Our guide Nuno was fantastic, well informed and friendly. A ptovided uss along the trip with very good informatiom on the places we visited but also Portuguese history and culture. Highlights of the trip were Fatima and Obido. We really enjoyed the experience.

Need to drive safer. Hops he will talk about history of the site seeing places as a tour guide, not just a driver. Anyway, he is a nice guy.

Good information. We ran into an accident on the highway to Fatima which decreased our time on the actual tour by almost an hour. We really would have liked to have that hour extended into the tour but I guess this is not company policy. We did not get a refund either. Our tour guide was great and this was not his fault but it was disappointing.

What is on the website and what is given is very different. It says there’s 90 minutes at Fatima but there was only 60 minutes. When it came to Nazara the best iconic thing about the Saint Joseph carved Saint Mary statue wasn’t even given a mention. When it came to the aqueduct there was barely any information provided and we would let down a tourist alley of cheaper nasty shops. This was a transport service not a guided tour. We requested a refund but the contact number was incognito as soon as the tour was concluded

Nice tour for price wise. I just wish the tour guide had microphone coz even in a small van, it’s hard to hear what he was saying. Also, I wish the Fatima and Òbidos was bit longer.

Don't waste your time and money. Even though tour is supposed to be in English, 60% in Portuguese. Difficult to hear guide in vehicle, no audio system. Guide recited rosary in vehicle. Very poor judgment. Dropped us off at Fatima , said see you in an hour. Did so during a scheduled mass where entrance to many areas closed. I could continue but ......

We want to address the concerns you raised, as they are important to us. The tour was indeed primarily conducted in English. We checked the manifest for your specific tour and found that the group was predominantly English-speaking, with no Portuguese speakers in the vehicle.
As for the guide's commentary explainingthe history and significance of the Rosary is central to the story of Fátima.
For our small group tours, which are limited to a maximum of 8 people, we find that a personal, conversational approach is more effective and intimate than using an audio system. This allows for direct interaction and the opportunity for guests to ask questions as we go.
Regarding your visit to Fátima, the guide’s intention was to give you free time to explore the Sanctuary at your own pace. While some areas might have limited access during a service, the Sanctuary grounds and the main chapels are always open to visitors who wish to visit, as long as the ongoing events are respected. The timing of your arrival is carefully considered to avoid major services, as the 10:00 AM Rosary had just concluded, providing a window to explore the main sites.
We understand your feeling that the experience was not what you expected, and we regret that this was your takeaway from the tour. We wish you the best in your future travels.

I have to say the locations we visited were wonderful and worth the visit, but be sure to have Google access on your phone if you are looking for information or historical background on any of the sites. The tour guide was basically a driver. The lunch was buffet style nothing to write home about. Obidos was a favorite location and if more time was aloted to this location it would have been grand.

This tour was a big disappointment. After all the tours I did through Viator the tour guide in this case was below mediocre. Very little effort in his part to bring to life the experience we were about to have. This was simply transportation to the different stops to be let off to shops and browse on your own. Additionally the English tour turned into a Portuguese tour, I had to ask the guide to kindly share the information he was sharing with two Brazilian participants as they engaged I. Long conversations excluding those of us who’ve pegged an English speaking tour. Quite different from my previous experiences during my stay in Portugal.

On your particular tour, there were five English-speaking participants and two Portuguese-speaking participants. While our guides are trained to ensure all guests receive the full commentary in their chosen language, we acknowledge that the balance in a bilingual setting can sometimes feel unfair, and we apologize if you felt excluded at any point. Tour guide was brief and to the point.
I think Fatima we stayed a bit longer than we could have, and maybe staying at obidos longer would have been nicer but in the end all good and great experience.

If you are like my husband and I and like to see as much as you can in a quick visit, this one is also perfect for you. But, we were only 5 people from 3 seperate bookings, sadly on 2 different stops some of them managed to amount to 30 minutes of being late to the gathering points. So that Nazaré and Obidos had to be very quick stops. I still give 5 stars because Anabella, our very nice and knowledgeable guide, did her very best to make up from time wasted by guests. Please respect the time frame!
