Excellent views of the multiple palaces. We purchased the Pena palace external tour of the palace and gardens for a closer look. We avoided the long lines to the internal rooms. The trip to the coastal cliffs was also beautiful.

Hello Keith We thank you for your review, however we find it unfair that your complaint has nothing to do with the quality of our services or with the guide or the tour itself. Sintra is a very popular and turistic place, so of course traffic is always going to be a problem that we all face in the region, especially when you are yourself part of the problem for bringing in a rental car to an area that is already overloaded. Just something to consider for your next travels.

I highly recommend this tour! If you're on the fence, just do it. The flexible pickup time was why we booked, but it turned out to be even better than expected. Nuno was our guide and he was so great! The palace and estate we saw was Quinta da Regaleira and it was so beautiful. We didnt feel rushed at all and ended up utilizing all of our time that we didnt think we would. Don't forget to buy your ticket separately - totally worth it!

We had a fabulous day out in Sintra and the area with Nuno! His knowledge about everything from Sintra itself, the history of Portugal, food, Lisbon and everything in between was amazing! He had something cool to say for everywhere we were, we learned so much with him. He was flexible and easy going and even walked us up to Quinta Da Regaleira due to the road being closed from the recent storm and gave us a bunch of information along the walk. He was able to help us make a new plan when we learned we wouldn’t be able to see the gardens of Pena Palace due to the storm. I can’t stress enough how easy and informative our day with him was!

We loved our tour guide Nuno. The tour itself was wonderful, but I cannot express how much we enjoyed our time with Nuno. We have traveled a lot (74 countries) and have used Viator or 'Get Your Guide' or 'Tours by Locals' occasionally when we need or want to do something not easy to do on our own. Nuno was exceptionally knowledgeable about our destination (Sintra) and the surrounding areas (Lisbon, Cascais). However, more importantly (to me), he enthusiastically answered my myriad questions on topics ranging from flora and fauna to history, geology, climate, political issues regarding the Portuguese governmental systems and law (my husband and I are lawyers), linguistic origins and so many other things. His English is excellent (he studied linguistics I believe). He was so friendly, patient and enthusiastic with us. I would recommend him unconditionally.

It is clear he has taken a great deal of time and effort to prepare his tours. Great day in Sintra and coast views

My 19 year old daughter and I had a wonderful tour with Nuno for a day in Sintra. Nuno is super knowledgeable, approachable and fun to listen to. We enjoyed the history of Sintra plus the gorgeous views along the coast. The day sped by! Nuno also took us for wonderful pastries which we loved too! Definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is open to having a busy and interesting day and soaking in a lot of history and views!
