Emanuel was an exceptional guide and an incredible storyteller who brought the history, culture, and significance of each place to life. Without his knowledge and guidance, so much of what we saw would have been lost or gone unappreciated. He made every stop more meaningful and engaging. Emanuel also went above and beyond by treating us to some delicious local sweet pastries, which was such a thoughtful and authentic touch. The car ride was very comfortable, and the tour was well-paced, giving us enough free time to explore on our own while still benefiting from his expert guidance. If you're considering a trip to Sintra, I highly recommend this tour—especially if you're lucky enough to have Emanuel as your guide!

Ask for Luis as your guide

The tour was very well timed and we missed the crowds so felt relaxed. Luis Oliveira our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, it was like being taken round with a local who you'd know for years. He took us into places where you wouldn't have gone if you didn't have the inside knowledge. This day was the highlight of our trip to Lisbon.

Beautiful way to see a beautiful sunset

In all the reviews, everyone mentions how cold they can get on the boat. Do not ignore that warning as it was 90° when we got to the pier and the temperature dropped fast. I did bring a warm sweater so I really enjoyed the trip. the music was good and the crew very nice. It was just the right amount of time to be on the river waiting for the sunset and to see the beautiful statues and buildings along the way.

Must Experience Sites

I love this tour with three main places to visit (Fatima, Nazare and Obidos). But our driver who was very experienced, made a side trip to Batalla where we visited one of the old and magnificient Medieval Cathedrals. I ended up buying some souvenur clothings here. This happened on the 14th of August where Fatima is not crowded. Here I was able to visit the graves of Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco at the Basilica. Nazare offers a breathtaking view of the ocean where we entered a small chapel with an old image of the Blessed Mother Mary. Below at the beachside I savored a feast of fresh fish and Portuguese cuisines. At Obidos, I experienced tasting the ginger chocolate wine and the walk towards an old castle of the Queen. Very beautiful. The trip is HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE especially to first timers in Portugal. I enjoyed every bit of it.

The River cruise was...

The River cruise was fantastic! Our guide Taigo (probably spelled wrong) was extremely informative and entertaining. It was nice to have time to both learn about the historic sites and relax and enjoy the view. Taigo was able to answer all our questions as well. The added drinks and cheese were a nice touch as well. This small group cruise was very enjoyable and not crowded at all. The whole crew was very helpful and kind. We had a great time and would recommend!

Absolutely incredible experience!! Sonny and Dennis were the best guides! The vibe was amazing immediately from pick up all the way to drop off! The views were spectacular and the caves were beautiful! Be warned the water is very cold but the coffee and cookies provided go down really well! Ps! If you’re looking for the best deep fried cuttlefish the cafe on the beach is the place! 100/10 best activity in Portugal!

Great way to see Lisbon, especially with Lucas

Two adults + two children ages 8 and 12 absolutely loved the tour. Lucas was exceptionally knowledgable on Lisbon including the history and the architecture. His love for his home city was evident throughout the tour. We arrived in Lisbon for a half day on Saturday and then did this tour first thing on Sunday. It really helped us to understand the city’s layout and to get a sense for how else we were going to spend remaining free time in the city. Lucas set the bar high for other tours during our stay in Portugal and the family agreed we were glad we had him to kick off our vacation.

So much fun

Surfing the clean, consistent waves off the coast of Portugal has been a dream of mine for a long time, and today I did it!! Thank you Decio and your team! Decio arranged a time for the trip that would be best for surf conditions. I was picked up close to my accommodation in Lisbon, and dropped off there after the adventure. Wetsuit and board were provided, and they were great. The actual session was so much fun. We were just two students, so very safe. The coach reminded us of good technique and had us practice on the sand before we did a quick warm up, and hit the waves. After a few failed attempts, I finally made it up and was flying! Everyone cheered and I couldn’t stop laughing. After that, it felt easy. The beach is so beautiful, the coaches so helpful, and everyone made me feel very welcome. I loved it. Five stars, do recommend!!

Great trip to historic Templar sites

We had a very satisfying trip with our driver/guide Hugo. He was very well informed and professional. He even added a drive out to the Aquaduct dos Pegoes per our request. We appreciated being able to choose our own lunch spot and free time to buy souvenirs. Hugo gave us a lot of Templar history and answered all our questions.

Great trip

The staff were really friendly and loaned us jackets as it gets really cold in the wind! There isnt a bad seat on the boat so there’s no fighting over the view. We spotted dolphins (with babies!) within half an hour. We had no luck out as sea as conditions were too rough but this didn’t spoil our experience. We really enjoyed the speedboat experience as a bonus!
