Dark History Tour with our guide Dan Salve was a one in a life time experience. Sila was very knowledgable and knew lots of information about the history, design and architecture. We found it very helpful and presented a new perspective. I have been to Rome before but this was my wife’s first time. Sila shared so much information that I did not know and enjoyed the tour as a seasoned traveler to Rome while my wife was a first timer and absorbed the information from the lens of a newcomer. This was perfect walking tour of Rome. Exactly what I was hoping for! Sharon was exceptional. She gave a lot of historical and cultural information while keeping it very interesting and fun. We greatly appreciated her keeping us in the shade and avoiding major crowds as much as possible as it was a very hot day. Loved exploring the side roads in Rome!!

After getting off to a rough start, we enjoyed this tour. The meeting location of the tour was confusing. The app told us to meet at Piazza Novana. Then, I received a text with a link with a pic of a park and to meet at Piazza d'Aracoeli. Based on the app we had the taxi driver take us to Piazza Novana. We had no idea that these were two different locations. We had to run to Piazza d'Aracoeli in order to meet the tour. Luckily for us, the group had not left.
Once the tour got under way, the tour guide, Sharon, was wonderful. She was knowledgeable of the history and kept a pace that allowed everyone in the tour to keep up. We ended the tour a little later than expected, but no one cared and continued to ask questions even after the tour was over.

Dimara(20) was exceptional!! She knew the history and fantasies regarding the sites we visited. Her stories and insights made the time pass much too quickly. Her English was better than that of many Americans--one would not guess it is not her native tongue. We were sad to say good night. ( (The only snag was not her fault--the brochure said that tours starting before 5:30pm would be able to enter the Pentagon for an additional fee --but Dimara was unaware of this until we showed her the advertisement and did not plan time for this.)

Very small group on our tour, just four total plus Domenica our guide. Nice intro to one group piece of Rome for 2 hours and an affordable price. Domenica picked good spots to stop and pre explain things to us before getting to busy spots like trevi fountain.

Good walking tour of the city, focused on introducing lesser known places to visit. Dan was knowledgeable. Unfortunately many sites were being renovated in preparation for the jubilee in December. In retrospect I might have been better off just exploring and having a passagiata on my own.

Our guide was Paulina who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She pointed out many things and was happy to answer questions.
It was a good overview of the just some of the monuments and history in Rome. The tour was for 2 hours just the right amount of time
