Your evening on the water begins at a convenient location in the center of Lisbon: Meet your vessel near Commerce Square (Praça do Comércio), and hop aboard. Rather than an anonymous yacht, you’ll travel in style aboard a hand-painted, historic ship.
Once you set sail on the Tagus River, fill your glass with local white wine, and enjoy a celebratory way to mark the occasion (or make a romantic toast); you’ll have the opportunity to refill it as the journey continues.
Find a prime viewing spot on the ship while it’s still light out, and glide under the city’s iconic 25 de Abril Bridge. You can also take photos of highlights like the Belém Tower (Torre de Belém), Castelo de Sao Jorge (St. George’s Castle), and Lisbon Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa). As you go, your on-board host will share in-depth stories about the landmarks in several languages.
Finally, to cap off the experience, take in views of the Lisbon sunset that are even better than what you can see from the shore. Once darkness descends, disembark directly at your starting point.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on the sunset boat tour—it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The views were breathtaking, especially as the sun began to set and cast beautiful colors across the water and skyline.
The atmosphere on board was relaxed and enjoyable, with just the right balance of comfort and fun. The crew was friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone felt welcome and taken care of throughout the entire experience.
It was the perfect way to unwind and take in the beauty of the surroundings from a different perspective. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and peaceful experience—don’t miss it!

The staff was so friendly and fun. The cruise was so great for the views, this history, and of course the vino!
I enjoyed this but the trip was sold with an image of a Portuguese sailboat under sail. Turns out we just motored. Not the experience that was sold to me. Important to me as a bloke who sailed the Atlantic departing Horta, Azores.
Every other yacht was sailing so can’t blame conditions. The boat was simply not rigged to sail. Regrettable
It was a nice boat ride . Nothing fancy. Great tour guide. He told the history of the city through out the whole trip, pointing out every single site that we would had missed. They offer wine through the whole trip. It was a nice bay trip. It lasted two hours. Enjoyed the sunset. We got great pictures
This tour was just as described. 2 hours of seeing the beautiful city of Lisbon from the water. Wine was included a well as water but if you want something else or snacks best take then with you. The sunset was just beautiful and we got exactly what we wanted from this tour.
- The location of the tour changed
- The line system was poorly organised - two different tours by two different companies. When we asked where to line up the lady said, “You need to respect the line system.” She then proceeded to make two lines and people pushed in front of us as it was so confusing - I’m just glad we were not at the end of the line.
- The boat did not leave until 7:50 when we were told to be there promptly at 7:25 because the boat leaves at 7:30.
- The boat was overcrowded to the point that two people at the back refused to get on it - we would have done the same if we were towards the back of the line - it needed at least ten fewer people on board.
- It was not a two hour journey.
- The tour itself was fairly pleasant despite being crammed and the guide was informative and there was plenty of wine for everyone.
This was such a great welcome into Lisbon! The tour operators were great and knowledgeable. The experience was fantastic and really worthwhile, and the views were extraordinary. Highly recommended !
Nice cruise along the Tagus to take in some of the sights if Lisbon including the bridge, Discovery monument and Belém fortress.
Great guide, but very much a crowded experience so expect it to be very loud and very cramped.
You should try this trip. With a traditional boat you could feel like a fishmen doing your job. Becarefull with a little bit of ưave, wet salt but funny as you can image. Try this, never regret.
Very relaxing cruise in a tradional boat. A great way to see Lisbon from the water and also see the sunset.
This your left 30 minutes late which would have been no big deal but it was suppose to be two hours long and they came back to dock after one hour and ten minutes with zero explanation. In addition, it said free flowing wine which ran out at the 50 minute mark. Do not do this tour with this company, it did not live up to the promise in which I will be charging back the cost.
It's a 42 seating and it's cramped needs less people
On our particular tour the microphone wasn't working we couldn't hear let them know if they could turn down the loud music so we at the back could hear but they didn't bother
This was such a top/notch experience in Lisbon. Everyone on the tour was so friendly. I loved enjoying golden hour and sunset from this vantage point of Lisbon. I truly think it’s one of the best ways to see the city! The guides were so helpful, and the drinks were plentiful!!
The departure point of the trip changed but the vendor kept us fully informed.
The trip was enjoyed by all in our party and the wine offered was pretty tasty too.
The PA system was not working on the boat , so no commentary during the trip but that did not bother our party .
All in all , worth the money.
We had a great sunset too.
We went to the location given to us via emails and text. Agreed to time to meet was 6:15, we were there at 5:50. Did not see anyone and went to the information desk to find where the operator was parked. She told us the operator no longer uses this location and they should have contacted me. We tried to call the operator 7 times , no answer. The lady ate the info desk tried to call the operator at least 6 times and no answer. The operator sent me a text the next day saying he was sorry we did not make the boat. I sent a reply text as I stated above. He then replied saying they changed location and they tried calling me, sent texts to me and sent a message on what’s up. I looked at all my calls and was no phone call to me. If they tried to call they should have left a voice mail. No voice mails
I do not use what’s up. I have asked for a refund but no reply on that!!!!!!! I do not do business this way and certainly do like being lied to!
Overall was a very pleasant experience. The tour guide was amazing. Very nice and, knowledgeable. Downside was not much to see along the shores.
This was such a lovely chilled, friendly way to see the sunset from the river. Lovely crew, generous amounts of wine (!), great playlist, warm friendly atmosphere and the traditional boat was a bonus. Smaller group and not a “party” vibe - just lovely. Top trip - book it!!
I loved the whole experience!! Good communication. I went solo, had 3/4 white wine refills (they also have red wine), and I ended the evening with 4 other lovely women. 10/10 experience for my last day in Lisbon
Fun, fun, fun! Our guide, Elisa, spoke with every person on the boat while narrating the sunset cruise in three languages. Regardless of where you sit, you can get a great picture of the sights. Lots of wine, good music, singing, and fun people.
Just a nice experience; great crew, nice older sail/fishing boat ( using engine for cruise ) .... Beautiful sunset; nice music; intelligent staff..
I would strongly advise anyone thinking about booking this sunset cruise to save their money and, more importantly, their safety. What was supposed to be a relaxing evening turned into a stressful and genuinely hazardous experience from the moment we arrived.
Security and safety are clearly not a priority for this operator. The boarding process was absolute chaos at a poorly lit, overcrowded pier with no staff directing the crowd. Once on board, I was horrified to see the boat was packed far beyond what looked like a safe capacity. There was no safety briefing, and I couldn't even spot where the life jackets were kept. To make matters worse, there was zero security. Feeling trapped on a wooden boat in the middle of the Tagus with a crew that seemed indifferent to passenger counts is a recipe for disaster.
The logistics were equally abysmal. The "meeting point" instructions were completely wrong, leading a group of us to wander aimlessly while the operator ignored our urgent WhatsApp messages. When we finally found the boat, the "traditional" charm turned out to be a lack of basic maintenance. The deck was slippery, the bathrooms were foul, and the "white wine" was cheap, lukewarm vinegar served in flimsy plastic cups.
Please do not prioritize payment over well-being. Don't be fooled by the glossy photos - this is an unorganized, overbooked, and unsafe operation. If you value your safety and your sanity, do not book this trip.
We really enjoyed this sunset cruise. The crew was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable, and the beautiful old boat made the whole experience feel special. The free‑flowing wine and great music set the perfect vibe.
It struck just the right balance between a light, informative tour (ideal if you only have a few days in Lisbon but want to lay eyes on many of the major sights) and simply relaxing and enjoying the river at golden hour.
We had great fun on this lovely old boat. The wine was free flowing and the young girl who gave the commentary was excellent.
Fun cruise with beautiful sunsets. Cruised up and down the Tejos river sipping wine and enjoying the views
Wonderful crew, beautiful old wooden boat and lovely views. Wine was generously outed and overall a low key sunset experience. We enjoyed the evening!
This was a fun sunset tour. Dress warm the wind is strong on the river. Nice wine and good commentary.
We loved the boat ride and wine. It was very smooth and I was so happy there was a restroom on the boat! A great way for my son and I to spend time together in Lisbon.
I really enjoyed the cruise, I was extremely disappointed that several of us had no seats, Just a piece of board not wide enough for our bums. It was very uncomfortable
The staff were very friendly
The weather looked rainy and cold and I asked if we could change to a future day and was informed there was no other options. So we did the cruise and there was no cover and two of our members suffered hypothermia from the rain and then the cold wind.
When we got back to the shore, the sun has not even set. The tour should at least operate according to the sunset schedule if it is called sunset boat trip.
The boat didn't have the bench seats from the picture, which we had hoped for as I have mobility issues. We were pleasantly surprised though. It was busy, music and wine was good, and there was enough commentary about the sights. It was a great way to end our trip to Lisbon.
