Our guide was great. She was engaging, funny, and kind. She told us about Lisbon’s history as we we sailed across the water, which was super interesting. The views are beautiful, weather was great, and they even provided blankets to those of us who felt a little chilly in the breeze. 10/10 recommend!

This is the second time my husband and I did the Sunset Sail with Palma Yachts via Viator. Captain Miguel and Benny took great care of our family of six on this sail. The views of Lisbon from the water are beautiful and it was a family friendly activity. Our children are teens and young adults and everyone had a great time. Benny is a biologist by background and she shared so much information about the history of Lisbon and wove in great details about the environment. This has become a favorite activity of ours when visiting Lisbon. We highly recommend!

My mom and I did this sailing cruise our last night in Lisbon and it was fabulous! Benny and John were very knowledgeable and friendly - we learned a lot about Lisbon and its history! Seeing the city from the water as well was a totally different perspective, it was really great. I would highly recommend doing this cruise with them - we had a great group, learned a lot, and had a fantastic time despite it being a bit less-than-ideal conditions (rainy day and very windy).

This was the highlight of our trip to Lisbon and easily goes down as top 10 experiences in traveling. Benny and Mateus made this sail the experience of a lifetime. Relaxing drinks, music, and history lesson along the way. Small group - comfortable seating even for the "old folks" on the cruise. Felt safe and no motion sickness at all. Couldn't ask for anything more ... we could have done this over and over!

Captain Beni and Mate Duarte were very capable and pleasant. The 36’ boat was clean and well-maintained. Captain Beni’s narration on the riverfront’s statues, buildings and history was informative and interesting. She was very knowledgeable. They had blankets to keep passengers warm after the sunset, and it did get quite chilly. We got some great pictures of the golden sunset over the river, bridge and Christ statue. It was an enjoyable 2 hours which gave us a different perspective on the Belém/Lisbon area.

The boat left, I was in the location and I was waiting that someone would call me. Nobody called and they left. I called the operator in time to check if someone there u pick me up and thats when he said boat left. They don’t even call on the phone and we tourist come from long distances and don’t even have time to visit again. What a shame! And operator was even adamant to call up the staff and check if I can board it. So unprofessional!

Dear Shashank, We are sorry you were unable to join the sunset sailing tour you had booked with us. For all of our tours, boarding is required 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time (17:30 for a 17:45 sailing). This is not only stated on Viator’s website when you book the tour, but also repeated on your ticket under “Ticket redemption instructions,” and again in the reminder we sent you. This 15-minute window is essential for check-in, boarding, and an on-time departure. As this is a shared group experience, we cannot delay the boat for late arrivals, as it would be unfair to other guests who arrived punctually and would risk missing the fixed sunset schedule. Regarding your note that you called “in time”: according to our phone records, your call was received at 17:53, after the boat had already departed. At that stage, boarding was no longer possible. You arrived 23 minutes late to the meeting point. You also asked the skipper to interrupt the cruise and return to the dock for you to board. This would have been highly unprofessional and unfair to the other guests who had already checked in on time and begun their experience. Because we take our professionalism very seriously, we make sure to clearly inform clients of the importance of arriving on time. This allows us to respect the experience of all other guests who book our group tours. Punctuality is essential for the smooth running of our tours. Warm regards, The Palmayachts Team

It was ok, mainly disappointed as I expected a bit more having paid more for this trip than others advertised. We got one drink and no food, and on the other trips that were cheaper you got one or even two drinks plus nibbles or a pastry. Guides were very friendly, and gave us some facts.

We could not have asked for more. Friendly, informative and open to sharing. Luis was the Captain par excellence. He made each person welcome and safe. It was smooth sailing and even a nervous passenger who says he has ALWAYS been sea sick on a boat enjoyed himself immensely. He was interested in us as people not just passengers. John had a fresh way of sharing history that flowed from him with enthusiasm and poise- always ready to be of assistance to the Captain when needed. He took time to answer questions with nuance and humor. We were the lucky ones to sail with these sailors!

It was a highlight of our time in Lisbon! Even though it became for of a fog tour than a sunset cruise... we had a blast! Vasco was knowledgeable and a wonderful host! We got to play our own playlist and had such a fun singalong! Highly rec!!
