Your tour begins with hotel pickup in Lisbon and transportation on board an air-conditioned vehicle with Wi-Fi through the lush forests surrounding Sintra to Pena Palace and Park. Enjoy a guided palace tour with plenty of opportunities to snap photos of its remarkable architecture.
Next, head to the UNESCO-listed historic center of Sintra and enjoy free time to browse its shops, sample local gourmet specialties, and take in the top sights. Then continue on to Cascais—with a short stop at Cabo da Roca to take in the view—where you can have lunch (own expense) or relax on the beach before the return drive along the Estoril Coast to Lisbon.

Expect a dedicated guide who possess a wealth of knowledge a love for his country (Portugal) and shares that knowledge freely. Luis takes your needs and requests and makes them a priority. There is some walking required and some is up steep cobblestone walkways but to be expected considering the palace location. Follow the recommendation to be EARLY.

Luis Rodriquez was an amazing tour guide. Tremendous energy and knowledge. He toured us through Pena Palace and gave such interesting information. He assisted us to get a table at the Piquita Bakery in Sintra to have the pillow pastry (delicious). We then went to Cape de Roca. Many roads to Cascais were closed due to an Ironman competition however he found a route and parking which allowed us to experience this beautiful seaside town. A great experience for us.

When the palace was closed due to fire management our guide Luis stepped it up and still gave us an amazing day out. He seemed to just go with the flow and seek out local spots to show us that normally you wouldn’t get on this tour.
