Beautiful opportunity if you’re trying to see more of Portugal from Lisbon in short period of time. It’s a long day, but bus was comfortable. We wished we would have had a lot more time in Óbidos. This was a beautiful location and we’d definitely go back there on our own. It’s a lot to take in, in one day but most suitable if you’re trying to encompass a lot in a short time. Johnny was a great tour guide.

Magical experience

A lovely day off the beaten track

What a great day! Our guide, Joao, provided us with a very enjoyable visit to two wineries where we were able to sample several Portuguese wines. We visited a medieval castle and stopped at the lovely beachside fishing village of Sesimbra for lunch. It was well worth the trip!

Excellent Day Trip

Excellent tour made possible by our tour guide, Diago. A real Portuguese that’s passionate about the work that he does. His excitement and energy brings life to this long tour. We learned so much about history while we traveled to the different sites. The tour was well organized and we were able to see many beautiful places. If you are able to do only one day trip, this 8-9 hour tour was totally worth the price especially if Diago is your tour guide.

Great Way to see Sintra

This was a very interesting and efficient way to see and learn about Sintra and the Pena Palace. Our guide was great and shared so much interesting information about the area and its history. We didn’t go into the rooms of the palace, which requires standing in long lines, and we heard from others that it wasn’t worth the wait. The sights the outside are amazing and the views from the top are breathtaking.

This was a great way to see Lisbon -- it is such a huge city that it is impossible to cover it all by foot, but our guide made sure that we saw a lot of highlights and took us to a couple of vantage points for great pictures and to make sure that we could spot everything of significance. (He also taught us several tricks to get around the city using escalators and elevators to avoid the hills!) A great introduction to Lisbon with a friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful guide. Very recommended for those who are looking to learn more and explore the city by foot.

An interesting, great day

Be ready to walk and explore. It’s really helpful if you read about the site before you go as well. Our guide, David, was outstanding and that’s a big part of the experience. Everything he recommended we tried and everyone of them were spot on. he not only pointed out interest in things to see, but had lots of help with hints like the free Wi-Fi and other little things that made the trip much easier.

Excellent tour of São Miguel

Very inclusive two day tour with an excellent guide. First day was a little tiring since we covered so many principal places but still wonderful.
