Excellent Historical Tour
It is worth the trip to Portugal and learn the history of the country. The historical architectural sites were colorful and outstanding with beautiful landscapes surrounding them. Joao (Carlos) was such an amazing, informative and humorous Tour guide. It taught me how much I need to workout. The good and bad of the Tour was the amount of walking I endured. I would do it all over again. I loved every stop and site.

Sintra Day Tour- A Magical Experience
My family and I had a wonderful experience on our first trip to Portugal. Our private tour guide Felipe was an absolute treasure. He was informative, friendly, down to earth and detail oriented. He spent the whole day with us taking us to various sites which included the gorgeous seaside town of Cascais and the fairy tale storybook village of Sintra. We also toured the National Palace of Pena which was exquisite and enchanting. Felipe paced our day incredibly well and was a wealth of information throughout the day. He took great care in making sure we were happy. I was recovering from a calf muscle strain and he made sure I could navigate the hilly terrain, where needed, successfully. My family and I highly recommend this day trip of Sintra and Felipe.

Fantastic Tour
My wife and I spent five days in Lisbon prior to a cruise. We did a half day city tour and explored a lot of the city on our own. For our last day we wanted to get a little outside of the city so we booked a full day tour to Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais. Giovana, our tour guide was fabulous. She picked us up right on time by our hotel. The vehicle was large and comfortable. Giovana was very pleasant to speak with and was extremely knowledgeable. She lives in Sintra so she really knows her way around the area. She seems to know everyone in town. There was so much to see and do. We loved visiting the historic center of Sintra, it is a quaint little town and was quite e njoyable after the hustle and bustle of Lisbon. We stopped at Casa Piriquita, one of the most famous pastry shops in Europe. We sampled the travesseirks, an almond filled puff pastry. They were delicious. We then went to The Regaleira Castele, an absolutely stunning castle. The Initiation Well is one of the "don't miss" sights in Portugal and I thought it one of our highlights of our trip to Portugal. We also visited the Pena Palace and gardens. Another breathtaking castle perched high in the Sintra mountains. The castle is actually two separate castles, the more ancient red side (from the 16th century) which includes a beautiful chapel, and the yellow side which was built after the earthquake of 1755. We had a lovely lunch at a small restaurant called 3Gomes in the small fishing village of Cabo da Roca. The food was very local and very well prepared. After lunch we visited Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in continental Europe. The views of the ocean were simply amazing. After we left Cabo da Roca we took a short drive to Cascais and visited Boca do Inferno, the Mouth of Hell. This is a large area where the ocean has eroded a parts of the cliff and the ocean waves crash into a beautiful pit. It was stunning. After a long day, Giovanna brought us back to our hotel. The tour was wonderful and out tour guide was one of the best we have ever had. My wife and I tour extensively through Europe and have taken tours in Scotland, Greece, Itsly, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany Austria, and Hungary. I can honey say Giovanna was one of the best tour guides we have had anywhere. We highly recommend this tour.

This three city in one day Portugal tour is very valuable, informative, exciting amazing...and many more. My local tour guide Francisco was superb and detailed in organizing the timings, bathroom allocations, pleasant character and attentive. Imagine, one day, three cities in Portugal. Great value, and since this tour was booked through Viator, nothing went wrong.
