tour consisted of must see places like the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, but also included hidden gems and secret passageways. We’d highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was wonderful! She answered all of our questions & gave us so much interesting information throughout the tour. We also got gelato as part of the tour which was really nice also. You get to see so many sites and learn about them and she knows the best ways to get around so it doesnt take you all day either. If your going to rome, especially for the 1st time this tour is a must in my opinion.

The experience and the guide were amazing! Plenty of time to see the area we toured and take pics and great information on the history and restoration. She was wonderful and gave bathroom breaks!! I had a wonderful time with this tour. Our tour guide Alessandra helped us make it inside the Vatican as swift as possible considering how hectic the entrance can be. In this tour you’ll be able to take a shortcut to get you to the Sistine chapel and another for Saint Peter’s Basilica. It’s a nice detail considering how many people visit the Vatican everyday. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient with everyone. Highly recommend.

Great tour and hope Olga is your guide

Very informative and the guides are incredible. It was a treat to have Olga as our guide for the Vatican portion of the tour. This tour is full of incredible facts and gives you plenty of time in between to grab lunch and make it to the next tour. I went in June, so be aware of the heat because it is a lot of walking and can be very hot.
