Manuel was wonderful! We arrived late to our private tour and he was very accommodating. His puppy Apollo was so cute! The best part of the trip was Manuel’s stories and fun vibe! Highly recommend for a private yet fun adventure.

bait and switch - old jerry-rigged boat

Communication from the company wasn't good. They didn't respond to any of my messages until just before the tour started. The first thing they said was that there was no bathroom onboard, which was surprising. I wouldn't expect a 2 hour sailboat tour to lack at a minimum a portable toilet, but ideally a permanent restroom. This was especially concerning since we had a 4yo child with us. The boat we received wasn't what's pictured. Instead of a modern sailboat, we found ourselves on an old wooden boat that had a jerry-rigged setup. Very disappointing. Additionally, the crew kept coming over and talking to us, rather than respecting our privacy. The sunset itself is of course very beautiful. They need to be more honest about the condition of the boat they're offering.

Manuel and Filipa have been amazing at communicating where and what time. They were very friendly and knowledgeable but at the same time provided privacy for us to enjoy the experience. We especially enjoyed the company of Captain Apollo (their dog) who was absolutely behaved. Highly recommended!

Exactly as advertised (honestly more) and I would recommend it to anyone. As a tip, go early in your stay as our crew (thank you Manuel and Joao) provide some interesting ideas for further visits and sightseeing as you go along.

Manuel was responsive before the trip, ensuring we met at the right place and time to begin the tour. His partner joined us and was very funny and knowledgeable about Portuguese history. They both made this a memorable experience for my wife and I. Also, the boat is clean, you can have control over the music, the privacy for my wife & I was particularly special, and the views were unbelievable. Highly recommend!!

This experience was awesome! We showed up 30 minutes late from our departure time and the owner was incredibly patient and understanding! We had excellent wine and great cheeses and meats. We saw great landmarks and learned interesting facts about lisbon and history. We both felt safe and had great directions to locate the proper dock area. It was my girlfriends birthday and they even surprised her with a cake! I cannot recommend a better romantic date if you get a chance. Dress warm because it does get quite cold however they were even prepared for that and provided us with blankets.

Joao and his partner were so incredibly friendly and attentive, it was just my husband and I on the sailboat and we were so happy to have this intimate experience. They were experienced sailors and extremely interesting and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this over the large boat with many people experience.

Great sunset cruise even though the sun was hiding. Manuel and his first mate were excellent giving us a unique tour of Lisbon from the river with the added bonus of wine, cheese, and meat. Would definitely do this excursion again!

My husband and I spent his 30th birthday in Lisbon and I booked the private sunset tour for him as a surprise. The communication ahead was great. We were really lucky with the weather since it stopped raining before the tour started. The crew was great, explained a bit about the different monuments and gave us some privacy to enjoy the view, the wine and the snacks. My husband loved it and I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for something special. Thank you to the team for a great experience! :)

Very knowledgeable and professional crew! We had a great time cruising with our group of 7! The boat was comfortable and the charcuterie board was delicious. We had messaged the tour about wine and were told that we didn’t need to bring any because it was 1 bottle of wine to 2 people. We had 2 bottles for 7 people which was less a glass per person for 2 hours.
