Pickup in Lisbon city centre, from 7h40 at hotels downtown or 7h50 Uptown - we will confirm time the day before. In case we have no parking access or your hotel is not in the centre, we might ask you to walk 5 min to a nearby meeting-point. If your hotel is not listed, choose the closest from where you are staying, or select one of the meeting points (Praça Luis de Camões 7:40 / Praça Figueira 7:40 / Hard Rock 7:45 / Evolution Saldanha 7:45 / Praça Marquês de Pombal 7:50). Maximum waiting is 5 minutes, for both pickup and after meeting points during the visits, to avoid delaying the tour.

Small group tour with Filipe was the best way to experience Sintra and Cascais. He knows a lot about the history of Portugal especially the places we visited.

We had an amazing tour with Pedro. His knowledge was vast and he also shared personal stories along the way. Pena palace sintra and casius were all beautiful 😍. He gave many great recommendations as well. We especially loved Santorini ice cream shop!

We really enjoyed our day trip to Sintra! The van was comfortable with AC and Felipe was very knowledgeable. The only disappointment was we couldn’t see Pena Palace because the roads were shut down due to wildfire concerns - but that wasn’t anyone’s fault and we were informed the day before by the tour company. Our kids especially loved exploring Regaleira - wish we had more time there! Cabo de Roca and Cascais were also lovely to see. Overall, it was a wonderful day!

This was a fantastic way to end our time in Portugal. Brilliant guide, caring and fun, gave us a beautiful tour, a good mix of history, culture and fun facts, and also free time to enjoy. Nice van on a small group, we hate those big groups - this tour is only 8, simply perfect to meet people and avoid the big bus confusion. The right day trip for a couple seeking the perfect day. Definitely recommend.

More time was spent in Sintra than needed. It may have been because the Pena Palace was closed because of the threat of fires (the temperatures are unusually high). I would recommend getting the additional tickets to Regaleria ahead of time because they sell out and there isn’t much to do in Sintra and you are on your own for 3 hours without the guide.
I loved the coastal views on the ride to Cabo Roca and Cascais. I would ask to spend more time in one of the coastal towns to allow for a dip in the water or a drink at a seaside restaurant.

Dear Kathleen, we appreciate your feedback. We normally don't stay that long in Sintra but we had to extend due to Pena Palace closure. Our goal was to have our small group happy, as most had tickets to visit Regaleira (you decided not to buy, despite our suggestion). Pena Palace was closed due to the wildfire risk - this is beyond our control but for everyone's safety. We have informed you in advance and given you a fantastic alternative program. We have also taken you on a new guided tour of the National Palace, but respect it is not your favorite thing. This is an historical and cultural tour, with lots of fun and good vibe which 99% of our customers enjoy - again we cannot please everyone, unfortunately. All the best

This was an amazing your! Pedro was our driver. He was full of fun facts, was able to navigate us with another client as we did not have certain tickets and she did. We saw so much and he had great recommendations for food and drinks with a view. Ask for Pedro if you book this tour!

This was my partner and I’s first time in Portugal and we wanted to fit Sintra in and see a few more things, and this was just perfect. It is true that visiting some of these unique gems requires some walking - the area is hilly and we cannot drive to the entrance of Unesco sites. We totally respect you do not like walking, but enjoying these special experiences is always different from our daily routine – 99% of our customers love it - you actually told us you were happy with the day.

This was an incredible tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and I appreciated not having to figure out how to get to the four different sites myself! Make sure you purchase your own ticket for Quinta da Regaleira because it is not included and they sell out!

Our guide Edi was the most enthusiastic and passionate guide we have ever had. His review of the complicated history of Pena castle and the Portuguese monarchy was extensive. He did really well in tying in the history and the contemporary aspects of it all - much was not easy. He had a great sense of humour and loved answering every question asked. Edi’s recommendations for stops, cafés and lunch spots were fantastic. He even sent our group for his favourite restaurants in Lisbon to try. It was a long day, and we covered everything plus with a great guide.

Had an amazing experience seeing Sintra. The tour guide (Mauro) was extremely informative, generous, and funny. Provided in depth history of Sintra/Cascais/Regailara. Recommend bringing good shoes, water, and a power bank.
